I purchased this telephone for my husband, he loves it... It is unlock version, and right now we are utilizing it in Europe with Orange the reception is good clear calls. It is really easy to use and its tough - nice touch... No problems with the applications, we downloaded fring so we can use msn and skype. Ideal now he has no use for his old PDA every little thing got dump in to that phone, and the tiny camra is just a cherry on leading... the only con is there is no transfer cable and no micro SD card... other than that good buy.... good telephone... good value and excellent service at newegg...

Battery life appears excellent so far. Programming is uncomplicated and the manual is uncomplicated to read and understand. It often wigs-out trying to scan for networks.

Nokia generally tends to make fantastic phones. Newegg states in the Nokia E63 specifications that it is HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbps). Nokia USA (follow manufacturer item link) states that the E63 is WCDMA (up to 384kbps). That's about 1ቦ of the cellular upload/download speed of the HSDPA regular. I trusted Newegg and what it stated on its web site. I produced my choice to buy the E63 based on the phone possessing HSDPA. I discovered out that it did NOT have it just following my acquire (in an post that compared the E63 to the E71). Don't make the similar mistake - if upload/download speed matters to you then be aware the E63 will be slow compared to cell phones with the HSDPA information transfer normal. Newegg has constantly been a great organization from which to purchase - I hope it makes fantastic on its error.

Fantastic Battery life, when applied on gsm network mode. Good size, weight, feel. Excellent Wifi, easy to use. Good house screen for navigation and notifications. Camera could be a tiny greater, but nevertheless decent for a telephone. I also bought an otterbox imact case for this and it makes it even superior, as far as feel and protection goes.

Complete of functions, fair/good wi-fi detection, telephone calls fair/good, lighting good, mp3 player very good, video play excellent. I've been working with my E63 for 2wks and I am mildly impressed; for the functions and the value. RM software program is poor and does not play all mpeg4 files, did not contain any memory (microSDHC) - had to obtain an 8G card, not true to speak 3G; it's really EDGE limited downloads

Very Very good Smartphone for a very low price tag. All the essentials for daily tasks & play are all in there. Oh! you have to purchase the games from download, but they are low cost anyway. No GPS but you can connect with the other gadget. Camera pretty weak, but for the price & the rest of the functions, it is worth buying.

Great telephone to commence with if you are not use to symbian phones specially if you are in the states. This phone is pretty good had to download microsoft exchange and google aid with me setting up the sync for google contacts and calender. The flash on the camera is great especially when it comes to utilizing it as a flashlight. I would advocate this product to everyone. Newegg is good for the cost at present havent noticed any other areas that have costs lower for this phone than right here. The browser knowledge is incredibly great uncomplicated to use and for a telephone that does not have HSDPA its pretty rapid. Most likely since Nokia did not place genuinely any crapware on it. The qwerty keyboard was type of tough to get use to at 1st, but that due to the fact I am not use to working with a single in portrait as opposed to landscape on slider phones. Flick instead of Picasa is the only choice to post pictures directly to the net, so you have to send them by e-mail. If it seems like your sim card is not going in it almost certainly since its not aligned properly. Even even though I got this from someplace for a more affordable price newegg is a wonderful place to get this from. I will say again right now actually there is no place to get this phone from for lower than 赝.99. Just glad I had great timing to get this for lower.

Cost, form factor, great wi-fi range, bright display even in direct sunlight awkward operating program, really poor manual, battery life is so-so If you are just going to use is out of the box as a phone it is a excellent deal. But if you want to do anything much more invovled (synchronize with outlook using bluetooth, or customize the interface and so on) you are in for headaches. The paper manual is quite poor, and the Nokia internet site is not significantly assist. The symbian o/s is awkward and there are relatively handful of apps obtainable. Not suggested for everyone above a basis user.

Can take a brief fall. Somewhat intuitive navigation. Decent camera. Not a negative tiny telephone for the price. Music player took a dump a few weeks following shopping for it. Can nonetheless play person songs by way of file manager. Mac software is not incredibly intuitive and tough to use. Navigation can be slow at instances. Trying to make an emergency telephone call to a person in your contacts list can take a few angered seconds. If its all you can afford, go for it... but if you can save up a handful of much more dollars, try to come across a far better phone.

So many features packed into a little, substantial feeling device. Couldn't discover a actual competitor in this price tag range. Fantastic reception for phone calls. Love the WiFi. The maps plan is super and cost-free (no talking GPS included). Good entertainment features. Availability of accessories in nearby stores (internet takes care of this extremely well)A little complex with regards to discovering all of the SW on the net to download and install to use included capabilities (OVI, Nokia Suite, etc.). It's all there, may possibly be a challenge for some to come across and ascertain the way ahead. My 1st SmartPhone. Have a number of PDA and Cells, just by no means combined. This telephone offers a incredibly nicely balanced blend among the two. Battery life is outstanding. This is a super product therefore far.

For what you get this is an superb phone for the value. Browsing over 3G isnt as quickly as wifi but its quite acceptable. Speaker and loudspeaker quality are superior, as is reception. The keyboard is rapidly and responsive, I have not had any laggy text input as reported by other people. There are a ton of custom themes and applications for S60v3, and installing new ones is simple. Its the similar computer software and rapidly chipset thats in the E71, sans GPS. Seamless integration with the microSD. Decent camera quality in well-lit scenarios. Superb calendar/organizer that you can set alarms with. Fully customizable household screen and menu icon layouts. My favored feature, by far, is the flashlight button. This is the single greatest "DUH!" addition to a telephone that is amazingly handy - a lot of individuals i know currently use their phones' screen in the dark and this LED takes it to the next level. Its not too useful as a camera flash but its the ideal integrated flashlight you'll ever have. You can not disable the camera sound unless you use the silent profile. Even when you disable flash, the LED nevertheless lights up slightly as an indicator when a picture is taken. I understand the law in some nations state that the camera sound have to be forced on, but not in the USA.I would have appreciated it if they stuck with the mini usb connector rather of going with micro USB. Also cant charge over USB.It appears that when in dual network mode ƓG+GSM) the telephone defaults voice calls and information to 3G although in the presence of each services. I was hoping that it would automatically spot calls on GSM for the longer talk time even though being in a position to standby on 3G for the greater standby time. The way it is right now if i want longer talk time I have to force it to use GSM and then switch back more than to 3G when I want faster world wide web access. I've emailed Nokia on this and I'm hoping that its not beyond the capabilities of the telephone to have an automatic setting. No distracting and power wasting menu animations- if you want to show off some effects, download the Nokia Photo Browser. Battery life is superior, I've been receiving 2-3 days between charges throughout moderate use. If you carry on extended conversations you may want to use GSM and switch back to 3G when you need data, as GSM talktime is much more than double that of 3G on this telephone ྪ hrs vs 4 hrs). Update your firmware with Nokia Software program Update, v400 is out now (you want a micro USB cable for this).I in no way liked the feel of the iPhone and other touch screens, most of them lack a actual keyboard and I cant stand typing on a touch screen. The E63 has a wonderful keyboard and is of trustworthy construction (not a slider telephone or flip telephone).Overall, this is an an exceptional communications device. Its not some app or media player with a phone tacked on. Even even though this is my 1st Symbian phone, it nonetheless has that familiar Nokia really feel to it: its created to do its job well.

I had to make myself wait for a couple of months before writing a assessment so my new toy excitement would go away. I nevertheless really feel as satisfied with the phone as I did when I first purchased it. Good keyboard, built in e-mail support with automatic new message notification for gmail (which I use) and other key providers. It comes with MS exchange software program so you can sync your google contacts and calendar with the phone's native calendar/address book which is possibly the greatest factor ever. The 3g undoubtedly functions with AT&T. The built in nokia web browser is good and if you require the desktop version of the online you can install Skyfire. The telephone has integrated SIP assistance so you can use voip more than wifi straight from your phone book if you want to. You can have various programs open at 1 time and copy/paste among them. Battery life is fantastic. This is an unbelievable phone for the price. Once in a while I need to restart the phone to get it back into prime speed. I have a constant stream of data going at all times and I usually have a browser window open in the background for texting more than google voice. The browser combined with close to continuous downloading of new e-mail messages appears to bog the telephone down immediately after a couple of days. Often sooner if I am installing/uninstalling new programs. I wish this telephone had full gps, suitable now google maps puts my location within .five mile of exactly where I am, from time to time it is spot on. As far as unlocked phones go, this is the greatest phone you are going to get for this price. I will definitely be checking out more feature wealthy and far more high-priced phones in the future but for now I couldn't be happier with this telephone.

1. It's good to have Wi-Fi. 2. Operation system is acceptable once get employed to it. three. Battery life is great: 2ӯ days with heavy wi-fi using, 9 days when idle. 1. Common signal strength on Rogers network. No signal when in a elevator at initially floor.2. Loose back cover at the top rated two corners.3. There is a gap beneath left soft essential, among the face frame and the body. I can really feel and hear the gap moving when I press the soft important. I received this telephone on Could 7. I love it so far since I focus more on the function. Even so, if you care about the "feel" of a telephone in your hand, please be careful of this phone. I think items 2 and 3 in "cons" above are induced by poor style when Nokia just copied the common idea from other models(E71?) which was created for METAL covers/frames. It's unique story when altered to plastic.

My initial intelligent telephone. The interface is truly nice; it took me only an hour to set it up and find out how to use it. I am using AT&T wireless, and I just put in my SIM card and it worked automatically when I turned the phone on. I get excellent reception and signal strength. The keyboard is comfortable to use for sending a ton of messages per day. The screen is clear and refreshes promptly. I love the wifi feature; it's simple to find and connect to wireless networks. Nice customizable profiles. This is a wonderful telephone for perform. It's predominately plastic on the outside. I'll require a case for it. Shipped a day early.

Not these lame usb head phone cra*.Does Podcast, Mp3, Pdf, youtube, facebook, myspace, camera, can use the flash as a mini flashlight, ect.....Good raised keyboard.Does not use windows mobile :) What do you expect? Its and older model. But does a fantastic job.Ʀ. camera.*Cannot charge via micro usb.*Dont use it as a pdf reader. Hurts my eyes.*Had trouble playing SOME m4v files. It will play its audio but with SOME vidcast it will play its video.*Uses real player to play videos. Wish there had been more third party video player options.*Remember this ain't touch screen. Fine by me because I hate touch. Right after getting both my HTC phones die horrible unexplainable deaths ( Shadow keys and navi button failed and Dash screen just cracked and broke ), I decided to ditch this low-cost eye candy brand and switch back to basics. I enjoy this telephone. It has all the features, which each my past earlier phones cannot do, that I've been seeking for. If my e63 had been in a gang fight with my earlier HTC's, it would beat each of them down at the very same time. Then wear their screens, like a mask, and recreate a scene from Hannibal. For an older model phone, it nonetheless does a terrific job.

Very good WiFi connectivity, Superior Battery Life, Functions w/Skype, Excellent rugged feel. I picked up the UI fairly quickly. Can't charge thru micro USB port....need to have special cable. I purchased a Duracell charging cable program as a perform around. I was spcecifically searching for WiFi capability and the capacity to use Skype with no getting to obtain a information plan from AT&T and the E63 has worked out wonderful. The E63 from Newegg came with the most up-to-date firmware and has worked great. I don't use any of the carrier services except GSM for voice, so I can't comment on those. I added an Otterbox skin/case which is also wonderful.

I got this telephone for my small brother who's going in to high school. I have a blackberry bold (which I like), and he wanted some thing with similar capabilities. Due to the fact our plan was up going through AT&T was out, so I began shopping about and located this. It was challenging to believe at very first, but you actually do get all of the amazing characteristics for such a low value with out a contract. His phone does about as properly as my telephone at just about almost everything. WiFi is a excellent function, as is camera with a flash and a solid media player. I'm incredibly impressed. Not quite as good of a UI as the bold, but definitely workable.

A 3G phone with bluetooth, camera, video recorder, organizer, calendar. Easy to add apps. EA's Tiger Woods. Poor music player (takes common headphone jack though), challenging to adjust volume. Tiny keys. Also not the greatest web browser in the world. T-mobile customer. Overall, I'm pleased with the E63. It does a small of almost everything for a reasonable value. It was a snap to connect through wi-fi. If you program on utilizing prepaid/skype, it's easy. Note that the buttons are modest, this is coming from a fairly tiny guy. Saw it advertised for less at a competitor that has ads in Friday circular.
