This product should be media code CMC MAG M01. It is made in Taiwan. CMC MAG M01 isn't great quality however not all CMC MAG M01 is the same quality despite coming from the same factory. I have bought TDK & Memorex CMC MAG M01 and it hasn't played in my DVD player. However the Philips always does. I am on my second DVD and so far no problems. My DVD player is a Sony DVP S360. I should mention that the DVDs I bought had the old packing and that Philip's DVD +R 4.7GB 16x have four different media codes. CMC MAG M01 is the best, the others are inferior.
