Purchased this ram for my Dell desktop, but would not boot up. I was replacing 2 of my 256mb PC 133 ram for these 512mb modules, and it failed to even reach the CMOS setup. If you have a Dell, I'd choose a different brand. |

Installs easy, works perfect. Would buy and recommend this memory with one minor catch. The chip was pricier than you would expect but I suppose that is because it is no longer a commonly used type of ram. PNY is golden in my book no matter what they sell. Love that Tigerdirect often beats their 3 day base shipping estimate and you get the product in 2 days!! |

Don't buy from PNY. I bougth 3 PNY 512Mb PC133 only too have problems. It took me months before discovering the faulty memory. But worst, when I sent back the memory for replacement, they returned me a 512Mb PC100 SDR, not compatible with the other PC133. Buy Ultra instead a litle more expensive but trouble free. |

PC-133 RAM is hard to find. It's even harder to find it at a reasonable price. That's why Tigert Direct is so great. They offer this product at a good price. Plus I have had 3 sticks of 512 installed on my machine for over a year, and it works really great. Installed easily. |

Works fine alone, but I've had compatibility problems with other (non-PNY) SDRAM. This is PC133 ONLY, and is not dual 100/133 like the older chips. |
bought these for a friends old acer laptop. breathed new life and speed into it at a great price. even cheaper now than it was back in.
