Mush brand was similar price at the time (higher now) and is quicker. This is (as advertised) a 4GB thumb drive. My dilemma with it is that it is significantly slower than other (large capacity) USB2 thumb drivers I've owned. This 1 barely makes it over 2MB/s (vs. 5MB/s for others I have). I find this to be too slow for this capacity and annoying to use. One more con: the memory does not come with a strap to carry it (even less costly units do, why isn't it included here?). I'd look for a quicker unit.

Pretty zippy. No way to stow cap when drive is in use. Typical read rate for this drive was 25.4 MB/s. Typical read rate for a SanDisk was 18.3 MB/s.

Reasonably quick; this drive writes at a sustained 15.five MiB/sec, and reads back at a little over 20 MiB/sec. It's not a readyboost drive, but it's plenty rapidly adequate for its storage size. It also weighs next to absolutely nothing. It's even pretty nice to look at.The red activity LED on the end shines via a semi-transparent gray plastic casing, almost lighting the complete end up instead of shining intensely from a single little spot. This is very good, it makes it very easy to see read/write activity.Right after 12 months of use I've had zero problems with it. Keyring hole on the end is next to useless -- too little. It seems challenging to go wrong with these guys if this product is indicative of Patriot's brand excellent overall. This small drive is 1 of the greater pieces of hardware I've bought in the last decade. I just wish all their drives were as nice looking as this, the black ones are really an eyesore.

great cost. nice develop top quality. still works terrific after working with it a number of times day-to-day. none has but to show any complications, so soon after the abuse i've put this factor via, i extremely advise this flash drive!

Cheap cost for 4GB, it works Painfully slow transfer rate, low-cost parts, cracks/breaks easily If you're extremely cautious about handling these, and patient about copying your files, it's worth the bargain.

It'll do what you anticipate, store 4GB's, but that's it. No software, no readyboost, no durability

I like this drive! It's just like all other USB flash drives. I like shopping at this site. I've gotten some good deals here! BUT, I wouldn't buy this item from here for 11.99 to then do the mail-in rebate. Most ppl never bother with Mail-in Rebates and stores know that! And I can go to any local Store n get same item for same price and not have to pay the S&H fees! So, I wouldn't purchase this from this company at this current price! Sorry but its true!
