I like the thin skin for my GX-9 Lazer Mouse. Immediately after 5-6 months the skin no longer sticks to the surface and slides about (VERY Bad when in the middle of a fire fight or attempting to level-up!) It also sort of bubbles up. I contacted the firm and all I received was ENDLESS reply emails asking for much more certain facts and images, and so on. (How significantly info do you truly will need? It DOES NOT STICK!) Common poor consumer service. To bad, I like this item. CAN NOT Recommend Buying.

1. Large and can get larger, I have massive hands 2. Love the really feel once you get applied to the pinky tray thingy The tracking on this began ok then I noticed once and a while to not move up and down, only side to side ( it has happened the other way around a couple of time also). Attempted various surfaces for it and am now attempting a unique usb slot, but if this continues it will be going back Really like this thing. Wish I hadn't located a main flaw like this. It fits my hand far better than other mice I have attempted

Huge.Slick as ice.Low Profile.Razer Logo. When you open it you get a stupid look on your face and believe, "I paid ม for this wafer thin piece of plastic?!" Don't worry although..... ...... single greatest 17 bucks you'll ever devote on a mouse pad.I thought this wouldn't last a week the way I play but it hasn't shown an iota of wear or tear. I'm perplexed. Razer has greater expertise or the aid of a superior civilization that it's enslaved.

I prefer low-friction mouse/mousepad combinations. I am working with this with a SteelSeries Ikari Laser, and this is completely the smoothest gliding mouse and pad that I have ever employed - bar none. Of course, when you talk about smooth glides, there is usually the possibility that it might be difficult to quit precisely where you want. That is merely not even a concern with this mousepad. There is no over- or under-tracking of the mouse cursor - no floating or jittering - the accuracy of the tracking on this surface is, to me, astounding. Moreover, the adhesive works perfectly on my desk. In reality, this is the first mousepad I have ever owned that stays exactly where I put it. I had been working with a SteelSeries 5L Pad and was quite pleased with that. I still think it is a excellent mousepad, but it no longer tops my list - it has been replaced by the Sphex! The thickness (thinness?), even though not a difficulty for me, could conceivably be an issue for some individuals. And a few additional inches per side would be welcomed. This is only the second Razer product I have ever owned. (Razer Moray earbuds is the other.) Judging from my own satisfaction with these two items - I really should most likely investigate other Razer merchandise.Anyway, the Razer Sphex Gaming Grade Desktop Skin is the greatest mousing surface I have ever had the pleasure to use. The tracking is pixel-best and the glide is ultra smooth. If you were on the fence deciding to get this - just go ahead and do it. You will not be disappointed!Oh, and did I mention that Newegg's service R-O-C-K-S!!!

Pros:- thin- large size- good adhesive strength- good grip- price

Thin enough that a keyboard won't be tilted. The surface allows the mouse to glide effortlessly without it moving out of control. The adhesive is strong enough to prevent the mouse pad from moving on a wood surface.

Really thin, mousing surface is excellent Bottom can get a small dirty if you move it often I accidently purchased this surface as component of a combo with my new mouse. I meant to get a different microfiber pad for my new laptop. No worries as ive replaced the microfiber pad on my desktop with this 1 and i'll use the micro pad on the laptop :)

I've owned many mousepads and this is the best and the cheapest i've had. The mouse glides over it with ease and it's easy to install. Great buy

THIN! Surface Texture. No-residue adhesive. Reappliable. Not definitely a con, but you have to reactivate the adhesive following removing and reattaching the pad. I only felt this way soon after making use of it for 4 months and Many removal and reattachments (kids take it on and off my desk 'cause they like the "tearing" sound) later. If you don't like the elevation that some mouse pads give you or aren't actually too keen on employing mouse pads but nonetheless want to protect your work surface, then this is the mouse pad for you. It is Particularly thin and works as advertised.

- Nice surface- Quite thin- Great size for folks who don't want massive mousepads - Has some type of adhesive on the bottom that left goop all over my wooden IKEA desk- Adhesive makes parts of the mousepad crackle when i press on it. I guess the adhesive on the bottom won't bother you if you program to stick the pad on somewhere once and in no way move it again, but the residue it left and the noise it makes is a total dealbreaker for me.

Stays on the desk were you need it to stay. Lightweight. Fantastic surface for optical and laser mice, it keeps a good track with the laser. Feels superior moving the mouse across the pas and gives a lot more control Can generate bends in the flimsy material if your not careful and makes the pad almost unuseable following that. This is my second one since the very first 1 i had got creases at the leading and wouldn't remain in location any longer. Possibly too pricey with the cost of shipping but worth the income other than that.

Comment:
The only thing people should be aware of is that this is a thin as paper mouse pad. It is for people who dont want a huge heavy thing on their desk but want a smooth track on the desk which the mouse can be used on for gaming.

RAZER Sphex Gaming Grade Desktop Skin
Cons: Adhesive ( Re-usability may be limited)

Pros: ThinGreat surface for mousing.
Comment:
I purchased this locally. Got tired of wearing down the veneer on my MDF keyboard tray =). The first one I purchased had an adhesive that seemed to have dried out as it would not adhere to any surface. The second one I purchased was fine but it was still far too easy to lift if my keyboard bumped against it or my mouse went off the edge of the skin. A little packing tape solved that and it has been fine since! Definitely don't want to be moving it around to different surfaces frequently as I think the adhesive will not last. Nice luxurious mousing surface, well worth the money.

Cons: none :)

Pros: great surface for gaming and general use, doesn't slide or feel cheap
Comment:
I bought one of these locally for $0.70 more then it's advertised here. I didn't know it was a "desktop skin" when I bought it, I didn't bother reading the front, I just needed something bigger then my previous mouse pad. overall this is great, it's not as big and bulky as my last one, and is noticably bigger leaving more room to move the mouse around, I have a old "wood" partical board desk, and i've had this for about two weeks now, it hasn't moved around on me, it hasn't lost it's "stickiness" or anything. I would recommend it, and would buy again. It has a lot better tracking them my previous foamy "gaming" mouse pad from a competitive companyfor $16.30 pick it up at reg price, if you can price match it... even better, don't cheap out and get a $1.00 mouse pad from the dollar store, buy a Razer Sphex.

Cons: Adhesive was not as good as I had hope so the mouse pad still had a tendency of wanting to move

Pros: Very thin, not raised from the desktop surface so it doesn't obstruct other things
Comment:
Great surface for gaming and general use. Using it with a Logitech Performance MX. I did however have to use some thin double sided tape to keep it in place.

Cons: Does not adhere to table properlyDoes not stay flat (probably due to first point)Repositioning the mat after a few months should be avoided at all costs...

Pros: ThinRelatively cheap
Comment:
More or less, it was a pain to use from day one. I had a nice clean spot on my glass table to lay down, but it never really stuck. When I tried to reposition it recently, the adhesive stuck to my table leaving the mat to slide freely. Now it's more or less a piece of paper sliding around my desk... at least it still tracks well enough.I'll robably go with a mat that has a nice rubber bottom from now on.Hmm, need more details for my low rating apparently... so here's what I didStep 1: cleaned table top from dust and debrisStep 2: took pad out of packagingStep 3: removed plastic cover on back of mouse padStep 4: placed mat on to table and pressed firmly on it to make it secure it in place(failed)Step 5: used my half stuck on pad for 5 monthsStep 6: tried to reposition pad (failed)Step 7: write a review about experiencesStep 8: clean dried adhesive off table...Things to take away from this? Be careful. Maybe I expected too much from a Razer product at this price point, their speakers are nice enough... maybe because it uses rubber feet for the bottoms.

Cons: -you can kind of hear the pad sticking and unsticking as you move the mouse around. not sure if its my desk surface though

Pros: -as the name implies, as thin as you can get-sticks to your desk very well-extremely smooth gliding of the mouse
Comment:
paired with a Razer Copperhead and the sensitivity and precision is out of this world compared to an old Intellimouse on a faded everglide pad. i know this pad is making a huge difference as with the bare desk or my old pad my precision isn't even close to the same.

With my surface, i can hear the pad sticking and unsticking.... this sound is a little anoying but with headphones on and in-game, you don't really matter anymore since you don't hear it at all. Using it with my Razer DiamondBack 3G Infared sensor.
