Having already owned a Razer mouse (Naga Hex), I decided to buy this mouse on sale for 50$ as I just bought a new laptop. I didn't want any of those ridiculous new "ergonomic" trackpads/mice, or a wireless mouse (even though the Orochi looked great too), so I went for something simple and effective. This mouse is the best "simple" gaming mouse ever. Pinpoint accuracy, registers every single little movement of your hand, and clicks with just the right amount of pressure. Also looks good, feels good, and well, it is good! |

Cons:The scroll wheel. It is noisy to scroll up with, and you can notice by shaking the mouse a bit from left to right that the mouse has a loose scroll wheel. It's not that big of a deal but I am guessing this is why the mouse is now discontinued.Green leds don't fit many builds, poor choice.

I bought the 2013 Deathadder to replace my getting old 3.5G Deathadder. I was a bit skeptical about how much of an upgrade it would be. After using the mouse for a week I can definitely say it's a very nice upgrade over the previous model. The mouse now has nice rubberized grip on both sides, the scroll wheel is a lot better. It feels lighter in the hand than the 3.5g and the texture of the paint feel a lot better. Another thing that is nice is that the mousewheel and razer logo are now lit by green LEDs instead of blue ones. I find it looks a lot nice.I also do notice a performance increase over the 3.5G. The 2013 has a much better sensor and higher DPI. I'm 100% noticing an increase in my click accuracy in RTS games.Good buy, would recommend to anyone looking for a good performing gaming mouse. |

Best mouse ever owned. Switched to the Deathadder2013 from another Razer product (Diamondback3G)and cannot be happier. The right handed shape is perfect, even though I was used to ambidextrous mice and the braided cable is really nice. I love the mouse shape and size, bigger than your average mouse but not humongous -very easy to get used to. |

Very responsive mouse, sleek, feels good in my hand. Very pleased with the mouse. One of the best, most affordable gaming mice out there.
