Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:A couple of bugs.

Windows 7 is a major improvement of Windows Vista. Less bugs, less BSoD. Everything is better. I think I prefer it to even Windows XP. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:-Doesn't have very good sharing between Windows 7 and XP computers.
Pros:-User Friendliness-Fast-Pretty-64 bit Comment:
I love Windows 7. I have been using Windows XP for so very long, even when Vista came out because it was such a powerful OS. Windows 7 has definitely taken the lead though, and it is about time. You will love this new OS compared to XP and Vista (or older versions if you still use them). One feature I use quite a bit is the start menu 'search' feature. It searches your whole computer for files and commands; also serves as a 'Run' promt. 64 bit is always nice, although I haven't found a HUGE noticeable difference from it. One thing I don't like is that my dad still uses XP and Windows 7 doesn't have very good media sharing and sharing in general between the two OS's. Maybe its just me and I haven't figured it out yet. Definitely make the upgrade to this OS! |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:-Does not work with some older games like Star Wars Battlefront II-The Administrative features are kinda of buggy with USB Flashdrives connecting and external Hardrive mirroring-Control panel is much different and not as effective as Windows XP
Pros:-Fast and Effective-8gigs of RAM ability-Infinity and beyond better then Vista-Nice clean user interface-Easy to update Comment:
I love the operating system it helps me deal with the pain of the customer betrayal with Windows forcing upon as Vista. It has a nice clean color schemes and interfaces. My only want is for them to bring back the Windows XP style of control panel, the way Windows has made the control panel is like how Mac makes theirs, aka makes them conform to the wishes of the PC instead of the user and the user being unable to change important things easily. I would rather chop of my leg and eat before I switch to a Macintosh system because I hate how they make to conform to their systems and not allow to to change ANYTHING. If windows become like that in the future, well there's always Lynx... |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:None
Pros:Its not Vista Comment:
This is a million times better than Vista. It is much easier to use than XP. There are still a few products that are having compatability issues (ex: WD TV live) but I'm sure these will be ironed out in the future. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:Windows mail gone, not as pretty as Vista
Pros:Fast and easy setup and install, stable Comment:
Installation was much faster and simpler than Xp or Vista, so far very few compatibility issues. System start up is much faster. Windows Mail has been removed, probably a ploy to promote Windows Live Mail. It's not quite as smooth looking as Vista was but it seems a lot more stable. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:- Win7 is horrible OS- Overcomplicated many aspects- Not as configurable
Pros:- Not as expensive as previous OS used to be Comment:
Overall I think Win7 is a massive failure on Microsoft part. Many people stayed away from Vista because they like XP more, while other were switching over to macs. Microsoft should of learnt from that lesson and made win7 as powerful and configurable as WinXP. I hate how I need third party apps to fix simple things like taskbar look. Or how even simple stuff like "detailed view" in the control panel is now missing. Or how MS changed things around for no reason, like default behavior of ctrl-alt-del. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:It's from Microsoft...lol!
Pros:Trim support for SSD'sFast setup and install.Much cheaper than Pro or Ultimate with 99% of the features. Comment:
Bought this for my wifes machine along with a 60GB Vertex SSD. It's an unbelievable increase in speed and resposiveness compared to XP on a mechanical drive! Win 7 is much more polished that Vista, uses less resources and is generally faster and more efficient all the way around. No complaints here so far, very stable.Watch Linus's review, there's almost no difference between Home Premium, Pro and Ultimate. If you don't need those few select features, save a bunch of $$$ and get this. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:- Not Ultimate- Show Desktop button gone (replaced by a diff icon)- Not all apps optimized for 64-bit yet
Pros:+ Fast and very stable+ Manages memory better than Vista+ IMO the best OS currently out on the market+ Supports more than 4GB of RAM Comment:
This is, in my opinion, the best home OS on the market. Microsoft finally released a good successor to the Windows 2000 kernel. Windows XP was a good commercial OS, but Vista was just terrible. Windows 7 is faster, has better driver support, and manages system resources much better than Vista. A lot of fixes, features and work have been put into this OS and it shows. It now has better security, better functionality, and stability. Yes, you could cheap out and go with ubuntu, Mac OS or even Chrome OS. But this OS delivers and has the support of majority of the developers out there. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:Anyone who paid for Vista should have received a free copy.
Pros:SmoothTo many to list Comment:
I've never owned any other operating system except for Windows. Ever since 3.1... After a successful run, '95,'98, xp, they decided to rush out Vista and bare the problems when the arose, it never panned out that way. Vista was problematic and glitchy from the start. Finally they went back, tweaked, fixed and updated Vista to what it should have looked like back in '06.After dealing with Vista all these years it's great to see it's successor make a statement with it's refined usefulness and interface. The pro's of this OS is substantial, and not just for the average user, but for enthusiast's to advanced.85% of the world uses Windows, its easily recommended to anyone, |

Upgrade wife's Toshiba laptop
Comment:
My wife has not been happy with her laptop since I bought it. It came with Vista and it was really lame. Windows 7 is much better but we still get BSOD errors from time to time. We did upgrade from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. |

Good value
Comment:
I bought this for my first scratch build and was not sure when I got it in if it would load or not. This is an OEM disc and says that it is for system builders only. I loaded the disc and away it went, no catches. Installed and is running fine. If you are building a system and want windows seven this is great bargian. |

So Far So Good
Comment:
I am using Window 7 for the Boot Camp partition on my MacBook Pro. I went from XP to 7 seamlessly. Aero adds some nice features. It seems like Microsoft combined the best of Win XP and Mac OS X in Windows 7. |

My fav OS since 98!
Comment:
While this does run admittedly slower than xp with the same hardware, I'm a big fan of the look and feel. It's about time I can get an OS that feels a bit newer and more up to date with technology. Also, a huge fan of the wallpaper randomization tool that's built in. |

Best Microsoft OS but nothing new.
Comment:
The software installed flawlessly and there have been no problems. Unlike Vista, W7 doesn't have all of the driver issues that gave Vista such a black eye. I don't see much new in W7, so would not recommend an upgrade from Vista or XP. Wait until you purchase a new computer do get W7. |

Not much different that Vista
Comment:
Overall, its such a waste of money. Just like Vista, it tries to prevent the user from doing routine, mundane tasks. The new home network settings are irritating for someone with experience setting up a real network. If you are a power user, spend the extra money for the Pro version. If you are an expert power user, stay with Win XP. |

The is the most stable, solid, and secure Microsoft OS release to date. Would definitely recommend to any PC enthusiast over XP. Actually runs faster on my i5 machine than XP does (including start up times). No reason for anybody to get the Ultimate edition unless you are looking to get specific features like BitLocker.
