I recently installed this powersupply for a friend. It went in the case no problem, worked like a charm and had all the connections you could hop for. The instructions however were horrible, so only buy this power supply if you know what you're doing. |

This is a very quiet PS; I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about unless the fan speed ramps up as you put more load on the machine.The first unit I received was DOA but NCIX customer support was very helpful and cross-shipped me a new one before I sent the old one back. |

Way too noisy...seriously, I can hear the fan when I am upstairs and the computer is located downstairs. To give you an idea as to distance, I can hear it in my kitchen and you have to pass through the dining room to get to the stairs to the basement where the computer sits on a desk on the opposite wall! That is VERY NOISY! My original power supply was dead silent and only kicked in during Flight Sims. I went from a 300 watt PS to this and can not see any improvement in performance.Cable bundles are too long for a small chassis. Too bad this PS doesn't offer cable lengths for different sized chassis. |

Cons:The power cord is loose, if you touch it slightly, the computer will turn off and back on. Not that big of a problem if you don't touch the power cord.

This is a pretty good powersupply. I've got a 3.7GHz E6600, a heavily overclocked 8800GTX, 6 HDDs, 4GB of ram, 5 120mm fans, 1 92mm fan, 2 Antec SpotCools and my MCP655-B all running perfectly fine. Getting this powersupply into my case was a real PITA. If your case has one of those weird boxes around the PSU (like my Stacker), I would strongly recommend a different powersupply as teh fan grill sticking out on this makes it very hard to install. |

This is a great ps, the cords are easily managable when assembling in a case and there is very little sound from the fan. I am powering it with a E8400 SLI set up and have had no problems yet. I would definately buy again, this is my second OCZ ps unit and I have had no issues with either of them.
