OKGEAR 18" SATA II cable,Glow in dark

i got them because they were cheap. the metal clips are a plus, and transfering files among drives i am in a position to get over 125megs (real speed) from these cables. they are a decent length, and overall a fantastic quality cable. none i purchased four since you by no means know when you want a spare, and they definatly beat the cables that come with a motherboard.

Glows white under UV light, then green when uv is off. Two Blings in a single. none wish they created a shorter version. I like zero clutter in my case. So extra lengths of wire bothers me. Why do they make then that length?Most users have mid not full towers.

NONE!!!! If you are running the Side SATA ports don't purchase these cables, the clips make it so they don't fit. My Motherboard is the Foxconn A7DA-S three. AM3 and I couldn't get these to fit at all. Don't obtain!

This cable is pretty a lot like all the other SATA 3.0gb/s cables out there. The glow in the dark works, and permits additional originality, i guess. Despite becoming slightly novel, the glow in the dark adds flavor to a case w. a side window, so I would prefer this cable more than others simply simply because all of them are the same price. What can I say... its a SATA cable. It doesn't make me lunch? If you require cables, get cables. This one is fairly neat looking, so why not get it if they're all the very same cost? Just remember that the shipping costs far more than the cable itself, so it generally helps to obtain these in bulk or with other gadgets with a shipping cost.

Cool light glow when my laptop or computer is off. Shipping is not low-cost unless you order other items, which I did. I love having various colors for every single device so I don't have to chase wires.

It's a SATA Cable for the correct price. What Else is there to say?Hooked up the drive... and it works.Newegg shipped fast as usual. none however Really don't care about the "glow in the dark" it sits inside a Computer case and I never see it anyway.(Still don't get the complete "fancy decorative cable" factor)For the price I should have ordered a bunch of them just to have about, rather of just one with the drive I ordered.

Works as described. Flexible. Solid, positive connection. None. Bought new pc June, 2007. Intermittently, drives would not be recognized. Narrowed down to sata connections. Installed five OKGear sata cables with positive locking retention clips in July, 2007, and have had no difficulties for over a year. The metal retention clips make this cable superior to any other cable without retention clips.

Cables are a excellent obtain for the length. For the cost, does not matter if you have an open case or not. None Perhaps internal LED could make them brighter... content.

Good quality affordable cable. The metal fastener seems to work so that the cable doesn't accidently fall off when your routing cables. Housing is not so thick that you can't bend the cable to fit the shape of your case. I heard it glows, but not interested. Just that I saved a buck obtaining them versus the common colored cable. I was thinking about buying shorter cables, but somebody on Newegg had said that the specs for SATA require an 18" cable, just so you know that your heard it on the grapevine.

clips to HDD, glows to internal lighting color (kinda). works. (see prior post) Haven't actually noticed any pronounced glow, could be that the habitat doesn't recieve enough light for the illusive SATA Cable you absorb. I will continue my quest to observe the Wild SATA Cable in its natural invironmebt in an attemp to capture a glimps of the Glow!
