Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:on my asus sabertooth x79 it went in good but its blocking some of my memory slots if u have memory with heat spreaders. have not tried a regular memory stick but it looks like it would fit but i would have to take the heatsink out. also blocks the pcie slot on it.

Pros:this is a big cooler that allows lots of airflow with the 2 fans and went together real easy
Comment:
good heatsink if you have the right motherboard. just watch for how close your ram slots and pcie slots are to your cpu

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:- Large, may cover ram slots (if it does, ram needs to have height of 44mm or less to fit under it)

Pros:- very quiet- keeps CPU nice and cool- easy to instal
Comment:
I bought this along with an MSI Big Bang Xpower II, and an Intel i7 3930k. It was very easy to install, only taking me a few minutes. It covers a few of the ram slots on the MB, but standard size DIMMs still fit underneath it. I was able to instal my Mushkin DIMMs just fine (prior to mounting this cooler of course!).Haven't tried overclocking yet, but running my 3930k at stock speed, I get idle temps (PC meter) around 30 degrees C. After running Intel Burntest for 30 minutes, temps were holding steady around 60 - 64 degrees (ambient room temp around 20).

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:none

Pros:low low temps, quiet
Comment:
This is a heck of a cooler, it really keeps the temperatures down. It moves a lot of air, and pretty reliable so far. If you have an overclocked system, then this is the cooler for you.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:None

Pros:Excellent cooling, essentially top of the food chain as far as air coolers or even most AIO water units. I know some people hate it, but I personally like the fan colors.Included thermal paste is actually quite good. I got better temps with it than AS5.
Comment:
Keeps my 1090T under 50c no matter what. Highest its gotten with this cooler, clocked to 4.2 under Prime95 was 48c; Fans were turned all the way up, of course. This cooler also runs quiet if you want it to, just plug in the resistors it comes with or use a fan controller. It's a beast, the cooler itself weighs nearly 3 pounds, and you'll probably need at least a chunky mid tower case to fit it. The top of it cleared the side fan on my HAF 922 by the thickness of a piece of paper; so for a comfortable fit a full tower case is nice. It's awesome in my HAF 932.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:It's pretty big, and doesn't give too much room to work with your system once it's installed.

Pros:Beast of a cooler, one of the best in its class
Comment:
Installation first of all.. while fuss free in theory, it wasn't as smooth of a job to do. The spring loaded screws are way too difficult to work with, and it took me ~30 minutes to get them to fit in correctly. I made sure initially to check compatibility with my RAMs, and it seemed to have enough room for it just like it said online, but i didn't expect the fan clips to get in the way of my video card. fortunately, I can create  the space by bending the excess clips a little inwards, but a little flawed by design. Cooling performance is apparently very good, but i don't have something to compare it with.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:FANS ARE SUPER UGLY. Doesn't match with my obsidian 800DSuper bulky and big.

Pros:Beats some pre-packed liquid cooling units by around 5 degrees Celsius. Great for semi-extreme overclockers, heard some people even OC'd it to 5ghz stable.Large surface area. More surface area = more, faster, better dissipation.very durable construction, noctua makes one of the best coolers out there.Price is good for OC'ers.Quiet fans, (120mm).
Comment:
Overall good cooler. Don't reccommend for non-overclockers. b/c that's just stupid if you don't overclock with it. As it is obviously designed for. Also for the quiet freak, without sacrificing performance. Need a large case like my obsidian 800D by corsair to fit this monster.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:This thing is large. Very large. Beware if you have RAM with heatsinks that extend more than a couple mm above their boards, as they may not fit underneath this cooler's heatsink. Expect it to occlude four of the eight memory slots on a typical LGA 2011 board.

Pros:This cooler does the best job of all the air coolers I have ever used while managing to remain incredibly quiet.
Comment:
In the event you need a LGA 2011 mounting bracket Noctua are happy to ship one to you. Just look for its part number, NM-I2011, on their website and fill out the form the page links to.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:Large & heavy, need low profile ram on X79 motherboard.

Pros:Quality construction, quiet, cools well
Comment:
This is probably the best air cooler on the market. The mounting hardware is top notch, it runs very quiet and cools effectively. My 3820 at 4.6 ghz runs 65-70C when smp folding. .

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:Very big. Will not fit some cases. Barley fits inside a Silverstone TJ07. Fan retention clips can make contact with PCB of video card. Will not work with some mobos.

Pros:Disapates heat very well. Quiet if using motherboard's fan control.
Comment:
I bought this cooler to use for testing a 3960X system until water cooling parts are configured. The cooler works well for an air cooler as I was able to clock the 3960X as high as 5249mhz with it.A draw back is that if your #1 PCI-E slot is directly below the cooler, the fan retention clips can make contact with the video card occupying slot 1. This was the case using the NH-D14 on an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard. I had to wrap the clips with electrical tape to prevent shorting. Also, this cooler is such a colossal, it just barley fit inside a TJ07 case. There will be issues using this cooler on X79 systems with tall DDR3 memory sticks such as Corsair Dominator GT. I used some RipJawsZ and the outside fan cooler rests on top of the first memory modual.

Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 Heatpipe Cooler W/ 140MM & 120MM PWM Fans
Cons:- Freakin HUGE

Pros:+ Best air cooler out there+ Great price
Comment:
I've used the LGA 1366 version of this in the past and it's simply amazing. It blows about of the water (pun intended) every single pre-made of closed loop liquid cooling solution out there. Only way to beat it is with a custom 700-800 system. Runs silent and keeps a Core i7 3930k at around 30C idle (about 10C cooler than a Corsair H100, which is LOUD)Only thing is, it's quite large so be sure to have a full tower in order to fit this thing. I know everyone before me has already said that it's big but there's no hard in emphasizing it - it really is that big.

Cons:- Pretty big (can be difficult to uninstall it)

Pros:- Great performance for a fan cooling- Very quiet- Very solid- Easy to install
Comment:
This fan cooling is one of the best I ever used! Very quiet, and great cooling performance! I recommand it for people who don't want to do a watercooling kit, and want a near close performance than a watercooling.
