Rosewill RTK-002 Anti-Static Wrist Strap

The cable is stretchy so great for shorter and longer distances. It's just appropriate I discovered.It does it's job; I'm typing on the new computer system and it isn't fried! It would be nice if the clip gripped greater; as soon as or twice it unclipped. So lengthy as you reclip just before a lot static builds up it won't genuinely matter.

Well made, simple to assemble, has a fan which helps control heat when employing a higher RPM drive. Laptop recognized it promptly and was able to save photographs of christmas party's for my brother's winery that he thought he had lost when the computer system the drive was in died. Fans a tiny loud but not a significant con as you can disconnect quickly and not use if the drive doesn't heat up. First Rosewill item I have bought but shouldn't be the final as I am pleased so far.

This strap seems to function (i.e. I didn't static-destroy any pieces whilst putting almost everything together). Nonetheless, I do reside in Florida where the humidity makes this result fairly unlikely anyway. For the strap itself, it is comfy and stretches far and very easily. I usually forgot I was wearing it. If you are around non-techy folks, you will get made exciting of... Like I stated, it is hard for me to say whether this strap worked or not offered the circumstances I utilised it in. I can say for sure that the strap did not result in any issues itself, and given the comfort of the strap, I'd still advise it, just to be safe.

It's good and low-cost. What far more could you want? The wrist strap is a tad bit tight but it is comfy.

Extremely good item. Aids defend the way it really should. Strap could be alittle bit longer. If you have a biger wrist it could not match. It just barely produced it about my wrist.

This is an excellent solution, and worth absolutely everyone in IT owning it. It's preety light but of extremely higher quality. If each and every tech would think about getting a Rosewill RKT Anit-Static wrist strap there will be very few emergencies amoung us.

Initial make. I was definitely nervous simply because I kept reading (with just about every single portion ive looked at) all these persons that had DOA components and I figured they have been just frying them and blaming the manufactorer.. so i bought one of these. Nothing went incorrect with my create. Every thing performs completely and so did this wrist strap. no sir

Gave me peace of mind. A small uncomfortable. Utilised it for my my initially computer system develop. Why not spend a tiny for a thing like this. I mean, seriously, your developing a computer system that's costing you hundreds of dollars and additional, why not thoroughly guard it from static discharge.

my dog got a new collar even after reading the polethra of postings saying no continuity I was dumb sufficient to purchase it anyway. Open the package, test the lead and confident enough no continuity. This is just the lead, not connected to the wrist band, just the lead. Come on, how difficult is it to put alligator clip and a snap on a piece of great insulated wire. How about some high quality control please. Way too numerous complaints about this for there not to be some significant manufacturing troubles. This is my 1st poor critique and I have spent thousands of dollars with newegg more than the previous three years with several builds.

Good shipping, ordered this past tuesday, arrived friday. This was a freebie from the egg, and the method components I ordered with preferred shipping, will take 1 week to arrive. Thats what I genuinely wanted these days.Terrible order processing, I pray any of the parts perform when they arrive in a week or so. I assume the anti static wrist strap functions, this would be funny if I weren't so disappointed.

It came free of charge with my case. Nothing at all got fried on my new construct, so I assume it did it's job. Low cost, not really comfy, and the cord could have been longer. Would not purchase, but for free, hey, I can't complain!

Excellent clip for keeping static off even though you perform. Clip is a small weird to place on particular situations. Good for maintaining your laptop or computer parts protected.

Great anti static wrist strap for a superior price A little snug on my wrist. Some men and women have pointed out troubles with this strap. I have had no troubles with it at all.

Fantastic Item. The strap was additional comfy then i was expecting. I tested with a ohm meter and read wonderful. The wire removes from both the wrist strap and the clamp. The clamp itself has a lot of straight in it. I don't think you can ask for anything additional. None Can we get it in pink...? :S

It's affordable, LOOKS useful. It isn't truly functional. I have had this replaced twice, and none of them have an electrical connection, tested with a multimeter. I have a suspicion that all, or most of them are faulty, and nobody notices. It delivers no protection at all if there is no connection to discharge the static!

Nothing at all got shocked in the procedure. Cord is not as long as i would have liked and the clamp is truly tight and might harm some circumstances paint.

It Operates! What can I say? None of my hardware that I handled have been ESD damaged so far at all. none that I know of...

GET THIS STRAP! It's substantially much better to spend less than บ for a strap than to threat paying 񘈨+ for some element that got damaged by a static shock you didn't even really feel! GET THIS STRAP! None, GET THIS STRAP! Did I mention... GET THIS STRAP!

I guess it functions. I under no circumstances had a situation with static but it's very good to have. Wish is had a padded clip so I can attach it to my case devoid of possibly scratching it. None
