Nice design, looks excellent when you open the situation. Built very nicely. A bit noisy if you are attempting to sleep but you wont notice it much when actually working with the computer system. It gets fairly warm so make sure you have very good cooling. I have owned this PS for over two years now and it has worked superb because I installed it. I purchased it for a new gaming pc I was creating and it has had no issues powering my machine. I will appear at a much more potent model for my subsequent machine.

-great piano black finish-excellent packing-has 3 fan speed controls(low, usual and high)-quite darn quiet at usual speed -great blue L.E.D -not modular, but i won't deduct an egg for that-the wires are a bit lengthy and thick and can get in the way of airflow, but you can simply move them or tie them if required.uhhhhhh, doesn't make me breakfast? that's about it Purchased this energy supply back in Christmas 2008 and it's nevertheless operating powerful !I use to hear undesirable items about Rosewill, but these guys actually make decent stuff + their buyer service is exceptional. this power provide can power a mid range gaming rig quickly, but if you're going for the core i7/ gtx 470 or a radeon HD5870 route, you may well wanna get some thing superior than this.

Uncomplicated to set up. Has just about each connection you could ask for. Massive range. Not seriously a con, but man it has tons of connections. I only used four for my personal computer and had to stuff the rest in the corner of the Computer. Great for the price!

Mine was quiet even on "high" speed fan (where I left it). If it gets noisy later, I can usually stick it on "auto" speed selection. This machine is a SaMBa server (redHat Linux), http server, domain controller, mass storage and also sometimes telnet into it to run some specialty application. It runs in an office/spare bedroom that is really quiet, so base your "quiet" guidelines on that. Ample connector range and length. The machine in question has 5 cooling fans, and the only one that makes any noise is the filtered input fan, which is 150mm. It also runs two fans on the the CPU and has 4 internal lights. I can sleep in the office just fine. Will run just about any motherboard or system you throw at it, except probably really significant high finish dual PCI-e equipped systems. I like the overload and thermal protection constructed into the provide (or so say the directions). Came with energy cord, screws and wire wraps. None so far! We'll see how it goes. Generally, none of the four machines here ever get turned off, and this is a middle of the road power provide. Last 1 went 3 years ahead of it died. Time will inform.

Good energy for great price. It has 2 graphics energy connectors 1 eight pin and 1 6ư pin connector.. that's wonderful for mine.. i've got the 9800GTX+ and it has to have two 8 pins.. though i did see a few cards require a 6 and eight pin... none

Looks and feels extremely strong, compared to the stock HP PSU that came with my Pc this one particular looks like it will last me a couple of years. Blue fan if you care (I'm not actually a fan of side panels and such.). 600W is additional than sufficient to energy the typical gaming rig, so acquire with confidence unless you're going to SLI or Crossfire. Installed with zero problems so far other than the initial couple of hours...Lots of wiring, just got a HD 5770 and it hooked up effortlessly with no problems to that along with every little thing else on my older computer system. When installed, everything was straightforward, then more than the subsequent couple of hours my pc would just turn off at completely random times and restart. It happened following two hours of just internet surfing, then thirty seconds into the start out up screen. Hasn't done it due to the fact and it's been two or 3 weeks considering that I got it. Don't think I saw this challenge posted in any other reviews, doubt it actually happens often if at all generally. I don't really know all the differences about voltage rails, 6 or 8 pins, SATA connectors and so forth. I just know the fundamentals on Computer elements so excuse my ignorance in posting this.

A lot of connectors, in particular for SATA. Meshed cables are usually fantastic. Gunmetal finish is incredibly classy and blends into and case properly. The LED fan isn't obnoxious, provides a incredibly subtle glow. Haven't had any troubles other than a grinding/screeching ball bearing on the fan. Just employed some compressed air and blew the dust out, sounded fine after that. Owned one particular for 2 years that has powered two systems, one of which was an SLI setup for about eight to twelve hours a day. A lot of surges and power outages in that time period and this supply is nevertheless rock solid! Lately purchased another a single simply because I was so impressed. Wonderful acquire!

I am an IT guru and former semiconductor engineer. I like to test my items out and push them to the limits; you've got to have some entertaining here and there. On my second motherboard/setup with no issues with the similar power provide.Current setup is rock solid:ASUS P5QL/EPUIntel Core2Duo E6600 (original)(running solid at 2.98 GHz with stock cooler2 GB PQI 25400 ƒ X 1 GB, running at 2v)Hacked older ATI firegl processor; working with 1 sli power connector and huge cooling fan(video card o/c 200 MHz over stockƜ IDE DVD1 SATA HDnumerous of other cards & drivesWinXP Pro xp3, Ubuntu, FedoraThis Pc can run for months with no reboot and no crashes; I am a power user. I do intense design/web style/ coding/ audio recording. None except when fan is placed in "high" mode; it's rather noisy; also noisy for audio engineering (in space). But not really a con simply because supply has under no circumstances heated up with the significant fan on regular operation; no want for high speed. No undesirable afterthought of making use of this model. I've been working with Rosewill PS for years in 100's of computers, with about 98% long term good results.

Looks excellent, quiet. Commonly does what it's supposed to. Died soon after 2.5 years. Not sure if it took out the CPU, memory but. The item has a three year warranty, but it's not clear how to make contact with Rosewill for a replacement - I'll update the evaluation when the conditions resolves.

Offers plenty of cables and juice to power a great gaming technique. I was conscious of the blue LEDs and the non-modular cables so I can't take an egg off for these Be aware that if your case is configured for a bottom mounted PSU that the optimum orientation is with the PSU fan facing down. It's a fantastic concept to have vents currently in the base of the tower to let the PSU to breath.I mention this because you can see that the cables exit the top left of the PSU(in the product photographs). The PSU orientation determines if you can conceal all of the cables in the tower or if one has to arch more than the video card to the cpu's plug...The second motherboard cable(the tiny 4 pin) barely went by means of and beneath the cable management spaces on my tower and only created it since I had the PSU's vents facing down in my casw.I hope that made some sense...

Runs cool & quiet with big 120mm fan, shiny metal housing looks & feels high-finish, cables are wrapped & have lots of length for cable management behind mobo, speed settings are a nice feature but "Auto" setting is all you need to have, compact size for tiny instances, blue LEDs appear fantastic and aren't as well bright. There are a lot of cables (pro) but cables aren't modular so you're going to have to stuff them behind the motherboard or anything if you want it to appear good. Blue LED can't be turned off, so it may well be a con for some. I have a blue/red color scheme in my case, so it looks great to me. This PSU has been powering my Intel Q9400 @ three.2GHz, overclocked ATi 4870, Xonar DX sound card, WD Caviar Black, and five case fans all inside my Coolmaster Storm Scout for 17 months with out a difficulty. My computer is on at least 18 hours of the day and from time to time stays on all night. I would very suggest this PSU. Rosewill could not be a name brand, but they nevertheless make very good merchandise.

Simple, straightfoward, no overt issues, not loud. I've had a motherboard and two sticks of memory die on me with this power provide. No more memory matters given that I stopped OC'ing but I was not OC'ing aggressively at all, plus, my OC settings had been completely strain tested ahead of everyday use. I don't have the tools to point the blame squarely at the power, so I can only say I suspect it's with the power supply. Its the property brand afterall, you get what you spend for.do can lock down the issue at the Power Supply but I strongly suspect that

Through this in my 3rd pc to use at the office. Blue light is good. I run a computer repair firm and would advocate this power provide and manufacturer any day. I use corsair in my bigger builds but this is good for virtually anything typical users would need. Got it for 50 bucks with free of charge shipping, difficult to beat that! None.
