Unlucky
Comment:
2 bought 2 kits of these in short order and experienced occasional blue screens from the very beginning. The frequency of freezes increased until one day I could not even boot any more. It appears that one of the kits was defective from the beginning. I'm currently waiting to hear from support about a replacement. |

Horrible Tech Support, DOA Product
Comment:
Ordered this product as a new computer build and spent 2 weeks tracking it down to be the source of the instability of the system. After contacting OCZ tech support, was given instructions to change BIOS settings, and system still unstable. Then told to go through testing of the memory, which on an already unstable system, difficult at best. Identified one module as defective, requested RMA from OCZ, and their tech support couldn't even manage to correspond properly (received ticket status changes but no instructions. Had to trck them down manually throught their website). Then told to return both memory modules, effectively taking the computer out of commission for who knows how long. No incentive for future purchases, and this seems to be a common problem. Will not buy again... Beware, memory seemed fine, and memory tests were always different results, not same failure. Test the memory asap to ensure it is not defective. |

DOA
Comment:
Bought 2x2x20480 for my new system last Saturday (Feb 27) and they were all 4 DOA. Asked a friend to bring his DDR 3 and system booted right away. Tried the OCZ memories one by one, still nothing. Went back, changed for Corsair, paid the difference and system runs extremely fast. No more OCZ products for me from now on. |

Good buy
Comment:
Don't let some of these reviews fool ya. this is great ram. not many boards support dual-channel 1333MHz DDR3. so i can see why alot of people seem to have problems with it. paired mine with a i5 750, and a EVGA P55. great ram, I'm gonna buy another 4g to finish out the board. |

Running 8GB
Comment:
This is my second pair for a system total of 8GB. My rig: DX38BT (now discontinued) with a Q9450. Any pair run at 7-7-7-20-1T with 1.5V. All four of them run at 7-7-7-20-2T with 1.5V. Some OCZ forum threads do detail different performance levels when going from 4 to 8GB with this RAM, but I'm stable and error free. |

OCZ NOT COMPATIBLE WITH INTEL i5
Comment:
We purchased a bare bones kit, offered with the INTEL i5 processor. Built with an Intel board too. It was supposed to be low voltage RAM - this is not! It was bluescreening and then started recycling. Support at Intel says the OCZ is the wrong voltage, that it cannot be more than 1.6. Although OCZ site says this RAM was developed especially for the Intel i5- it also states the voltage is 1.65, which likely caused the MB problem. I was lucky that I could RMA the board . We counted on your company having put together proper components that work together, our mistake! |

You get what you pay for
Comment:
Memory out of box, appear to be 2 bad sticks. bsod after bsod for memory management, etc. Couldn't run system for more than 5 to 10 mins before crashing. Both sticks failed mem diags and even talking to OCZ support and changing timings and voltage did not help. Seems like many are having issues with this memory kit. rma and waiting for replacements. Nothing like buying a new setup and not being able to use it for two weeks. Should have read the reviews sooner. |

decent deal
Comment:
decent deal on ddr3 ram, however, the ram timings are a bit finicky, you have to play around to get completely stable times nothing extraordinary, and nothing extremely bad |
