OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
Not reliableBrand
Pros: Price Affordable Comment:
I ran MemTest86+ software to test this memory, it reports over 1500 errors, I guess it is not as reliable as other brands. If you got lucky and you may get away with its lower price. |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
not as stable as other brands, possible quality control issues
Pros: cheap price, compared to other brands Comment:
I bought these to use with a core i7 system. So far no problems, but these are definitely not the best ram out there in this category. I just bought them because they were cheap. However, they don't seem to be that stable and I hesitate to try overclocking them. Next ime around, i'll probably go with another brand for a bit more, but the price is still hard to beat when it's on sale. |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
-May be unstable on your system-If it seem to work, you have to set your BIOS manually to set the timings, voltage, etc...-Doesn't seem to be stable on my Asus P7P55D-E LX board!
Pros: -Maybe slightly less latency than other kind of RAM for the same price-Shiny heat-spreader already installed Comment:
I pretty much did all the tests i could on my new PC, Memtest86+ (latest version) found no error after a complete scan, so the problem might be the memory getting in conflict with my main board. Strange thing is this memory is supposed to be especially made for the Lynnfield platform, which i have (Core i5 750)Problems i seem to have with this memory:-During Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit installation, i had 1 unknown error which aborted the installation. This happened once.-After installing Windows, when trying to download the latest patches for it, most of them would fail, after a reboot, it might fail in applying/configuring Windows, rolling back to the previous configuration.-In 3D games, it might hand/froze for a few seconds, and then might just crash the game with a black screen, and an error message from Windows saying something about the Display driver stopped responding.Keep in mind i have enough cooling in this computer, nothing overheats. After all the tests i did, everything points out that the RAM is the cause of all the problems i had.As someone said on another memory review, don't go cheap on memory, and i would suggest to look at a different more reliable brand. |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
-Compatibility-Read summary
Pros: -Price (when on sale) Comment:
Many mobos tend to run these at 1066 by default. Only after a few google searches did I realize you had to manually adjust the voltage for my particular mobo to get it running at the advertised 1333I've had a couple of BSoD that may or may not be due to these modules, I have a hunch it was but I never confirmed it due to the occurrence being quite rare |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
unstable
Pros: Looks goodeasy install Comment:
had issues with computer. The computer would keep crashing on startup (and during windows install). I tested both sticks individually, and one was not working properly. Managed to run the system stable with one stick until my RIPJAWS came in. I would not recommend these for AMD processors. |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
-uses 1.65V but intel 1156 defaults at 1.5V -there are more efficient rams available for a little more money
Pros: -cheap $$-once configured properly it'll run stable Comment:
I wished I did a bit more research before taking the plunge on this set of rams. Had a lot of stability issues with these rams, had to do quite a bit of tweaking in bios to get the system up and running. Would not recommend to beginners like myself |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
Plenty of memory failures.
Pros: Absolutely no strength. Comment:
We bought 2 sets of 2x2Gb of this OCZ memory, and in another order we also bought one set of 2x4Gb.100% of the memory we bought had problems. They all had severe memory errors when we diagnosed them with a memory test program. In the case of the 2x4Gb DIMMs, they were just not working in dual channel, leading to significant loss of performance.DO NOT BUY THIS. THE ODDS ARE YOU WILL END UP WITH DEFECTIVE DIMMs. |

Cons:

Pros: Cheap and fast. Comment:
Bought this with Gigabyte P55A-UD3 ATX LGA1156 mobo. No problems with installation. I decided to go with the cheapest ram. I haven`t tried OC`ing it as there`s no need to do so at the moment. A great buy. |

Cons:
none at the moment
Pros: Lifetime Warranty, Price and overall performance Comment:
Working on a budget-middle ranged PC for myself, I needed something that had the performance and the price. I think out of all the different brands, this set of OCZ fits both what I needed without too much out of my wallet.I expect things to work out of the box and it has met that expectation. |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
first set 1 module was DOA...RMA'd it. Second set came in 1 module was DOA again. So out of 2 sets I seem to have a working 4GB pair now.
Pros: looks great, performs well when you get a set that both modules work Comment:
If you get a set that both modules work out of the box then it's excellent, if not RMA and pray! Express RMA is recommeded on this purchase just in case |

I bought this ram for my mom's budget build. It is very stable, I overclocked it to 1400 mhz without any problems. This is a very good ram if not lemon like others say. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-17-10 04:03 PM |

Cons:Read reviews of this memory not playing well with others. Unsure if it is an issue.
Pros:installed without a hitch. Asus mobo already had the timings right. Comment:
Bought this as part of a Core i5 system build. Memory seems to work just fine. Have not tried to OC it yet, but will likely try when I OC the i5 later in the future. Weekly sale and MIR sealed the deal! |

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:- None that I can think of
Pros:- Best price by a good 10-20% after mir for DDR3-1333 Comment:
I purchased this ram to go with an Intel Q8200 and Asus P5G43T-M Pro. When I initially ran memtest86 on the ram with default settings (auto spd), both sticks came up with various errors. But once I set both sticks manually to CL 9-9-9-20 in dual channel mode and memory voltage set to 1.65v, both sticks passed memtest perfectly.Taking off one point because I had to set the latencies and delays manually. In this day and age everything should be automatic! :) |

Cons:I think it has probems with Assus motheboards?..acts weird with my M3N78-VM
Pros:good, fast, cheap ($80). Comment:
This is a fast ram, as we as being affordabe once on special. though it acts weird with my Assus M3N78-VM, but somehow fixed itsef so might just be me/viruses. |
Quite cheap on sale. Works with my Sempron 140. Looks nice. It's OCZ so I'm not sure if I'll get my mail in rebate but even without it, the price is quite good.
