extremely great video card in playing big 3D game when you play a large 3D video game, the temputer going up to 77C for typical. and when you runing not 3D the average 36C. it is so hot in this card, i am afraid to burn this card. i really feel only fan is not adequate two 6-pin connecter in the video card for the power provide

Giving it 3 stars played the few OLD direct x 9 games like GRID beautifully, nevertheless newer Direct X 11 games were mostly problematic, HAWX 2 played fine (granted beginning the game there isn't significantly present to genuinely push the card), Dirt 2 showed the "micro stutter" effect for the duration of gameplay and menus, Batman AA was alittle Frame dip hiccup occasionally in cutscenes and gameplay not negative just not 100% suitable, Aliens Vs Predator Seemed ok (But in no way got into an area with ALOT of action happening), Seemed to run Heaven 2.1 benchmark fine with results in line with other people, So I give it three stars due to the fact its problems could just be a compatibility among my windows install, and surrounding hardware though I did do clean installs and employed 3 newest drivers from nvidia and all the guidelines I got from Google "micro stuter" with Fermi single gpu machines. Got it throughout Black Friday deals for 贶 w/ rebate. Card idles at 26C and doesn't get a lot past 40C for the duration of games. Fully quiet and plays all games I require it to play. None however!

its a pretty good card. oc'd at 850񳊔񳎘. ive observed people today go higher. fan speed is automobile. surely much better than others since of lifetime warranty! evga cards, dont supply that with the TR 460륩 card. chose it since of better reviews and performance over a 465 (also ran same cost) runs bf:bc2 at settings all the way high, sc2 at ultra and runs much better than my 8800 gts 640! none however...maybe the fan when it gets loud, but i cant hear it cus i play my games loud anyway. when it idles its good. 460 vs 465 was a big challenge cus the 465's are operating about the identical cost. following lengthy periods of critiques between each, i definitely would rather pick the 460 simply because of temps too. the highest this has gone playing those games for an hour was about 63, i heard 465's get hot genuine fast so youd be far better off acquiring a 470 if something. and pny has lifetime warranty!

So significantly smaller than the gtx 260 it replaced. Also runs almost 10 degrees cooler. No load for 260 is 38-41 with fan ramped up to 50%, no load for 460 is 30-33 with fan at stock 40%. Distinction is bigger under load. Only about 10-20% quicker than a gtx 260, not an earth shattering efficiency improvement.

1. Quite quiet fan - in no way goes over 40% and is inaudible.two. Cool Running - hasn't topped 68C (Furmark) but3. Compact sizefour. Fairly fast for the cost 1. The stickers had been applied by either a drunk machine or line individual that day. What a mess - misaligned and bubbles.two. Could/should be about บ less in cost. This is a strict Nvidia reference card (save for the factory OC) and that's a superior thing. They did a wonderful job with the HSF - very cool and quiet. Feels a tad affordable, but gets the job completed incredibly nicely. Had an MSI Cyclone 1GB prior to this and it was considerably noisier below load. In standard gaming it tops out at 64C with an 800񳈰񲿘 overclock. Just great.

-Everything I bought was at Mircocenter.com Lucky I didn't order it on the internet would of been the greatest hassle. Wanted to upgrade my gtx 260.1st - bought evga gtx 460 1GB 1372 TR. bring it dwelling and the card was messed up.
