I was expecting something great and I got something even greater. obiously you want to have minium light exposure. so best thing is not to be near a window also you want to have a good graphics card i use a gtx 250 and a monitor with 120 hrtz as you all know. but i would recommend holding off on it until you have atleast the a high end graphics card so you can make everything pop! i love these glasses.

Expensive but fun
Comment:
Pros: Comfortable. Very good 3d parallax. Little to no ghosting. Rechargeable. 15 plus feet wireless signal. Cons: Biggest rip off. Kitsch like VW. These should be under 100 bucks and not include 3 different types of display cables. If you have a 400 dollar monitor, you have a DVI cable. Drivers Wig out my display-set up. Had to to start up in safe mode to uninstall the entire NV suite twice. Currently: Acr GD235HZbid NV GTS 260 940 Black 6gb DDR2 800 Win7pro64

Really good!
Comment:
Good product! Work really fine, amazing to play with these glasses! Be aware, cause me little eyestrain, not a lot but enough to make me play more without the glasses then with them. Little point, you may have to raise the brightness level of your screen because the glasses make everything darker. Finally, I really enjoy it, my friends too, but I don't think that you will always wear it when you play. PS : Make a good impression in a LAN party!

Good but
Comment:
Very nice glasses, a little difficult to wear with headphones, and I wish that there were more movies that were stereoscopic. The games seem to be very good, Avatar demo was great. FPS games are difficult to play going from 2D where the sight is right in front of you to 3D where you are looking into the screen at the iron sight. I have not tried a sniper scope yet. Happy with what I got.

Stunning but room for improvement
Comment:
Excellent product quality - batteries last forever, installation a breeze! glasses are kind of heavy though, but they do fit over prescription glasses; 3D quality heavily dependent on game - CoD4, Fear, FarCry are stunning (you won't want to go back to 2D anymore!) but others (BioShock, Oblivion) need to have important visual effects turned off or else it will be way too distracting; Note: ONLY works with 120Hz screens, Nvidia graphics card!

Good for 3D-lovers, but not the ultimate solution.
Comment:
I've used shutter glasses for a long time now, so this purchase was an upgrade rather than a new investment. Overall, the package is great. nVidia has always been an excellent supporter of stereoscopic gaming, and this package reflects that dedication. Flicker problems are null with 110-120Hz refresh rates, but may cause ambient lights to blink (120Hz is a harmonic of AC 60Hz). However, the box and accessories included in this package are some of the best I've seen. Ghosting is still existent, but only in the presence of pure whites (rare for today's gray-heavy games). The glasses are comfortable, although still a bit heavy, and not headphone-friendly. Also, there is a bit of discoloration along the edges of the lenses. Game support remains limited, but is growing rapidly. Be prepared for a lot of tweaking with the settings. Overall, highly recommended for those that want to take their gaming experience to the next level.

Good, but ambient light is a problem
Comment:
After 2 days of use, here is my family's take; Good Overall Design, works well with 120 hz DLP TV and MultiMedia Center Games, 3D Movies look stunning with this. Only negatives are ambient light causes lenses to stutter some so a nearly dark room or very close use is required. Second negative is the storage pouch could have been more robust at this price point, overall good purchase.

Amazing Graphic Innovation
Comment:
I have been using Nvidia's 3D Vision setup for approx. 1 year now running Windows Vista 64bit. All I can say is this product will change the way you game forever. It is truly an amazing no flicker, no ghosting, Hi-Def gaming experience. This concept has been around for some time, however it never really worked till now as it was always used as a passive technology. Nvidia is using an active approach, which basically means that the IR emitter is sending 60Hz alternately to each eye to give you the 3D illusion. Hence you need a 120Hz monitor. Also check Nvidia site out for proper graphic cards and also they have a list of games that work from poor to excellent. The good ratings are okay and the excellent ratings are just that. I have just finished Dragon Age and the 3D takes you to another level. Truly Amazing. You will not be dissappointed with this product as long as you do your research.

Good investment
Comment:
I purchased this product because I love 3d and because I heard raving reviews about the quality. The quality of these glasses are very high. Its solid and feels great on my face. I still think the technology is a bit expensive considering the lack of 3d-ready games. Also, its not for someone who doesnt like to tinker with settings because each game has to be set to your personal liking. Also, a negative that I did not think would affect me is that my eyes get fatigued and ache after just a short while, so there is an adjustment period. Personally I would wait until the price goes down but its a neat concept and hopefully the future will pay dividends for supporting the technology

Great product
Comment:
I bought these 3D glasses and used them with a Mitsubishi 42 inch screen and XP operating system. This combination provides a great 3D view with an amazing virtual depth and vivid colors. We use them for scientific visualization and they are definitely the best option for stereo vision I have tried so far.

WOW!
Comment:
I tested the nvidia 3d vision in a electronic store last year and I've been dying for these. Now I can tell you that it was definitely worth it. I bought the package that TD offers with the Samsung monitor, nvidia 3d vison and a EVGA GTX 275 for $640. So I got the glasses for practically free, I gotta say I don't think I would have spent 600$ on just a monitor and glasses, but the GPU made it worth it. The 3d looks great! They're not kidding when they say that you get into the game a lot faster and add 5.1 surround sound with it and your IN the game!

Excellent!
Comment:
This technology is amazing. I run vista 64 bit professional, 2 GTX 260 GPU SLI, Core i7 2.66GHz. No problems whatsoever but you have to have the know-how to change resolutions, depth, etc. To use these glasses anytime, all you have to do hit hit ctr-T to change from 2D to 3D. Previous poster is correct; I could not use the most-updated driver but this is not a problem--afterall, I bought these to play games! So far, Half life, half life 2, half life 2 eps 1, Civ 4, and Res Evil 5 are all amazing in 3d! I ordered on Thurs night from New York City; arrived the following Monday. Thank you!

Works well for some
Comment:
I bought this because I wanted to see the technology in action. It works fairly well with many games and for most people is quite immersive. Unfortuneatly I have 'high-res' vision and I can sometimes see the flickering of a florescent light even when it is working normally. This means I can see a ghost image of each perspective in the wrong eye which leads it to look like three total images. My friends who have tried it say they don't see it which is why I think it is because of differences in the way that I see. So, be wary of that and check to see what games work the best before deciding to buy this. If you have a chance to try it out before buying that would be the best.

A second life to your existing game set.
Comment:
This kit does exactly what I expected it to, puts a new twists on existing games for a more immersive experience. I use this with a 60" mitsubishi DLP and its quite something. Things don't come out of the screen, however its like looking out of a window in a 3d world. A few experiences I've encountered however: I initially had a 9800 GTX video card, my first tests were fallout 3 and dark messiah of might and magic (both rated as excellent by nvidia for 3d vision purposes). I simply could not have playability at 1920 by 1080 resolution (the game would work ok for several minutes, then go into constant stutter mode, even with minimal eye candy). Upgrading to a GTX 275 fixed that problem. Also, avoid (bright) lighting in the path between receiver and glasses as it seems to throw off the connectivity.

Nice Stereo Effects
Comment:
These glasses are a great buy, they work with most of the newer games and completely change the gaming experience. I personally dug out old games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 to play in 3D, and its amazing. The only issue I had with the glasses was that the drivers for my video card were newer than the ones the 3D vision would support, so i actually had to install old drivers to get these glasses to work properly. The ability to change the depth on the fly is very nice, and when stereo-video becomes readily available these glasses will be excellent for viewing 3D movies. A tip for looking into games for this: If you can tell the difference between 2d and 3d textures, these glasses will not have an effect on the 2d textures, since there is no depth in them to start off. HUDs in many FPS games are 2d, and wont change depth. Also, some older games don't work properly with the glasses, and you need to deactivate the stereo 3D to make them work. There's only so much this technology can do,

A Whole New Gaming Experience.
Comment:
The NVIDIA 3D Vision Glasses bring an impressive ''new'' feeling to many games, providing *depth* within gaming environments and bringing your senses into an even more immersive atmosphere. I will say that 3D vision is not to be confused with VR, but it is fresh and captivating none-the-less. The amount of time it takes to forget about surroundings and get sucked in while playing a game is shortened *significantly.* It's very bizarre while playing a familiar game and realizing I now had to focus my eyes on things in the distance, or as they approach (rather than having everything in focus all at once on a flat screen). There have been multiple occasions where I've ''jumped'' while playing Oblivion and Fallout 3 as things quickly screech towards my ''face''; and there's something sickly gratifying about having the blood splatters really feel like they're sticking to my goggles. It really is an awesome non-gimmicky new gaming experience.

Questionable
Comment:
I must say World of Warcraft is amazing with the glasses. I was enjoying the blades of grass in my face and the particles and such, then I realized I had been dead for 5 minutes while I was focusing my attention on the ''3Deffects'' haha. HOWEVER!! Nvidia flat out lied about the OpenGL support. If you plan on playing Second Life don't even bother with this setup. It does not work and Nvidia customer support sucks!!! They will not even respond to my simple question which was: ''Will the glasses ever work with SecondLife?'' You stand a better chance at sending an email to the Pope and getting a response. So don't even bother. If you are not a company like EVGA or BFG Nvidia will not even take the time to respond to you......

Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision Kit
Comment:
Make sure you have all the requirements...I would recommend SLI even if you meet minimum requirements due to low frames per second when games get busy in 3D and SLI helps maintain good performance. Only issue I had was the setup went as expected but I didn't get the 3D popout until contacting support and them running me through the setup again and BAM...Amazing! Some games take a little work getting the depth and brightness for your own personal experience and preference and other games don't work at all...make sure to check Nvidia's list of games supported. Final thought: I already had the computer and the DLP compatible TV so this would not even be a second choice I would do it all over again for the price.

I went with the Win XP 64 bit O/S so had to send these back as only Vista is supported... and NVIDIA will only support them if there is a demand for them with XP... so far no demand

Used the glasses with a 8800 ultra and CRT monitor. Some games don't work at all like Burnout Paradise, others only work at low resolutions... something to keep in mind for anyone that has a CRT.. they usually only do 120hz at low resolutions. Other games like Assassin's Creed and Left 4 Dead just look simply AMAZING! For games that work well it really looks like a next level of video game graphics that you've never seen before. If game developers focus on making games work well with this technology... this will really be the the next big step in video gaming evolution.
