Works as Advertized
Comment:
Put 8 GB in an Intel motherboard with i5 cpu. No issues. Windows 7 Home Premium works like a champ. Very fast. Downside - Bought this RAM for the 20 dollar manufacturer's rebate. Rebate was denied because |

great
Comment:
this ram is good. despite the bad reviews i to was hesitant on buying. but i took the chance. did have to go into BIOS and change the DIMM volts to 1.65v though at 7-7-7-16. sweet deal. |

BAD Ram, Failed RAM diagnostics
Comment:
Installed Windows 7 Pro, constant bluescreens, ran several memory diagnostics test, Failed every time. Returning for an RMA. but as of right now not a happy camper... considering both sticks were bad, not good odds. Now the $20 mail in rebate isn't looking so great with all this hassle and shipping charges. |

Junk RAM
Comment:
Tried to be cheap and bought this RAM because of the price. It kept crashing my system and when I ran Microsoft memory test the ram failed. I had to return them back to the store and got Kingston instead. Best of all the Kingston RAM defaulted to the correct speed (1333)unlike the OCZ advertised speed. |

Works as intended
Comment:
The RAM works as intended, though I find it a bit weird that it identifies itself to BIOS as default clock 1066 .. the ID name contains OCZ1333 despite this. Works fine overclocked to the speed it's sold as. |

Good product - Great Price
Comment:
Comparable RAM kits were around $100. I was able to find this for $100 with a $20 mail-in rebate. Yes, we all hate rebates (as do I), but that made it worth it. So far, it's working 100%. Got a windows index score of 7.5 on the RAM portion with just these 4GB :). |

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
This ram is garbage
Pros: The only strength would be the plastic packaging is quite good. Comment:
After spending far too long attempting to acertain the reason for random restarts I eventually underclocked this memory in order to prevent the issue. Memtest passed it so its even more of an insult that only trial and error would resolve the issue. Also its spec'ed to run at 6.5v and above so its not really suited for i5 i7 builds. Dont even consider running this at auto SPD! Do yourself a favor and pick up some real memory such as Gskill or Kingston, this is just garbage. |

Great for the price
Comment:
Running these with windows 7 and crossfire video cards on an amd mobo, great performance so far with my second set. First set was faulty, had tons of errors, but they replaced them quickly and with no problems. Very good ram for the price. |

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:Had to manually set it to 1333.
Pros:Fast, might be because my last computer was old. Comment:
Bought this for my new build, and besides changing the speed to 1333, it seems to work perfectly without any problems that I'm aware of.Hope my rebate comes through. |

Excellent performance for a great price!
Comment:
I didn't get to check out the reviews here before my order shipped out to me. While they were on their way to me, I read some of them and was initially really worried about how these would work. But, I put these in my new rig (EVGA P55 FTW mobo, Core i5 750) and haven't had a single problem with them. It gets a 7.7 out of 7.9 on the Windows 7 x64 Professional Edition experience index 'benchmark' and all my games load extremely fast. The heatspreaders look like they're put on the memory chips with some kind of styrofoam looking material, but they feel solid nonetheless -- it just looks a little funny. |

Best Ram for the I5 1156, just wish it actually came in the 16 gig variety. |
