This was horrible
Comment:
I bought 3 of these because of the price...what a mistake. None of them worked worth a dime. They did connect and said they were connected at n speed, in reality they were slower than I remember dialup being. I have replaced them with the Sabrent dongles. Don't by the Netgear adaptors they use a seperate Netgear software, and it is horrible, buy an adapter that uses the windows wireless interface. |

Good Recertified Adapter
Comment:
I've bought many recertified adapter from netgear (WG,WPN and WN) all were junk but this one (WN111) really works great without disconnecting nor overheating and gave full speed 300Mbps. nice adapter |

Good product! Well worth it!
Comment:
I know I rate it at a 4 but that is my highest rating I will give any oroduct.(there is always something that could have been better. First off everthing was as discribed and price was fare. But the color and the exstintion cable were white and the item is big for its size. Black would show less and match most PCs better. |

Great Price, Great Product
Comment:
I bought this with a bit of skeptisism. But when it arrived, I downloaded the software from the Netgear site, plugged it in to my laptop, and WOW. I thought the laptop I use it on was slow just because it was old, but getting it up to N speed makes it work 100 times faster. The only thing I learned is to use the extension cable for the adapter, if plugged directly into the computer, it is wide enough it blocks the USB port next to it. But otherwise, it's an incredible product for the price. |

Not so good
Comment:
I kept losing connection after a few hours, had to reconnect a few time and then it didn't want to reconnect again unless I restarted my PC or unpluged the adapter. Communicated with Netgear support for a week, no fix. So, they asked me to return the adapter. |

As good as described.

Worked right away with XP after downloading driver from Netgear website & has more signal strength & Speed than the expensive adapter that I previously purchased from BB. |

Does the job
Comment:
Took a while to find the software from the Netgear site. But other than that, it does the job that it's intended for. For the price, I can't complain. |

Dropped Signal Vista Home Premium
Comment:
I have had a lot of trouble with keeping this thing connected. I have not found any known issues with this adapter to help troubleshoot, but its seems to be an issue with the driver. I continually get device errors, and have to disable then enable the driver in the device manager to get it to work. I am not pleased with this item. |

NOT TOO SURE
Comment:
THE DESCRIPTION SAYS WIRELESS N-BUT THE ADAPTER RUNS SLOW-JUST 20' FROM THE ROUTER. BUT FOR THE PRICE IT DOES CONNECT AND DOES GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY PURPOSES. THE ADAPTER GETS VERY, VERY WARM DURING OPERATION. ALSO THE ADAPTER CAME PACKAGED WITH A PIECE OF PAPER THAT SAID GO TO THE --MANUFACTURER-- WEBSITE FOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. BAD ADVICE. THE WEBSITE DOES NOT SPECIFY THE CORRECT DRIVER. DRIVER INSTALLATION WAS A SERIES OF INSTALL AND UNINSTALL BEFORE I GOT LUCKY. STILL FOR THE PRICE, I'M HAPPY. |

fast as lightning
Comment:
I enjoyed this product, it performed better than my previous cards which I have installed on both laptops which are running on the previous platforms of wireless adapters . I am achieving better speeds than what is allowed , I do plan to upgrade my whole network in the near future , I would recommend this to anyone whom may be looking just to upgrade and when I downloaded from site for software it didn't install as I may have downloaded the wrong version but even my operating system searched for it on the net and installed the right version so with this said you really can't go wrong, if you are wanting a better solution then I suggest something more to what you are looking for and what best suits what you are doing too when considering to upgrade or just get another product ...but I am happy with mine... |

works great
Comment:
I got this adapter to replace my pci wireless g adapter so I could stream video to my server connected to a 50 in plasma in the living room. With the g adapter, I couldn't even stream standard def across this network. With this wireless n adapter, i was able to stream 1080i without even a hiccup! Excellent product, would recommend to anyone. Also, you have to dl the drivers but not with win 7. |

Great Deal!
Comment:
Shipment arrived in two days and took 15 minutes to install (most of which was the software download). Great product and at a price you can't pass up. I already had a router so I could use my laptop around the house. This attached to my 10 year old desktop and eliminated a long coax running from the point cable entered out house and also slightly increased my speed on the old machine. |

Netgear ddrivers hard to find
Comment:
For recertified adapters one has to hunt down the correct drivers. Netgear does not prode much help in selecting the right one. I found 2 different drivers for North American usage; both were on the website at different locations. This after two days searching; only the second driver worked! |

Works
Comment:
I bought this Adapter to use as a back up. I tested it on several lap tops and XP, Vista, and Windows7 pro. The WN111 worked in all cases. The low price made well worth the try. |

nice
Comment:
since this is already used, it had some old sticker residue on it but doesnt matter, took 2 sec to clean and apart from that goes very well, i bought a netgear to go with my netgear router and i am very happy with to two. would be nice to be able to get 100% signal but my router is on second floor and my pc on first. |

Good price, eh adapter
Comment:
This adapter seems to work OK in G mode (and so is a pretty good buy for that purpose). I couldn't get anywhere near N speeds using this with my Netgear router. It gets noticeably warm, too. Note that it doesn't work with Windows 7. |

VPN: WN111
Poor Range.
