Went in fine and was easy to re hook-up. If you have a lot in your computer might be frustrating because there are not a lot. I have found it very quiet so far which is what I wanted.

Wires are black net sleeved so they can't cut. lots of connectors, great for a cheap build. silent power supply the 120mm fan doesn't have any led but it is a great power supply for the price.

It keeps this old AGP based system humming along without any trouble. I would've liked extra power hookups, but they're easy to come by. I haven't stressed this thing no matter what I install into this old tank of a computer. Well worth the money.

Make that cheap in price- not quality. It's stable, has adequate connections for average users, and quite silent.Fan even though it isn't noticably loud, keeps the unit nice and cool.

Pros:It looks great, feels very sturdy, reputible company, very good price when I bought it, good quality all around and extremely quiet. Comment: I got it a few days ago and it was ready for pickup in a couple hours. No complaints so far, very happy especially for the price. t was $65 plus over $30 in rebates so i'll end up paying about $30 which is a steal. I recomend for mid level systems with no SLI. Nice looking PSU with a quiet fan and a decent cable setup. Definitely a step up from the standard models. Keeps my +12V circuits over 12 volts even with 4 HDDs, 2 DVD burners, a power hungry CPU and video card. Comment: Awesome PSU. It's a great time to build a PC right now, what with the new 9600GTs priced lower than $200 and high wattage PSUs from reputable companies selling for cheap prices. Great bang for the buck for 500w. A+

Comment: Got this as a replacement for a PS that was overheating. It's 500W is sufficient for general use. Runs quiet, and the large fan results in an overall improvement in cooling whereby both the CPU & board temperatures are lowered substantially.
TERRY_V@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 02/10/08	OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W Power Supply Cons:lack of cable options Pros:inexpensive, very quiet, decent name behind it,3 yr warranty Comment: i bought this for part of a test bed and maybe for a backup ps..it won't serve me as a backup to my machine with the number of sata components i have. the mistake made by ocz is putting one measly dual connector sata cable (don't believe if you've read it has 3..maybe the 600 watt version, but not the 500!) i need 3..i the cable needs to be long enough to go across the length of a case, not 4 inches apart like this design. that's the one critical downside to this drive..great if you're not into sata components to speak of but i have 4.. on the big plus side, power is solid on the rails...no variation and very close to the specs. i have to give it a satisfactory though based on using one today though with all the switch to sata drives.

I have monitored this with motherboard monitor. All of the voltages stay rock solid and I have had no stability problems. I have overclocked the cpu by 500 MHz and the video card by 65MHz and it runs great. Very good supply.

The PS is very quiet and generates very little heat. The connectors are adequate for my setup but it does lack in that area. I'm not sure about the build of this PS. It doesn't feel as substantial as some of the PS's I've used but so far I've had no issues with it. Running four drives and three fans and there appears to be plenty of clean power. This PS is a very good bargain.
