Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons:-The glossy finish on the sides is not a very good choice-Could've been a bit bigger-A bit expensive

Pros:-Very responsive-Great button placement-Comfortable-Durable braided cord-Subtle but still awesome lighting-This being a razer product it of course has great packaging
Comment:
I originally bought this to play WoW and thinking I would switch back to my trusty Logitech G5 for playing FPS and web surfing but really I can't. This thing is just great for gaming in general. If only Razer would make a bigger version, this would be the perfect gaming mouse.

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Comment:
- Really feel: Fits my hand perfectly, and I'm 6Ɖ" with substantial hands; the grip is plastic with the slightest bit of rubber to give it a wonderful adhesion- Buttons: A total of 12 thumb buttons and 4 clickable buttons and the scroll wheel (which can be clicked as a 5th input). What's terrific is that each and every single button can be customized to a wide variety of pre-programmed utilizes (about 20), mostly from a lot of frequent RPG/WoW command combinations. Every direction of the scroll wheel has a a lot more limited menu of perhaps 6-8 distinct commands, but one of these is the command that all 19 buttons have in their sub-menu: Macro. With the Macro command, you can nearly throw your keyboard away but to move with. For standard use on my PC, it opens links in new tabs, kills tabs/windows, mutes/controls volume, cut/copy/pastes, pre-set paste my e-mail, it goes on.... [There are no Cons whatsoever; I'll promptly cover what's not mentioned in the above breakdown:- it is Incredibly durable for such a fragile seeking mouse- the ๠ cost tag is a bargain for art like this (the software puts it over the best)- it can hold all different profiles that can be pre-set so that every single time WoW begins, my WoW profile replaces my Laptop or computer profile- the wire is produced of tough nylon and will not split on you (plenty long too)- lastly, it doesn't mark up quickly, it is ever-fairly and eye catching, although I personally would spend the additional ฟ on the new version with the lava graphics and colors from Cataclysm :DThe above Pro list is continued below....Whilst I still maintain ctrl/alt/shift on the keyboard, all other commands go by means of the mouse; I control 3 hotbars of 12 buttons each and every using only the numb - Weight: This is not a heavy mouse, but has plenty of heft to give it the solid feeling you need in a mouse, particularly 1 that sets you back ๠.- Software program (!!!!!): If you play WoW or any game with a potentially large number of inputs and input combos via ctrl/alt/shift, then you could just cry when you see the interface program included with this mouse. Each tiny thing can be tweaked and the addition of macros to all 19 inputs makes the prospective of this mouse limited only by your memory of the buttons.- This mouse includes "training" pieces that you stick to any of the 12 thumb buttons or the two index finger buttons; these are a set of little circles as well as a set of button-shaped pieces of rubber that stick nicely and support you reach the harder buttons until it becomes 2nd nature.- Lighting: LEDs are not only stunning and customizable (each of the three zones can be patterned individually or turned off)Best income I ever spent, hands down.

Comfy , Customizable and Functional , I loved the idea behind this mouse having the 12 thumb buttons for playing mmo games which is my hobby. The mouse isn't too significant or tiny but excellent for my hand and is rather comfortable. I give it 1 Egg for the style and idea and 1 Egg for its comfort here is the deal breaker , The mouse only lasted three months just before beginning to have issues with the left click button from time to time the button will function at times it will double click when I click it once , sometimes it will not work at all .. I have by no means in 10-12 years had a mouse go poor on me and have utilized practically just about every other brand for anywhere from 1-5 years. this mouse has been a key frustration. I've spoken to other players in games that have had comparable problems to mine with buttons working erratically or not at all and sadly do to this I would most likely not advise this mouse to anybody that cares about reliability. Would expect some thing this costly to last me much more than a year absolutely nothing much less. Its very attainable that my mouse was defective from the begin and didn't begin having complications until a few weeks ago , as I mentioned it worked fine for three months then the left click started having problems. Left click is the most regularly utilised button on a mouse and to me it appears like poor durability as i've had mice last for five+ years with no troubles.

Comment:
Very responsive, pretty much too significantly. I had to turn the dpi down on this mouse immediately after playing with it. Buttons worked flawless for me even without having loading the WOW add-on. I got mine from a retail store. I had the older Steelseries mouse that is a bit larger. I figured I would give this a try instead of attempting to discover the new buttons on the new Steelseries one. Extremely easy to pickup and use correct out of the box. The only complaint I have is that the mouse is a small on the smaller side especially compared to the steelseries one. If you have larger hands like I do it takes a little finding applied to. I do genuinely like this, on the other hand. If Razor would make this is in a slightly bigger format that would be fantastic

Waited four weeks to review. Amazing packaging, easy set up. This mouse is a must for mmo gaming. Razer states most users will need 18 hours to get used to it, was second nature for me after about 4. I could never go back to keyboard binds.

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons: The cord is rope (tangles easily), scroll wheel is weak at best, hurts hand after a while

Pros: Easy to reach buttons, lights up for easy reading, kinda ergonomic
Comment:
I use it for WoW and normal computing. The extra buttons are nice to have but the first row is a bit awkward to use. It makes the mouse want to slide out from under your palm. the scroll wheel is REALLY weak. On the other hand, the lights are nice and the mouse feels o.k. I wouldn't want to use it for more than an hour as it starts to cramp your hand. Im giving it 4 stars as it works well for what it is, but it has room for improvement (a lot of room)

The best thing I can say about this mouse, is that I can no longer play an MMO without it. I think that should pretty much tell you how much I love it and how much I think its a 'must-buy' for any MMO player. You will not go back.

Cons: Hard to get used to.

Pros: Lots of buttons for easy mmo key pad access.Nice blue back light.
Comment:
I received this as a gift. I find the buttons hard to get used to. The mouse works great when used, but its one of those items that if you master it, your game play will increase 10 fold. If you are in the other group. The mouse will be used as a basic mouse and the buttons and functions will never get used.

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons: Side buttons are a little akward, as are the forward and back.

Pros: Well built, tracks well, good shape for my hand.
Comment:
So far I am pleased with this mouse. I was replacing a Logitech G7, which i really liked, but was getting old and failing. This tracks really well, on my very beat up desk surface. I love the feel of clicking compared to my old one. The side buttons will be very usefull once i bind them all, only used a couple so far. Only thing i dont like is the placement of the side vuttons and forward/back. The last row I have to bend my thumb all the way back to get, I think it would be better if the buttons were moved forward one row, because at rest, my thumb in a little in front of the first row. Also the forward/back, are almost useless as you have to strain your index finger to push them.

Great mouse, improved reaction time
Comment:
I like the placements of the buttons for thumb access, it's given my other hand more freedom as far as movement and having to rely on alt or shift keys. It may take a while, but once you have the buttons memorized you don't even have to think when pressing specific keys Don't expect to use all of the buttons. 11 and 12 buttons are hard to reach in heated pvp or encounters. Unless you're double jointed, avoid those. Also, the two buttons next to the left click mouse are useless. Most of the time I end up shifting my thumbs from position, or left clicking anyway.

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons:Small (even for my smaller hands), not very ergonomic, some buttons in hard to reach locations, WoW interface is weaker version of Dominos addon

Pros:Many buttons for quickly accessing skills.
Comment:
I am completely divided on this mouse right now. So much so that I continue to have two mice hooked up. One for my everyday tasks and basic gaming and the Naga for PvPing in WoW. Having all those buttons is great for the hectic fast paced action of PvP in World of Warcraft. Unfortunately that is the only strength I can find in this mouse.I use a Logitech MX1000 at home and at work as it I find it light years ahead of the Naga in terms of ergonomics. So much so that in using the Naga I quickly start to get soreness in the base of my wrist/palm area which I would get when using non-ergonomic mice. The index finger buttons at the top top left of the mouse are hard and awkward to reach. For such a small mouse I find myself having to reach for them due to the downward slope of the end of the mouse. These two buttons would have been better placed on the right side of the mouse. The WoW addon for the mouse is a more limited version of the Dominos Addon for WoW. I currently use Dominos for my button re-arrangement and will continue to do so.I am neutral on the 12 button layout on the side. They seem to be well placed in that my thumb sits right in the middle of the 4,5, 7,8 area. I do find it tough to hit the higher placed buttons 3, 6, 9 and 12. The outer edge of the mouse is convex which goes against the convex design of ones thumb makign you have to roll awkwardly to hits some buttons. I think if they designed the mouse to have a concave effect similar to the MX1000 and lowered the button placement, you could hit 1,4,7 and 10 with the outer edge of your thumb making the design more effective. It is not a horrible mouse, but I don't consider it great either. I give it a satisfactory This review was modfied by poster @ 12-30-09 09:43 AM

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons:Lots of buttons.. >_> Not enough customization, a bit big, but not too big for my small hands.

Pros:Lots of buttons, well built, looks decent
Comment:
Bought this mouse because I was interested in the WoW MMO Mouse, but seeing how shoddily built it is, I decided against it. Knowing Razers well established name, and after watching the NCIX video... I decided to instantly buy one. The mouse is a bit big, since it has all the buttons... I can reach them all, but 11 and 12 are a bit awkward... hitting them with the bottom of my thumb seems fine though. As others have mentioned... it's going to take a long time to get used to. So far I haven't been able to use it much in combat, since I'm used to my KB... but I can tell you this, when you do get used to it... it'll take even longer to get un-used to it, so expect to buy many more of these in the future! My one gripe is the non customization, which is supposedly going to be fixed in the future. If it is, I think this mouse is perfect - Works and feels good.

Razer Naga Mmo Gaming Mouse 17 Button 5600DPI 3.5G Laser Sensor USB
Cons:- Button 4 and 5 are not well placed- no customization for Buttons 4 and 5 nor for keypad- cant really use it for other types of games(FPS mostly)- Learning curve is a bit steapper then advertized

Pros:- Great for MMO- Buttons are not as hard to get to as people assume- Confortable feel when using it
Comment:
Overall if your a mmo player, this mouse is a must have. Its makes playing a lot more enjoyable. Learning to use it will not take a few hours...its more like a few weeks. Its one thing to know which button your pressing but its another to no have to think about it before you push it. As for using this mouse for other types of games, its not that it isnt possible, its more that it just doesnt feel natural. Playing a FPS, there are just too many side buttons(there is no time to think in a fPS..its kill or be killed)but on the other hand this mouse can be good to plat RTS games since you use the numbers often. So if you buy this mouse, dont be ready to get rid of your old one right yet because it might still be needed for other games. using the keypad, people are affraid that number pad will be too small..GET THE IDEA out of your head...Razer actually did a fine job with the number pad. with the space between the buttons and the reference buttons, you will a never press multiple buttons once you learn to use the mouse. The only cons are the fact that you cant program the number pad to letters or macros nor can you program the buttons 4 and 5(which are also badly place on the mouse)

Cons:could actually use more buttons. The right side of the mouse could handle 2-3 more.some buttons if used as a main attack would become uncomfortable quickly.

Pros:The number of buttons as well as easy macroing for them to be 1 to = or the number pad.

This mouse or one like it is a must have for anyone who plays MMO's and doesn't want do spend days tinkering with their keyboard layout.
