Quickly RAM for a fairly low-cost cost. None so far. I purchased this for my Lenovo W500. It came with 1GB of RAM (knowing that I could upgrade later for much, considerably less expensive than the company cost through newegg). Soon after getting utilized this for about a day or so, the speeds are blazing quick. Boot time has been cut quite short, and waking up from sleep/hibernation is almost instant. Wonderful RAM at a quite reasonable cost!

Excellent cost and I'm certain it would perform fantastic in something other than my Mac mini 2010 in Mac min 2010 this RAM would not function at all as a pair, just make a beep beep sound and no display. even when I tried it one piece at a time it would lock up. I was so excited to be obtaining this upgrade but I was sad to uncover that it was not going to perform even with all the appropriate stats. So I am going to have to return it. I know I read a post where this RAM was working in a new Mac mini, perhaps they just got lucky. Fast, affordable and compatible. DDR3 with low timings and an even lower cost. None As a hardware reviewer I take pride in recommending a piece of hardware that I deem worthy. I have always favored Mushkin RAM for their excellent and this set is no exception. I placed this set in my Lenovo T410 as a temporary remedy until an 8GB Mushkin set arrived and they never ever let me down.

Works fine in my Lenovo x200. None so far. Had to update my BIOS just before it would boot all the way up. Purchased my x200 in late 2008, and the BIOS didn't like the memory timings, so it would hang at the Intel network boot screen. That's potentially bad if you're not paying attention due to the fact the fans won't energy on in this state (though most CPUs will shut off ahead of they overheat these days). Just before updating your x200's BIOS, make positive you read all the warnings, especially if you're using Bitlocker and/or 64-bit Windows.

Performance was superb when it was working. RAM would consistently lock-up my late 2008 unibody MacBook upon reboot or wake from sleep.

I decided to go with Mushkin over Crucial memory simply because of the rebate give. I put it into my new 13" aluminum Macbook Pro. It was recognized instantly and works excellent. Would advocate it to anyone. none

price was superior on sale. it works usually a plus. I put it in a 2009 model mac mini. The mini runs fine. rebate is not instant. not able to do it with email only. have to cut the box apart and mail the upc to mushkin. along with the invoice copy. Often a P.I.T.A. to do so. Newegg has a massive selection of ddr3 memory. I have used essential and mushkin in 2009 mini's with total achievement. So whatever is lower price will function.

Great price࿐hr sale), easy to install on my unibody macbook, created it a little a lot more peppy, especially on reloaded apps. Excessive mailer envelope, seriously, i could fit five of them in there. Probably will order a different pair for my mac mini, i donated my macbooks 2gb to it, for those that purchased the 軷 Mini note that your ram is a single 1gb stick, and that only shares 128mb for video, if you add a second stick it doubles the video memory to 256mb. I seriously noticed that enhance. Now what to do with this added 1gb stick.

Inexpensive, rapidly. Unibody MacBook Pro runs a great deal faster with these chips than with the original 2gb. The new unibody macbook pros use 256 MB of ram for the integrated graphics chip even if you are running with the discrete graphics enabled.

Cost was correctQuality brand name NONE so far. I bought the ram to upgrade my unibody MBP from two to 4. It has been nothing short of outstanding. Make certain you have the tiny jeweller sized screwdriver for install although. Massive ole' thumbs up!Newegg rocks!

None Ridiculous percentage of defective modules allowed through good quality control. Just want to be as accurate as feasible so no 1 thinks I am merely bashing and so that Mushkin knows they need to have to do one thing:Of the 12 kits I nonetheless had readily available to deploy the day I wrote the previous evaluation, 5 full kits had been bad. That doesn't mean that's the way they came either. I tested every single and every DIMM individually. 3 of the difficulty DIMMS would not enable the laptop to even start off. Seven of the DIMMs had insanely high numbers of memory errors in Memtest. A lot of times there was only 1 defective DIMM in a package, sometimes each DIMMS were defective.Is there truly any excuse for this level of failure?

Installation was a breeze. Packaging was uncomplicated to open. No require to tear or get a pair of shears to open it (Con also). But most welcome is that it worked on the Macbook pro 13 w/o any problems it was plug and play. Util now no stuterring or even BSODs.I also bought it as a deal. kudos to Newegg!!! =) Even with the straightforward open packaging. It was shipped in a parcel pouch so little protection for one thing so fragile. It would be good to see an ESD bag or carton backing with the parcel. But it arrived secure so five stars it is. This memory i a superior option to the APPLE only Memory. i believe there need to be a hit or miss on this one. But it may take place for whatever product you purchase anyway. Haven't attempted any RMA but for new egg items. But it must be very good!

Works in my brand new 15" MacBook Pro. Less costly than paying for the subsequent model up. I have to save my old ram so I can put it back in if I ever have to have Apple fix it. Bought this and a Western Digital Scorpio Black WD3200BEKT to upgrade my MacBook pro.
