The replacement drive was slightly smaller than the original one, so I couldn't use my method image backup and had to reinstall every little thing from scratch. Total method down time: virtually one month! If I had returned it by means of Newegg I could have had the replacement next day instead of waiting nearly a month. The only reason I didn't feel of that was that I'd cut the UPC off the box to get the rebate (which had to be sent inside 21 days of the invoice date).
