Clips are a need to specifically if you are in your situation really a bit. None Make sure you verify what length of cable you will need. These are almost too brief to reach bay 2 & three in a Dell 9100. Generally greater to go too extended than also brief.

They function They're connectors are also huge. My mobo has 8 SATA ports. I can fit them side by side, but not a single on top and one more on bottom. It's just also tight a squeeze.

Not flimsy. Clips make for good connection devoid of considerably force or strain on connectors. Very good answer if your drives are only a couple of inches from SATA ports. Can not believe of any. Even becoming relatively brief, I still had some slack. Ideal for my Cooler Master situation exactly where the drives are close to SATA connectors. Regular SATA cables are just way as well lengthy.

The locking function is pretty great, and they essentially glow fairly fantastic if you have UV light in the case. 90 degree connectors would be good, but possibly wouldn't function with the locking mechanism. These are the best size for the two sata drives I have in the upper part of my case, but they are too short to hit the lower portion.

Purchased two 10" cables with metal latches, but discovered one cable was missing a latch. The cables work as expected with the exception of 1 end not locking in spot. The cable with the missing latch on one particular finish was apparently manufacturered, package with a latch missing on a single end, and shipped. Good quality assurance did not prevail. Although about sending the cable back. Not worth the work. Will believe twice prior to buying an Okgear cable in the future.

Its a cheep cable that sends data. Its a little short, but thats not so much the cables fault but my own for not measuring. Also it is a thicker cable so if you need it to ben it in weird angles, just be forwarned.

for an Antec 9xx and EVGA mobo these shorties operate perfectlyhave 5 drives total of 1.48TBNewEgg has what we always look for....maintain up the Fantastic function!!!! are you kidding me?.....NONE right after some critiques about length I worried after order....for my setup, these are the great answer. What came with the mobo was 24 and 18 inch and had them all coiled up and ugly, now its a lot far better.......SATA cables will need to be a lot a lot more flexible, but no complaints about this item or NewEgg.

Quality and the clip. I hate how the oem sataII cables come out of it's socket from a light touch but the clips assist keep these bad boys on. Could be a little longer Would acquire again when I acquire a different HD

Blue and they perform. Exact same as with the 6" I got, they have big clips creating it practically impossible to use a different cable next to in on mobo. Worked for me due to the fact I had adequate Sata slots on my mobo to space it out.

- Blue matches my system's color scheme- Backward compatible- Perfect length for my program - None I bought this and a 6" version to eradicate some cable clutter in my case. The six" is just too brief for most issues, ten" is just the proper quantity of cable.
