Have 4 x 2GB DIMMS, and they fit proper in and booted up the first time. No problems till about two months ago. Ordered 2 sticks at initial (May 2008), timings have been as described - 5-five-five-12. The second set I ordered came as 5-5-five-18 on the label... er, what? I didn't notice this till now, and it's not that large of a deal to me. But if you're an extreme enthusiast you'll of course really feel slighted. But then once again you may well not acquire this RAM in the first place. I have a suspicion that this RAM may be portion of a recent freeze/freezing problem I'm possessing -- specially for the duration of video playback, about 20-30 minutes in. Makes the pc nearly useless.But perhaps not.I individually tested each and every DIMM and they passed boot-up, except for one particular. Figuring it wasn't properly seated I pulled it out and attempted again, booted up ok.
