Powers up, functions properly sufficient. The fan by no means turned on. Simply isn't functional. Needed to use the power supply, so I just strapped a case fan onto it and referred to as it a day. Was installing this into a develop I'm carrying out for a friend and its not that bad of a power provide for the price. Has a good shiny blue light (warning: its vibrant) and the modular aspect is nice for wire management. My major rig has wires tucked away all more than the place but with this power provide I was in a position to keep my friends develop good and tidy. None so far. If it fails on me in the future at least it was only 55 bucks.

High output, fits in case, quiet, modular cabling, great airflow from a larger-than-regular cooling fan. The STUPID blue light. I needed a PSU of a specific minimum wattage, and this 1 was priced appropriate with a lot of positive feedback. Wish I could turn off the STUPID blue fan LED. The modular cabling is a definite plus, in particular at this cost point, but the blue LED is annoying. I'll open it up to disconnect the light if it keeps powering my program for a few months. Bought to replace a Thermaltake W0093RU 500W ATX Passive PFC Power Supply which failed three years into the five-year warranty. 1 egg off for the unswitchable fan LED; manufacturers seriously want to understand to make these lights switchable by the consumer. Otherwise, this PSU seems to be a solid item so far.

Worked good for about two months. This factor went out in a blaze of glory! It was randomly turning off and on the night prior to failure. I woke up the subsequent morning, turned it on, following about 10 minutes it began shooting out sparks like a bottle rocket! Remain clear of this PSU if you know what's superior for you, invest in a small more costly one if its in your spending budget.

Worked for 2 years. Did not damage other component when failed. Failed following two years and two months at incredibly light use ྪ hours per week, wife's computer), with out warning. Fail entirely. Paid โ plus shipping in Dec 2008. It is utilised in a tower case with lots of cooling. Expect longer service at this cost. This is the second failed energy supply ever and the very first one in the last 10 years. Mine seemed to have last a bit longer than some other owners. It was replaced with a Cosair CX500. Figures crossed.

Dont have to use all cables, wrapped cables, blue LED n/a have heard stories of burning out but maybe they had poor ones, only time will tell.

For the price, I couldn't find a comparable option on the web site with this quantity of energy. I've utilized Raidmax ahead of they've been fairly reliable for me. It's also quiet. Not a lot of a con but I had a extremely very slight fitment concern.

Works as it really should, fan assists move air in case nicely too. Nice blue LED. Only semi-modular. Really should've bought a beefier energy supply, but thats my fault for not preparing ahead.

This energy supply is fantastic for it's price point. Delivers the power you need to have, and the semi-modular construction is pretty beneficial. I'm generally not one to go with the "Pretty LED Lights" But it's truly quite subtle and compliments my case nicely. The four pin molex connectors are horrible, If you even so much as touch the cable the pins get all out of alignment and you have to fuss and fight with it to get it to push into place. What do you expect from a 40$ energy supply? Other than that it rocks. Other critiques have stated it doesn't last really lengthy... I guess we will have to wait and see. Hopefully it all works out.

Modular. Makes cable management and powering all the devices I have a piece of cake. absolutely nothing so far. It has stubs to connect the cables to so several of the reviews on NewEgg are saying it's not seriously modular. Those stubs are nothing compared to having all the extra cables of a standard PSU hanging around.

Low cost PSU, runs cool, easy to install, good cable management.Fairly lights XD None thus far. Picked this up for my Wife's system, she had been running a 350watt generic PSU which had come with her program. Good upgrade for her, straightforward on my pocket book, runs quietly, doesn't generate much heat.

Wonderful PSU, plugged it in and it worked - got this to replace a stock HP PSU so I could upgrade my graphics card. The Komodo cable method was wonderful for my little case - keeps everything good and cool and clutter-free.Blue lights appear fairly sweet (because honestly, despite how we don't will need them they're pretty amazingꂠmm fan is super quiet Didn't fit into my case all that nicely, but that may possibly just be due to the fact I have a stock HP case. It's not about to fall out or anything like that (the screws went in immediately after a bit of function) but it could fit much better. At the cost, you can't truly complain.

Fantastic price. Delivers the energy I require. Fairly blue light on the wall freaked out my ex-girlfriend. None to note. This power supply is quite groovy. I had no problems with the device itself. My only difficulties came when removing the old PSU, whence I sliced my hand open due to a design flaw in my case, and dealing with said flaw when I put this PSU in. As soon as I got the blood sacrifice over with to my PC it was worked fine since.

blue light; modular connectors popped following 30 days of light use, this unit is technically about a year old so I have no warranty possibilities I bought this last year for a smaller gamer I was developing. It has sat on a shelf most of the time considering that then. When I ultimately did complete this machine... the energy supply popped and died right after about 30 days of use. Was more power than I necessary in this setup, yet still went pop. I in fact noticed it going... unit was putting out a lot of heat just keeping pc idle. five hundred and thirty watts well, due to my own sturbbeness i thought this would power every thing turns out ill be getting an upgrade soon this thing just wont cut it i'm searching at a 950 watt corsair but this does the job i suppose cable managment was alittle bit of a pain in a xion case xion is going out the window also horay antec df-85! i dont really have mutch to complain about besides the power

Hasn't blown up but. Soon after reading some of the reviews, I will be keeping an eye on it. So far, for the price, its completed an wonderful job powering 95W Athlon II X4 640, 1 DVD-RW, 2 2GB sticks DDR2, 2 1TB mechanical HDDs, and MSI GTX 560 ti OC. None Like I stated above, I'll be keeping an eye on it, but I feel I got a excellent one.My 7th or 8th purchase from Newegg and still haven't had to RMA anything yet!!
