Comments: Effectively... I truly liked this mouse when I got it, a couple of weeks ago, but now that i am using it on my desk, it isnt as smooth as my old trackball, my desk isnt precisely 100% level but my trackball worked fine on my desk, this just isnt as very good as a trackball, but u never need to have to clean it, so i am going to stick with it for now.

The mouse lasted roughly six years, it was originally the family Computer mouse, but, considering that i have owned it it has been pounded via additional games with no a single dilemma until recently. My household and I have abused this mouse all through its lifetime, it served loyally till its inevitable death not too long ago. Only a single, if you plug this in before logging into windows XP, it will not install it till you log on for some odd purpose Unless you consider the left click button failing immediately after six years of endless hours playing shooter primarily based video games, then there are no other folks. Left click button died on it recently, thought it could be replaced, but sadly, it had broke loose of the board ruining the solder points following becoming bashed by means of six years of use. Oh nicely, it was offered as well our family, and I have just bought this mouse as its replacement, the newer version of the intelimouse I bought has failed me after dropping it as soon as, but I know this mouse will not. I would like too note, our intelimouse had been dropped, beaten, and typically abused throughout its lifetime without a issue till its timely death. I very recommend this mouse as well any person, becoming the straightforward end user, or the hard core gamer, it will last, hand getting the re-load button at your thumb is often a great factor.

I got this mouse back in 2001. It's been used every single day for every little thing from gaming to widespread applications. I'm nonetheless working with it right now. In no way had a single challenge. The glide pads on the bottom wore away to nothing soon after about six or 7 years, but I didn't actually notice until I looked. The red light bleeds out the front of the mouse, so if you have a wide monitor, you may get some red light shining on it.

Comments: Great mouse, doesnt come with drivers but you can download them from Microsoft's website. Got mine for 21 bucks which is much less than half the price at retail stores. The mouse itself is effortless to use and behaves substantially like a normal mouse except there is no ball that gets stuck when its dirty.

This mouse is the very best! I've owned quite a few, several kinds of mice, but none seem to match this one’s reliability and functionality for the cost. M$ has made a product here and I'll continue to buy this mouse for all of my Pc's. Not simple to find in the retail retailers, but that's what NewEgg.com is for. You guys rock! Microsoft does a wonderful job developing input devices. Their mice and keyboards just look to be superior created then the rest. This mouse is a good product.

Got here in blazing quickly quantity of time and the massive 4th and 5th mouse buttons makes this mouse a classic. Scrolling seems to be a problem i dont know if this is a problem with vista or just a difficulty with this unique mouse. I've owned a single prior to but it went out on me in 2 years. I checked all the sophisticated intellipoint options on the software but no go. Excellent mouse for gaming because of the big 4th and 5th mouse buttons I am confident I will discover a fix for the sluggish scroll speed and as soon as that happens this mouse is unparalleled in comfort.

Not too major, performs on something.. you can use it on your leg, carpet, bed spread.. havent had a issue with inadvertanly hitting the side buttons, which you can set to do anything includding keystrokes, doubleclick, etc... Scans/sec seem a lot more than sufficient..

The very best gaming mouse on the planet! I can examine this to various Logitec gaming mice. Not overly crowded with buttons. The weight and really feel is best for quick twitch games (FPS). I can't tell you how considerably I appreciate this mouse! None seriously, if wheel noise is a concern a various mouse. I always have my headset on so I under no circumstances hear it :) I have have two of these and im on my 3rd one now. I owned the very same version of this mouse minus the added buttons then upgraded and have been employing this model sense 2004.

Low cost, looks nice, massive side buttons, recognized by XP and Vista, ambidextrous. Wheel - isnt fully silent, feels low cost following a prolonged use. Reputable but they do go undesirable after a couple years which is to be anticipated. It would be good if they released a black version. Ever considering the fact that I started making use of this various years ago I havent located a fantastic explanation to switch.

I've owned due to the fact the quarter it came out. I almost certainly paid ฽ for it back then also. lol There are numerous pro's with this mouse! 1. The two buttons on either side, which I use for Back and Forward. Because of these buttons, I certainly can NOT tolerate mice that don't have this! two. Quite high versatility with the Auto-Scroll function: I have been in a position to use it in like 99% of programs I've utilised in the x-quantity of years I've owned this. three. Optical technologies. Yeah, there's laser, but so what? Middle wheel is utilized as a 3rd button. I adore using that in Firefox!!!!! ;) four. Aesthetics. It's only a great searching mouse. five. It's corded!! Corded = Total Mousing Self-confidence. I hate the notion of wireless. I'd to be concerned with batteries, and thent the cost of the mouse rises with every battery it eats. No, thanks. This is not so significantly a con as it is informative: Optical mice (and perhaps laser mice as well) require a common mouse pad, or, rather, some form of surface that's not reflective, or glossy by any indicates. As an alternative, it should be a really "flat" surface so it can detect the changes as it moves so it knows that you're moving it, and in exactly which path. Assume of the following intense example of working with this on a mirror. The pattern remains perfectly continuous, so it doesn't know it's moving and thus it's rendered useless. I have this robust feeling that this mouse will be discontinued. If you like it, then stock up. I hope to have 5 far more before fall ƒ white/silver, and 3 black/silver making 3 of every single! hehe). That ought to last me an extremely lengthy time, unless Microsoft releases a greater version of this mouse (while keeping the buttons on each sides!

Very good price tag, excellent looks, five buttons, feels good on my hands, mouse feet glides smoothly. The scrool wheel is rather noisy. I was hoping that I'd get used to it, but right after a whilst, each and every and every scroll click is just annoying. The buttons also contributes to some noise, as they are loose and flap a bit, in contrast to some of Microsoft's other mice. If you have a "click style" like me, often clicking and then promptly releasing the finger from the button, the button flaps up and tends to make a springy noise. The white finish gets dirty much easier than Microsoft's other white mice. Most customers seem to be able to place up with the cons, but when I create a quiet method, I want every thing to be quiet, which includes the mouse. The clackity wheel and flappy buttons got on my nerves so I returned it. This mouse appear to be constructed in a different way than the Microsoft's other mice. I went with the quieter 3 button Wheel Mouse Optical rather.

It does Precisely what it requirements to do, it's thirty bucks for the retail version, it's got perfectly usable resolution, and there's practically nothing at all that additional high priced mice have that I even vaguely need, except for the grip of some gaming mice I've looked at. To stretch for one thing, it's a small light. Barely, although, I don't notice it for most factors. Your mileage May well differ, but for my dollars, you can't get a far better mouse at this price tag.

Fits comfortably in your hand. Slides nicely on all practical surfaces. its optical. its got 5 buttons and a great scroll wheel. not confident this is a con or a prefernece. but i am looking for one in black/silver rather of my silver/tan To put it as straightforward as i can, this mouse is Wonderful!!! I have owned it for nicely over 4 years. I bought it way back when it 1st came out, payed more than 50 bucks for it. Pals laughed at me becuse of the price tag, but now i laugh when my mouse nevertheless runs robust and they have had a half dozen or a lot more considering that then. I will undoubtedly buy yet another a single!!! i adore the five buttons and scroll wheel, which btw i abuse the scroll wheel alot in gaming, zooming in and out and i flip it ultra rapidly and it nonetheless goes and goes and goes, this mouse is like the energizer of mice. Love IT!!!

It's comfy in my hands. The buttons are easy to click. It's trustworthy. I don't remember when I bought this mouse, but it was at least 7 years ago, most likely much more like 8 or 9, and I am nevertheless using it right now to click around newegg and purchase an additional one particular for operate.I have tried to replace this mouse with "fancier" ones with wireless, and so forth, and constantly gotten frustrated and gone back to this a single. I've utilised mice that were so tricky to click that I would move the mouse when I pressed the button just like the old folks who I teach to read their e-mail. Not so with the Intellimouse. Every little thing works wonderful. When in awhile the scrollwheel goes crazy and I have to jiggle it to make it stop. Identical with the pointer. Each of these could very easily be a function of the truth that the issue is at least 7 or 8 years old, or maybe they are definitely cons. I don't really know. It hasn't been adequate of a bother to detract me from a five-egg assessment, considering that I'm not truly a gamer. I don't feel I have ever been so pleased with a piece of laptop or computer hardware. Just the truth that it operates as effectively as ever right after several years kind of mind blowing.

Ʃ buttons*Nice click really feel*Great mouse wheel really feel*Light weight*easy to clean surface with durable plastics that do not scratch very easily (though the Microsoft logo will put on off after a handful of years... but who cares?)*Fantastic durability *Will initially demand some finding utilized to as its an ambidextrous mouse, but you will get utilised to it. Have had two of these so far and this last a single I am just replacing now has lasted Ӳ years. I have beaten on this point and dropped it, crunched it, and so on... and it has still worked like a champ!Only purpose I am replacing it is the 5th button (pinky button) on the correct side has stopped working. I use this for Ventrillo and so I've had to rebind it to the mousewheel button which is a lot more annoying to use.I am acquiring two this time to maintain a spare on hand! These will be the 3rd and 4th that I have owned.

*Great fit for any size hand, large or small*Easy to use, easy style*Comfortable*Ambidextrous - great for left or appropriate handers*LONG lasting and insanely sturdy(Debatable Pro: The scroll wheel clicks. I like my mice like that so it doesn't scroll as well very easily when I'm gaming but some individuals favor a smoother roll without having clicking. ) *Only 2 buttons(Debatable Cons: You can\'t turn off the LED light. No way to adjust weightCouple of sensitivity choices to transform if you like it very sensitive) I cannot advocate this mouse extremely sufficient!!! I use this mouse mainly for gaming. I've had it for over 7 years and it is nevertheless going powerful. I haven't had ANY issues with this mouse. I've attempted 贄 gaming mice and I Still go back to this 1. Some gamers like ultra sensitive mice but I don't so this is excellent for me. It would be even much more great if there were 2 buttons on each side as an alternative of 1.

This mouse rocks. This is the very best ambidextrus mouse I could uncover with 5 programable buttons, that did not have a mouse ball over 5 years ago. I have been abusing this mouse ever since. It performs excelent and fits nicely in the hand. None The only explanation I am replaceing it now is that the cabel began to fail soon after much more than 2000 hours of initial person shooter gameing. I was extremely upset that I could not discover it in the retailer as my clan was meeting tonight. I may buy 2 simply because I could not uncover a very good replacement in the shop and keep one as a backup. Great job Newegg for haveing this oldy but goody around. See you all in UT2004/UT3 land.

Comments: A bargain at this price tag, this mouse is much better for me due to the fact I'm left-handed. My only complaint is that the wheel is too "firm" to scroll and/or click. This is something that has been improved in later versions. Be certain to download the Intellipoint software from Microsoft's net internet site.

I bought this mouse when it was the newest on the market shortly immediately after optical mice came out. That need to have been more than 8 years ago now. I have by no means had a single problem with this mouse immediately after moving to new houses, going to LAN parties and employing the laptop or computer for over 100 hours a week. None. I strategy to stock up on at least 10 of these just in situation. So i never have to get employed to yet another mouse.
