Inexpensive, no cost shipping I bought two different orders of this product in the past year. I was getting complications with video noise (sparkles, flashing screens, and so on) when working with these cables to connect a WD Television Live + set-top box to my Samsung 1080p Television. Right after upgrading firmware and still getting complications with both samples of this cable, I changed to a true 24AWG, shielded cable from a different manufacturer, and the troubles went away. Although this cable is labeled "HDMI 1.3", it's extremely thin, inadequately shielded, with no ferrite cores, and is clearly inferior to cables I previously purchased from Newegg. It is definitely NOT "premium high efficiency" excellent.Newegg must withdraw this cable from sale, to prevent aggravating troubleshooting, and needless RMAs of the equipment it is connecting. HDMI cables don't need to expense hundreds of dollars, but they do need to meet minimum standards of construction to function at 1080p.

Not considerably to say, it's a simple cable. Works like it is supposed to, I purchased it to connect my DVD player to my HDTV. Picture quality is good, considerably much better than the old s-video connection I was utilizing and fewer cables. None The description clearly states that the product is 3ft. long. It's not newegg's or the manufacture's fault if you buy a cable that is too short.

The issue was somewhere between the screen and the couch. This is as excellent a cable to get as any other you see at NewEgg for additional. Give it a shot!
