Received version 2. Went on Netgear site to load driver. Signal received is 130 Mbits with strenght 3 to 4 bars . Very satisfied for the price paid .

Worked right out of the box, Windows XP Pro configured it automatically. Only knit is that it shows a weaker signal than the built-in 802.11G, but it consistently gives over 100MBS to the router.

Beware. The item received is version 1 and nit version 2. Version does not have drivers for Windows 7 X64.

The only thing you need for this product is access to the internet to download the drivers software from netgear. They DO HAVE WIN 7 DOWNLOADS available. That is what I downloaded from the start. My hub is in the back of house behind a garage wall and the adapter is in the front of the house on the opposite side. No complaints whatsoever!

I really like this Netgear wireless adapter. My only objection is it needs to be pulled out of the usb and put back any time I need to restart my pc.

Works great for xp, if you have windows 7 there are no available software upgrades for this product.... looked on the website and none of the upgrades work for win 7...

works intermittently - overheats - has to be unplugged and let cool and then it works for a few hours. Thought the value was good but now that I need to buy another it was a waste because the recert program evidently does not do any sort of extended test. If it would have been tested for a couple hours it would have been scrapped.

works great for me so far. could have come with a stand for easier use with desktop. Did have to completely uninstall previous adapter and run a registry cleaner before I quit getting some error messages (worked fine even with those).

I purchased this to pair with a Netgear N router and get only a very low signal strength from about 40 feet away. There are some plaster walls in between, but my standard wireless card in my other laptop receives an excellent signal in the same spot.

works great, windows will install in minutes and set up. dont bother looking for software, windows finds it fast and accurately

I plugged this into my Vista Ultimate machine and it was up and running in no time. Setup was a piece of cake and it works well and consistently.

The product performs as stated.Would have appreciated that the required installation software be included rather than having to download from site. Since I had dial-up (the reason for purchasing this in the first place)it took more than 4 hours to download. Because my server times out after 4 hours, I was left to scramble to find someone with a faster internet access.Otherwise I have no complaints with the product. It serves my family well for typical uses such as banking, email, games. I was able to convert to MIFI and cancel my landline and dial-up service, a savings of about $125 a month.

The product was delivered on time but had problems insttalling. Product does not come with installation CD. After installing all drivers from website the adapter fails to function whne computer comes back from sleep. Averge speed was 108Mbps.

Wow, with Vista 64, all you do is plug it in and everything after that is automatic. Works very well as long as you have an available USB port. Cannot speak to range as it is only 20 foot from the hub and I use it on a desktop.

This caught my eye because it was a very inexpensive refurb. I figured it wouldn't be a great loss if I blew $19-ish on a dead product. It took me a while to get it to sync in secure mode with my Dlink, but that's primarily because I wasn't patient enough to thoroughly read all the web instructions. Now it's doing a great job and it was definitely a great price.

This is a good product that will hook up to win 7 with the right drivers. once configured works flawlessly.

It's quick, not 300 mbps fast, but fast. It might be my computer that is slowing it down. Very easy to install. Would buy one for a family member or friend.

At first I was skeptical about this wireless N adapter, I didn't believe they actually worked. But as soon as I plugged it in to a desktop computer on the top floor bonus room (wireless router is downstairs) my wireless speed on the desktop was between 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps!!! My laptop has regular G wireless adapter and it can only reach 50 Mbps at most, so the speed of the desktop was twice as fast! I was amazed! Great product, came on time even in the holidays, and will recommend it to anyone who has a Wireless N router! Thanks TigerDirect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the product was delivered in two days as expected. great features and very appropriate for my PC & My Router. Easy to install and has a great look. If Windows does not detect it, try downloading the driver from the Website and install it.

They had a special sale at $19.95 ea so I thought ''What the heck.'' I needed two and this was a cheap experiment. Arrived blister-packed but no CD. Used on Windows XP Pro and 2000 Pro systems and weren't recognized. Went to the company's website, which had three driver downloads. naturally I picked the wrong one (ver. 1). Tried the middle selection (ver. 2) and that worked. They have been working fine for the last month (Jan. '10).

Worked well out of the box. Could not determine the version so I did not upgrade the software. Don't know if it would help or not. Runs at 78Mbps and sometimes 104 using WRN2000 Router.
