Great Product for the Money
Comment:
I needed to get my Dell and HP desktops up to 3MB so that my software would run properly. In both cases it was a plug it in turn it on and BINGO everything works great and the software runs much faster. Obviously my next move is to buy a bigger and faster computer, but for now I can use what I have for a very small investment.

I was running Windows 7 on 1 GB of ram and trying to play high graphic games and the 1 GB wasn't cutting it. Before it took me 2 minutes to load into windows but after buying an extra 2 GB of PNY DDR2 4300, it went to 30 seconds. They went in like a charm, booted right up, windows noticed there was 3 GB instantly and ran like a dream. Great buy for a great price. Two thumbs up for this RAM and the fast delivery of this site

Great Deal

I needed to max out my IBM desktop with 4 gigs of ram, and this fit the bill. Linux sees all my ram and it gives the video card 512 meg, so I do not need a separate video card. Good value for the money.

Didn't function at first
Comment:
I made the simple mistake of replacing the ram and a hard drive at the same time. The computer didn't appreciate it and would boot. The ram just wouldn't function. I called pny customer support and left a message on a weekend. They are only there 9-5 m-f. They got back to me on Tuesday and were helpful. I was told to flash the bios with the computer manufacturer approved update which i did with the original setup. With the original hard drive and added 1 of the 2 purchased sticks and had no problem, then i installed the 2nd stick and booted successfully. Ran memtest86 boot cd and everything tested fine. Dropped my new hard drive in and everything was fine. Ram is stable and reliable. Guess the bios didn't like having to deal with new ram and a new HD at the same time.

Very good product
Comment:
Like most RAM memory modules, it's simply plug and play, meaning you just plug it in and it works. Worked well with me.

Increased computer's operating speed nicely
Comment:
The order came quickly, and the memory modules were easy to install. There were no difficulties. My objective was to increase the operating speed of my wife's desktop computer. All has been working well since the installation a few weeks ago, and the improvement is great.

Inexpensive memory worked great
Comment:
Easy to install even for a non-techie. It worked great as soon as I fired up the unit again. I've now replaced memory in three of my computers with PNY memory and I'd recommend their products.

What I ordered and expected
Comment:
I needed to speed up my computer (rather than buy a new one). It worked as I expected and the price was reasonable (nothing stellar). I was a little surprised when the package came and it did not match that which was being advertised online. Brand and RAM size were the same, I just don't understand the difference in what I ordered and what was shipped.

Good Memory and Great shipping speed
Comment:
I ordered 4 sticks to replace some bad memory and upgrade a Dell 4700. I didn't realize that Windows XP 32 bit could only utilize 3 Gigs. But it worked fine otherwise. To be sure to get the exact proper memory I used the configurator at PNY before coming here to purchase it. So it works fine and I hope lasts a long time. Another error I made was to not buy this same product two in a package, for dual channel. I could have saved more money. Live and learn. Shipping was quick, since I live in Indiana and it is shipped from Illinois. Made a friend happy, but should have saved him some money. My bad.

Did Not Work
Comment:
I purchased two pieces of this memory. The computer wouldn't recognize either piece. I purchased two pieces of the same type memory from a different manufacture, works great. This bad memory cost me S&H both to receive and return. It also caused me to wait an additional week to receive the working memory, repair and return this computer's operation.

Relabeled
Comment:
I got this ram and spent two days of effort getting the system to work. The ram would not recognize properly and my board doesn't take more than 533mhz. I even flashed my bios trying to get the memory to be recognized thinking it may be a motherboard issue. After reading up I found someone who got ram that was mislabeled. I remembered seeing this ram had two labels on it (one covering the other) so I took the ram out and pulled off the top label to see that it was an originally labeled cheap stick of 1gb Hynix pc5300 667mhz. Upon further inspection, all of the little chips are labeled hynix as well. I am furious. Even with a higher speed it is still not compatible with my board. This could have caused serious damage. I will never buy from PNY again.

Good Memory / Good Price
Comment:
I bought a couple of these sticks to supplement the 2GB I already had in my box. These worked just fine and offer the performance I expected. You can't really ask for more from a couple of memory sticks.
