HDMI is why I wanted this card.Aero score went from 4.1 to 5.. (upgraded from onboard 4200)Red board is pretty cool. I don't really game so that is not why i wanted this card.even so it might just be me but i cant seem to run San Andreas at a larger resolution then 1024x768 on low settings with no choppyness. i was expecting superior efficiency but it could be my technique or anything i am not carrying out ideal. My specs:Athlon x2 regortwo gigs ddr2 mem.I have not had significantly practical experience with video cards as onboard is sufficient for me.Becoming i got a 21 inch 1080p monitor i wanted to upgrade from dvi to hdmi.Got this card with a rebate i have not received however. For me with the rebate the upgrade is worth it. If i do not get the rebate then i wont really feel as satisfied about this buy.

Certainly a noticeable upgrade from onboard 3000 vid. Tames the toughest Sim games w/high addon polygon models and scenery, frame rate consuming Gray Wolves Expansion Pk and overly developed self made addon MS FS9 COF models ƙ.0c) full tilt. The onboard vid studdered in specific circumstances with heavy visitors and scenery 9.0c sim. Don't any far more...Plays that new DX10 game of my gransdon's with incredibly very good frame rates @ 1040. He has that odd ball 18.5" monitor that stetches scenery at 1400 & other settings, business monitor. He's almost certainly going to be finding a new monitor (a superior a single) this summer time for his birthday, possibly.Don't know about DX11 thingy that just came out. I know this card does not tax the new 500 watt power provide he has, not needing any particular power cabling straight to the PS. Appears to run a little cooler and quiter than what I'm utilised to... None, Grandson is content. His 780 chipset w/ AM3 ࿍ms tech) & 1066FSB functions smoothly together with this card. His Vista 64 (cough-cough) appears to like it, even in the 32 bit mode for older library games ie. AOE & CFII (Europe). The card was priced ideal for a important upgrade gift. Newegg stuff is the finest bet on the online. They make it worry- totally free, these kind of people right here.

Price. 1GB memory, HDMI and DVI connections. Powerful characteristics. ATI. When I powered up my pc - nada, no picture. I connected to a diverse computer and there was image. I moved it back to my computer system and it worked. The software package installation approach messed up my network device drivers. AMD help were good and helpful. Aside from that, the installation software program could use some remodeling. Ought to have stuck with Nvidia.

Good specs at a decent price tag. Too bad it under no circumstances operates! Initial card died inside 6 months. Manufacturer took a tiny over a month to replace it. Second card died within 2 weeks. Finally gave up and went with a different card. Wonderful specs... no reliability... manufacturer did back the product, on the other hand was not as timely as I would have preferred. Replacement card died anyway quicker than the original. Get a various card and skip powercolor! Manufacturer Response:Sorry for the bad luck you've skilled, but we do back our goods 100% and are much more than willing to work with you in getting a replacement. We've made adjustments to our RMA technique so turn-about time is only getting greater. Well its 1GB...and its cheeeapI nonetheless gave it four eggs, b/c u get what you spend for hah Performs slowlyPurchased this for my friends dual core amd desktopMy laptop's 256MB Radeon HD 3650 HD performs a bit much better than this card, I seriously dont know why, but it does.Kinda expected this lil factor would have performed better. For 50 bucks its not thaaat poor, can nevertheless play AION with medium-low settings just gets seriously choppy when lots of players pop up on screen, im talking about ten-15fps at medium to low settings. But its managable, nevertheless dont suggest this card for quick paced games such as racing or shooters

Decent price tag for 1GB of DDR3 ram on PCIe interfacePretty quiet , not considerably overheating at 1080p and 60HzPretty Red Color. Fits motherboard. Drivers from ATI site perform well, detect this card, with very good overscan alternatives to match your HD Tv by means of HDMI. Audio from HDMI is missing just about every other reboot or so, I have to reboot it each other time to get Audio to come out of the HDMI port into my Television, then into my receiver. Lowered my Win7 64-bit OS Encounter overall score, since this only scored a five and almost everything else was a 7 or higher. Not poor, not the fastest or greatest HDMI sporting card either, but very good for a HTPC construct

I have no complains:It is cheep and supplies much more then sufficient powerIt is dead quite, you can\'t hear it at all.I also don't have too several connections inside my tower so the Modular design keeps the inside clean as a whistle None Couldn't be happier

I got this card back when it was 50 bucks. No thought why the cost went up. It's still an superb card for the money. Stays very good and cool, usually about 44C following playing some thing intensive like crysis, and the fan normally only works at about 38%. You can get away with high on most games as lengthy as you don't expect 60fps at a high resolution. Averages 20 on crysis 1 on high, mid 20s on borderlands and batman:aa maxed with 4x aa. Anything pre 2007 this card eats alive and it can handle new stuff too reasonably nicely for the cost. Overclocks superior as nicely so you can get a bit additional umph out of her. Only con I can feel of is the value going up. I got this for 50. For 50, get this card. But at 65, I would suggest acquiring a HIS 4670 as you get a bit more energy for the exact same price.
