It operates!!!! Team Fortress2 and left4dead look awsome in widescreen like becoming at a movie theater. Searching forward to Flight SimX in widescreen. Lots and lots of actual estate to work with. This is NOT a item for newbies. You have to download the most current drivers and software program to access high rez 1680x1050 which is native 22" wide screen rez. CAUTION!!! Make positive your monitor has a variable refresh rate and can run at 55 to 75 HZ. ACER x223w/AL2223w runs at 1680x1050 @ 60hz and can not run widescreen 5040x1080 at 57hz Ɠx1680) which is what the TH2go pumps out. My Max rez is 4320x900 @ 60hz fantastic but not fantastic. Best packing ever... Gaming is great. Setup a breeze. Now I have to get a much better processor (old amd be-2350). It takes a fair amount of processing power to run. No fault of the th2go. my weak specs ;) gigabyte ga-ma69vm-s2 (f10e), amd be-2350, evga 8800gt, 4gig 667, xp. Playing BFBC2 at medium settings high 20's - low 40's fps. Both cores of processor about 97% usage. Its playable but respawn times are poor, takes about 10seconds to get respawnd. Upping to a phenom 945 x4. I'm thinking this must do the trick. Also, if you update video drivers right after th2go, you have to re-setup th2go, confused me for about an hour..... Make confident your technique is far better than my specs. It works ok, but anything much less ur going to be hurting. Great luck have entertaining. O, operating 3 acer 223w's at 5040x1024

Practically plug and play with Windows Vista. I am operating two Windows OS in the same Pc: XP an Vista. I had two video cards with 3 monitors: a single PCI card and the other a PCI express vdeo card and occasionally my laptop or computer was sluggish when I ran video games spanning the image in the three monitors. So, I removed the PCI card, installed the Matrox box and Vista recognized the Matrox box appropriate away and even ahead of installing the Matrox Software the desktop was displaying a 3840x1024 view. Remarkable! With XP I had to install the Matrox software package and was so effortless to get the 3840x1024 view. Playing MS Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX and Tom Clancy's HAWX. The view is just incredible! And the performance/speed of my Pc has improved! I nevertheless consider that the Matrox Triplehead2Go is expensive for what it does. Playing games accross 3 screens is awesome, i dont believe i can go back to a normal 1 screen setup. Just search TH2G on youtube. I have this accross three 22" Widescreen LCD's to run games @ 5040x1050. Having that much more screen "Realistate" is also extremely good to have, you can be watching a film in a single monitor, be browsing the world wide web in the other screen, and nonetheless have 1 screen to spare! lol The Digital Edition is the only a single with the DVI connectors, so go Digital. They dont ship (at least the time that i bought mine ) with an already updated firmware in order to assistance the 1680x1050 x3 resolutions so you have to do that yourself, its not challenging but be aware. Some games are not supported. The Matrox internet site says that World of warcraft is, but its really not, BUT Wrath of the litch king is suppose to be so we'll see.In order to run 1680x1050x3 񢸰x1050) each and every monitor has to run at 1680x1050᤹Hz, which not all monitors do. Sets up 3 monitors pretty speedily. Nice searching and seems nicely built... Very first off the software program it comes with just sucks, and most games it says it works with it does not. Also the way it sets up the monitors, the pc see's them all as one incredibly wide monitor and this causes distinct applications to not display properly. Most of the time you have to drag the window to the size of the monitor you want to use and attempt to make it fit proper. Not worth the dollars, if you are attempting to do triple screen gaming just use SoftTH. Im running a 295GTX video card, and for some purpose when i play triple screen games with the maxtor it slows the games to a crawl. When i setup the games with SoftTH (which only enables me to use 1 gpu not both) , the games still run 20+fps faster...

I've had my Track IR for over a year, and I believed that was a quantum leap in the expertise it provided. My expectation was that adding the TH2Go would just be an incremental improvement, but it turned out to be just as significant as the Track IR was.Exactly where Track IR adjustments your level of situational awareness (assuming you bother to look about frequently), the TH2Go makes a large difference in the feeling of "being there". By giving you more peripheral vision the TH2Go supplies a que to turn your head with the Track IR for a far better look when somthing moves that shouldn't be there.This is how simulations were meant to be skilled. I have a dual boot program. The desktop management computer software works fine with Vista - SP1 but doesn't operate with my XP - SP3. I spent a couple of weeks going back and forth with Matrox, but in the end, no joy. Makes 3 monitors function together seamlessly. I play Counter Strike:Source, so the surrond gaming is awesome, you can almost see around corners. Not certain how that performs in other games. If you are using a laptop or restricted desktop, it is usefull - make certain your program can help the extended resolutions. Cannot rotate displays - I have 3 19" @ 1280x1024񢦀x1024), would like to have run as 1024x1280񢚀x1280). The height is significantly superior for working on documents including VISIO. The product works nicely, but is pricey if you have a modern day computer system. Most computers have a number of PCIe slots so operating a second video card working with extended display is a lot less expensive. For laptops or computers that can only help one video card, this is a usefull remedy. I'm operating three 19" and one 24" off of two 9800GTX+ video cards, got this to use the surround gaming but lost the rotated display capability.

Excellent item, operates well for what it advertises. Considerably less costly/easier than purchasing a quad-output vid card. Not a lot of. Ought to HAVE DUAL-LINK DVI CABLES AND GRAPHICS CARD. This is mentioned in the description, but is somewhat vague. That is most likely why the user beneath is obtaining the "Windows Error" and can\'t do the higher resolutions. I could not get mine to work either and switched to an nVidia 8400GS and it worked. Apparently my other card was not dual-link capable. Works brilliantly, even in Linux with a small tweaking. Totally painless configuration in Windows. Device feels solid and has nice connectors. I'm running 3x Gateway FPD2185W at 5040x1050. The alternative to a TH2Go is several video cards, which locks you into upgrading two high-finish cards each year or two. With TH2Go, you can run with just one high-finish card. None If you have a dilemma with your Matrox hardware inside your warranty, they will not assist you. They will ask you to submit a RMA trough their internet site, but then you will not hear from them once again. If you call Matrox tech support,you will have to wait at least 45 minutes ahead of you will talk with an individual. Then you will have to do about 3 hours worth of troubleshooting before they will even believe about approving a RMA.

"Missing cables?" it would have been nice had this setup came with the important DVI cables for hook up for three screens. Not a large gripe. But just a nuisance."Game edit Software" LAME it works but not as expected. Some games clip(Missing leading of screen. Most most likely a game software program concern rather than the configuration issue) genuinely poor. "Beware weak video cards" I went to run this in DVI to TripleHead2Go to DVI and it would not run at a decent resolution due to not becoming able to set my card to a specific mode for each DVI/VGA OutPut. Whoever gave this a poor assessment need to be a flat out moron. This is by far the very best item addition at any computer system. Took ten minutes to attached, configure and play games. I enjoy how each and every window is independent of each other and all one cohesive group at the exact same time. Gaming is a snap...Matrox has its own capability to automatically configure your game from the wide screen surround gaming arena....WOW!!! It actually doesn't matter if you are technical or not. This truly is no diverse than hooking up your router and following a couple of on-screen prompts. You can configure something the way you want it with this product. Thank you Matrox. I will absolutely recommend this to my pals. Fantastic FPS as effectively as an outstanding interface for your own preferences. If you want one of the best gaming experience for flight simulators and a few other games out there this is the product to get, it even lets you have three windows to play around with for windows, its really good but the price is a bit high.
