Functions, good top quality. The cable had a noticeable kink in it as if it was bent 90 degrees. At first I believed it was due to carrier mishandling, but the replacement had the identical damage. I was almost certainly just unlucky to obtain two pinched cables. Newegg client service rocks. |

Definitely improves speed, and looks to be effectively shielded compared to my older Cat 5es None so far Immediately after realizing most of my hardware is now gigabit, I was surprised to see speed improvements in the three' Cat 6 cable I bought a handful of months ago. So at the price this tends to make an unbeatable upgrade. The 14' distance carries my router the length of my desk and over to the switch, and the second one particular I purchased does a good job of snaking its way over to my home server. |
