Provides stable and dependable power for a TRI SLI set up. Had a Corsair HMX-1000, but it wasn't cutting it, so I RMA'd it and got this 1 from newegg. Couldn't be happier. Enables me to overclock reliably, couldn't ask for a far better power provide A complete lot of cables make cable management a tiny unwieldly. I have a Silverstone TJ-09 case so its not as negative, but if the case was smaller I believe I would have a tricky time routing them correctly If creating an SLI Pc just heed the recommendations on the SLIZone web site and you really should be covered.------------------------------------------------------------------------MOTHERBOARD - EVGA 132-CK-NF79-A1 790iCPU / COOLING - INTEL CORE two EXTREME QX9650 / ZALMAN CNPS 9700 VIDEOCARDS - 3 EVGA 01G-P3-1282-AR GeForce GTX 280 SUPERCLOCKED EDITION TRI-SLIMEMORY - 4GB OCZ NVIDIA SLI-Prepared EDITION DDR3 1800 MODEL OCZ3N1800SR4GKTechnique Challenging DRIVE - VELOCIRAPTOR 300GB STORAGE Tricky DRIVES - two SAMSUNG SPINPOINT F1 HD103UJ 1TB SOUNDCARD - X-Fi TITANIUM FATALITY ProfessionalCASE - SILVERSTONE TJ-09POWER Supply - Pc POWER AND COOLING T12W 1200WOS - VISTA ULTIMATE SP1

I adore this PSU. No troubles.. this is the 2nd method I have had it in. No power troubles what so ever. Went by means of a lot of other PSU's maybe its just bad luck... but no problems with this one. NONE. Performance and reliability come with a price tag. This is not a con but a reality of life. This PSU can deal with any setup imaginable, and its Rock Solid below all load circumstances, 90 Amp 12 volt with 100 amp peak, 1300 peak watts and 1200 continuous, 7 year restricted warranty, dual 8 pin + 3x 6Ǟ pin and 3x6 pin connectors, 120,000 MTBF, 83% efficiency, .98 active pfc. The highest high quality build components with far more power than any technique you can put in your cart... What much more can you ask for? Very heavy unit. This unit is also lengthy, so measure ahead of you purchase. The Fan is not loud, but no one particular will mistake them for a silent 120 mm fan. Really high-priced for a power supply unit. This IS future proof. Also don't waste your tough earned cash on this unit unless you are powering a very power hungry system. This system quickly handles the following setup. E6850, Dfi P35, 2x1 gig Ballistix 667 @ 1200 ƒ.2v), evga 8800 Ultra Sli watercooled, Apogee GTX, 4x500 gig 7200.10 RAID-, SB X-fi, 4 x Optical, So many fans in Antec p180, Silverstone FM121s. This is a wonderful power supply from a trusted business. They deliver when once again with this hit. You get what you pay for!

Enough cables to run a big set up.Decently quiet.Lot of power. OCZ took more than this business and have not put out any 1000w+ energy supplies. It would be good to see a 1600w Computer& Energy Cooling power supply come out.Yes,I would acquire it. I purchased this power supply a tiny more than a year ago.I haven't had any problems with it.I have it in my major create powering my program that is over loaded <>i-7 980,<> 3 way SLI 480's<> four high powered fans<> 2 blu ray drives,<ɮ optical drives,<ᡄgb of RAM,<ɯ challenging drives,<> 1 Ssd,etc.......................fairly considerably if you want a dependable power supply that is going to last you awhile through benchmarking, gaming, photoshop, you will want this guy.It has been worth it for me.

This child will deliver solid clean power to anything you throw at it. This PSU is a bit on the loud side. Idle it's noticable and under load it sound's like a microwave. Possibly going to downgrade to the Silencer 910 due to the fact of this. If noise doesn't bother you and you want to power a high finish system this psu is second to none.

Stable, constant, trustworthy amps... did I say STABLE?! This PSU is a beast and due to the fact it is Computer P&C, I can safely say this will outlive the rest of my components. Mine arrived with no manual or any documentation whatsoever... not even a warranty card. I went to the site, but no pdf exists for this unit. Not seriously a con, but it is loud. Then once again, it is a frakkin' industrial grade unit and db levels are to be expected... just not too several.

see other thoughts see other thoughts I went with this brand since of all the reviews given, they had been all five's but for some nigling irrelevant complaints by one or two. I have by no means observed evaluations so consistently affirmative. This should handle any Tri SLI setup I embark on for the subsequent couple of years. Purchased an EVGA Classified-X58 MB, G-Skill -16000 ram+ and DO Stepping I7-920 nehalem which will all go in an Antec 1200 case. I'll evaluation once more immediately after I try it out

Quite effective PSU. Seemingly solid construction. LOUD. I RMA'd the unit right after speaking with a client service rep and reading the manufacturer web site saying to call if a noise other than that of rushing air is encountered. This PSU sounded like a microwave. I received a call from their service dept in the course of which they stated absolutely nothing was discovered to be wrong with the unit and that this is industrial grade equipment NOT INTENDED FOR Property APPLICATIONS (THEIR Exact WORDS). This would have been nice to know prior to plunking down 躔 for a power supply. Also the Pc Energy and Cooling web site really should be updated to reflect this. Stuck with a PSU that is so loud it can be heard almost all through a 2,500 square foot house when it is operating. I hope to sell and get half of what I paid for it. Will not obtain a Pc Power and Cooling product again.Bought a In-Win commander 1200 Watt that is whisper quiet compared to this product. Apparently it IS proper for home applications!

I have owned the ESA version of this psu for more than a year now. It is powering a system consisting of a Classified, i7 950, 3xGTX280hc's, two wc loops, three WD Vraps, 1TB Black, and 8 fans. I run the method thru a massive commercial UPS with more than 2Kw which monitors current draw. I use everybit of this psu's output benching in HWbot and IMO there is no finer psu obtainable for enthusiasts and high level benchers.I recommend you reserve your uninformed opinion for one thing you may well know a little additional about. Your review... If your significant, and want to be on the bleeding edge, this is your psu.

Wow. I have a Supermicro X7DWA-N with dual quad core E5440 Xeons, 32 gigs of FB-DDR2 667, 6 1.five TB Seagates in a RAID five, a 500 gig Seagate, and a 750 GB WD. I use an Areca RAID card and have a Sapphire Radeon 4870 x2. This power supply handles it with no problems. Taking into consideration how decked out this program is, this thing runs with nary a hiccup. Cost. It is pricey, but you do get what you pay for. I'm quite glad I once once again went with PC Power and Cooling. They are the only brand I program to use. Just a suggestion, but it would be nice if they deemed utilizing modular cables.

Bears the high quality brand name of PC Power & Cooling. Potent single rail. Has an business-leading 7-year warranty. If you are constructing a new dream machine, do not buy into the hype of this PSU. There are significant cons with this item that hardly justify the "bragging rights" for owning 1. First, it's big - so major it will not fit in a lot of PC instances. Second - and most importantly - it's loud. Genuine loud. Anybody who will tell you it's quiet most likely plays Battlefield 2 with the volume too high on their headphones. Please do oneself a favor and get yet another fine PC Power & Cooling PSU - their Silencer 910. It's developed to assistance a Core i7 with two GTX 295s in Quad SLI (which, at the most, only uses 700 watts). Why would you want this 1200 watt monster? The 910 can be bought at a fraction of the price and it's whisper quiet. Unless you need to power the Death Star, any individual praising this thing basically doesn't want to admit its flaws due to the fact they spent too a lot. Manufacturer Response:Hi, we are pleased that you suggest our Silencer 910 to potential buyers. This PSU is larger (as most PSU's 1000w and bigger are), and it is built for extreme duty. As a result we set the fans to move far more air than we would in a smaller PSU. Given the appropriate application we feel the Turbo Cool 1200 is second to none. If you have an "extreme machine" this could be the item for you.Thank you

Rock solid performance and voltage. Allegedly far more power than I could ever require. If needed on the other hand it is there. 7 year warranty. Loud and major, but I knew that ahead of I purchased it. I obtain only PC P&C PSUs now as they have by no means gone poor on me and usually deliver great power. This 1 is genuinely pricey. I replaced a Turbocool 850 mainly because I put two GTX 280s in SLI or I would not have necessary to replace it. The fact is this PSU will survive longer than it's usefulness as energy specifications for new merchandise constantly increase. I anticipate at some point to want 2 x8pin connectors for 1 card or even 2x8 and 1 six pin. Just saying my 850 was cutting edge at the time and it lasted a couple of years due only to its available plugs.

This PSU has voltages that meet the specs and it is powering a heavy load. Marked down due to the Con: below. My and other people rebates are getting wrongfully denied. Pay a visit to the OCZ web page so you will be prepared for your wrongful rebate denial. I own many PC P&C PSUs and they are all very good goods. It is a shame that OCZ is using a rebate processor that does not live up to the very same level of top quality that the item does. Dual Xeon processor, 8 GB mem., 26 difficult drives on 3 raid controllers, two DVD RW drives, and other slots full with video, audio, and vid. capt. cards. Manufacturer Response:Hi, we are sorry about the rebate problem. We use a rebate home for all processing. We will be be pleased to look into your rebate and will see that all valid claims are paid. Please get in touch with our support staff at the link below. Mention that you had been sent by the PC Energy rep at Newegg.ThanksExternal Link(s): PC Power Support|

Enough power to run most company related workstations with quite a few internal devices. Consumer service was courteous. Was the ideal power supply manufacturer until OCZ bought the organization in May well of 2007. Inconpatible or design problems with EVGA GTX280. Brought on four EVGA GTX280s, 1 ATI x1900xtx and 1 Sapphire 4870 x2 card to turn into damaged among weeks to a 6 month usage period for the duration of troubleshooting processes of two separate gaming systems with the exact same power supply. High graphical settings whilst running video games and working with DX10 caused all my EVGA GTX280’s to entirely fail four times in a row over a 6 month period, at unique increments. The manufacturer supplied me with replacements 4 times. All the other cards I applied did not totally fail, only showed signs of additional video lag right after the T12W. The issue lies in mixture with the T12W power supply and EVGA GTX280 cards. I have spent at least ũ,000 in parts and replaced every component except for this power supply. Right after working with PC Power and Cooling for over 8 years, could not implicate such a top quality company. Through troubleshooting, the only component that can be causing these video card failures is this model power supply I have usually sworn by PC Power and Cooling. I have constantly utilised their products in all the systems I have built for myself and buyers. In contacting PC Power and Cooling, they would not crossship a replacement supply or supplement shipping expenses for such an high-priced product. In the past, the old PC Power and Cooling would ship me a new power supply overnight and pay for the return shipping. Considering that OCZ bought out this business, its policies have changed. PC Power and Cooling is not the very same firm they had been. With OCZ's take over, I guess the excellent of service and product reliability has diminished. OCZ is a terrific organization when it comes to method memory but they have now diminished the name of the best power supply manufacturers in the world. I will not be buying thier products ever once more or at least until they live up to the original name the firm had created. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are really sorry for the troubles. Though this does sound highly unusual, we will be sure to thoroughly test your unit when it arrives and repair it as necessary. PC Power is nonetheless in the exact same location in Carlsbad, CA, has the similar management, engineering staff, and develop and repair staff, so truly little to nothing has changed. Our policy has always been for the customer to pay shipping to our facility, repair their unit, and return it after repair. Exceptions may have been produced in the past, but this is usually up to the individual support tech you are working with. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks

This factor is industrial rated @ 50C. Any notion how hot that is? This is developed for use like Air Visitors Control Information Centers, not our wimpy needs. Backed by long life design & 7 year warranty (try that Tagan, CoolerMaster), the last power supply you'll want for along time. Other people have to be rated far more to generate less!! Lucky to get 1 on E-auction for 赨 much less than the Egg. Looks like 8 pin PCI-e is here to stay and your ready for the ever much more tri GPU's entering the market. Lengthy. 9.1". Had to eliminate the lower fan and bracket on my Antec P180. Just drilled out rivets, np. No push-pull dual fans, some dead spots internally, not seriously a biggy wኬmm fan pumping huge CFM @ 5000RPM. Loud ࿒dB) but I'm old and utilized to it. My P4D 820 with intel fan & Asus fan control is louder than this although. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they teamed up with Koolance for a hybrid water cooled answer? Now PC P&C is OCZ, no loss in high quality from my other PC P&C PSU's. Alot of heat, I strategy to game much more in winter anyway ;). Ever growing watts are going to hit the ceiling where sufficient is enough if were not at that point already. Could simply run PC P&C 1000W for tri and OC to death, but nVidia insists on 1200W, and since heaven is green, it ought to be so.

Got this psu fully knowing it would be rather loud as i have read in some reviews, but it is REALLY loud. If you have an very open-air style case or your computer is at head level you will notice considerable noise from it. Keep this in mind if you dislike an annoying loud PC.

Cons:pretty large

Pros:tons of power, lots of cables, looks really well built
Comment:
I got this psu because I was concerned the 750w unit I had wouldn't be sufficient for the dual Ultras & QX6850 I was running. Probably overkill but this thing should serve my needs for years. One thing to be aware of is that this is a pretty deep psu. Check out the dimensions & make sure you have enough room. I had a hard drive mounted in the upper part of my Cooler Master case and this psu would push up against the cables it was so deep. I moved the drive to accommodate the psu. Overall I'm satisfied with this unit so far.
