They kinda glow. The latches are in fact fairly great, even though. Tiny clicking sounds make me really feel warm and fuzzy inside when I'm connecting issues. I can't think about that the glow wouldn't get dimmer if I had a window, due to the fact much more UV light would escape. These are all round fairly inexpensive cables, but I wouldn't bother investing funds to use these as a replacement for any cables you already have. On the other hand, if you have to purchase SATA cables anyway, these are as excellent a selection as any.

This cable has a nice metal latching technique to hold it in place. The metal latch only latched securely to my DVD writer but not to my motherboard.

Clips are wonderful, my old sata cable was falling out better looking then the red generic ones you get and significantly far more manage in a position then the stiff red generic ones. nothing i bought them then i believed they would glow but they don't you need to have uv to get them to, it doesn't matter much but they are excellent cables the correct angle is much more manageable than the double striaght

Nice seeking cable, works as intended. Looks great in my tower case. One of the small metal latches broke off when I tried plugging it into my board. Not a large issue considering that I'll by no means truly unplug it as soon as it's in there. If you want a blue SATA cable, this 1 does the trick. The only issue is the flimsy metal latches, if the cable doesn't appear to want to plug in effortlessly, chances are the metal latch is causing some resistance and will snap off with pressure applied.

Cords are just as described...The blue color looks pretty good with the blue LEDs in my develop. Latch guarantees cord stays plugged in. Cables appear to be 1 of the superior selections for the price. None Newegg had it to my location in 2 days and I was lastly able to use SATA for my DVD-RW and add an extra SATA HD

They're a nice color. the plastic surrounding the connector is flimsy. I purchased about six of these. If the latch is even a small snug the plastic surrounding it crumbles when you get rid of the cable and the cable is ruined. Don't purchase these. Get cables exactly where the connector is molded in one solid piece.
