Adds stability and a bit much better strength to my wireless connection massive, but you can't have a 5dbi antenna inside a usb card. Fantastic value. Would obtain it once again. Use it with a rosewill RNX-G1, a very good adapter for the price

None. I broke the antenna on my Buffalo router, so I purchased this Rosewill antenna that looks nearly specifically like the Buffalo original. Apparently, the antenna is not connected to the screw-on connector. The router did not operate at a distance of ten feet. I put the router exactly where I won't bump it once more, with the original Buffalo antenna balanced precariously on it--it operates just fine. It's not worth RMA'ing a บ item. Cheep Functions wonderful I have it atttached to my ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition motherboard the a single that came with the mother board wire broke.This 1 hook directly to the back of the computer case functions considerably superior. None so far I wish I did this long time ago.

My wifi signal improved from Poor with 1. mb/s connection to Incredibly Very good with 54 mb/s connection within a few seconds of attaching the new antenna. None.

Rapid and simple to install. Replaced the missing antennae on the card I received from an auction. The reality that I purchased a card from an Auction and didn't notice that it didn't come with the antennae.

In comparison to the antenna that came with the Rosewill wifi card...none. Affordable enough in the wifi PCI card combo deal to not be too major of a loss. I get a weaker signal than what I get with the antenna that came with the Rosewill wifi card. I feel that it should at least get an equally robust signal as the stock antenna but it turns out to be weaker. Number wise, I get 95-100% signal with the stock and 75-90% with this 1. Yes, the signal varies a lot too. And yes it is at a 90 degree angle from the card and perfectly vertical. I have experimented with many directions...it just doesn’t compare to the stock antenna.

Provides a smaller boost depending upon positioning. Worked the very same as stock in my computers initial location, when I shifted issues about the stock antenna dropped to two bars and this remained at fourǛ. None. Came cost-free with my wifi card and provided some added flexibility for pc placement, quite satisfied.

n/a All cons no pros! I gotta say I'm not happy with this item. I purchased a Buffalo Tech wireless router and decided what the heck I'll get the antenna for a little additional ump. Well needless to say I hooked it up and the signal was almost non existent. The distance from my router to the wireless device was round 25 feet and absolutely nothing. Thank got I kept the stock antenna mainly because when I switched I had virtually full signal. Sorry Rosewill your Omni antenna is only superior for 2 factors: no great and superior for nothing.

Properly, this makes a decent replacement for existing antennas, it's properly built and low-cost, wish they had these at nearby shops. but it's fundamentally the identical, doesn't enhance signal at all more than the stock linksys antenna that i had of the identical size. If your connection is a bit flaky, I'd suggest going for the larger one.

.. .. This item is sometimes listed with Linksys WRT54G as an accessory, but it is NOT compatible. This item has a reverse-SMA connector (properly documented on the Specifications page). The Linksys WRT54G and most other Linksys access points with detachable antennas use a reverse TNC connector, which is not documented on the WRT54G page. Caveat Emptor.
