Comment:
So I've had this remote for 3 years now. I had the Harmony 650 before and had to RMA it. I decided to get a 700 instead. I like the fact that the remote can be recharged through USB but it uses standard AAs instead. On a side note, all Logitech battery powered devices that I have came with Enloop batteries. Very nice !The devices database available on the software is impressive. I have all my home theater devices and my air conditionning as well programmed in the remote. I can control my Xbox 360 with it when watching movies (no need for the Xbox controller). It is also very easy to program using the Logitech software. The software is intuitive and have some in deep configuration such as delays and steps switching. The LCD is a very nice feature. I have put all the channels logo in the remote, therefore my kids can find easily Disney Junior by looking at the logo. My mother still can't understand the remote though... :)After 3 years, the paint on the buttons is wearing off. The backlight is now visible through the buttons. We use the remote a lot and with children, I understand that this can wear off. I would have expected to last a bit longer though to be honest.I like this remote and I will most likely buy another Harmony product when this one dies. Don't buy it at 100$. It comes on sales at 60$ often. Get it and you'll be happy.
