Based on Newegg client evaluations, I decided to go with this card, and I am not disappointed. My old card was barely in a position to run Civ five on minimum settings at 1024x768. With the 5570 I can run the game at medium settings, 1440x900 res with very couple of hiccups, and even at medium the distinction is quite remarkable. Haven't attempted higher settings however and I anticipate that it could be pushing the card too far, but maybe not. Overall it raised my Vista graphics score from a 4.8 to a five.7, Aero efficiency from a three.5 to a 5.9! Purchased this card for a server operating Win Server 2008. It stated, "low profile ready video card" so I figured it would operate with Server 08. Out of the box I uninstall the old ATI drivers (x800), depower, install the new card, boot up. So far so superior; I go to the ATI web page and find the most up-to-date drivers and d/l them, install them, and the OS won't recognize the card lol. No matter what I do. An hour later, I was about to pull the card when I believed, "what the heck, I'll put in the CD that came with this 5570 and see if that works". Shockingly, it worked lol. The program now recognizes the card, and we can push our resolution all the way up. I did read on an unrelated web page to NOT install the Catalyst suite on Server 08; and I noticed the Sapphire CD only installed the vid drivers and skipped the Cat Suite. Hope this assists..We are incredibly satisfied with this card, and program to purchase much more for our servers. Couldn't be happier...

Cost, efficiency none definitely Do not obtain this card for Lenovo M58 SFF desktops. There is something incompatible. I suspect that it is Lenovo no getting totally compliant with PCI-e. This card will trigger a no boot in this machine. I utilised it and it works very properly with our HP 6000pro MT machines.

Quiet, effortless to install, windows default drivers worked ideal, excellent price, amazing graphics. It recommends a 400 Watt PS, but works fine with a 250 Watt PS. This is a lot of card for the dollar. Put this in my son’s new Dell 580S and he is incredibly pleased with the game play graphics. It doubled his graphic ratings on several mmo that he plays. It says that it recommends a 400 Watt PS but it runs smoothly on a 250 Watt PS.

Straightforward install. Quiet. Low to moderate heat generation. Best for low-profile chassis. Top quality + Cost = Good item.See other thoughts for individual thoughts/experiences. None yet. I own a Gateway SX2851 low-profile pc. I replaced the on-board graphics with this card. Prior to this I was operating WoW on low, now I can very easily run it on high/ultra settings with 30኎fps. Also, Rift was practically impossible prior to this card. Now I have the settings on high and it's gorgeous. CoD-MW runs on med/high perfectly. All this with no other upgrades. The open vent above the PCI express slot in the Gateway chassis is great for ventilation. After playing WoW for about four hours straight I checked the chassis for heat production and it was almost unnoticeable. All this with even though becoming near silent. Excellent item for the income and any individual with a low-profile chassis searching to replace their on-board graphics can very easily do so with this PCI Express video card.

Card looks good has low profile adapter runs fairly cool hdmi. Drivers are bit funny with latest drivers and control center I keep getting preview crashes when I attempt to adjust video settings in control center the small flying flag preview won't even come up just gos black and crashes control center. I also have problems playin games by way of direct3d driver in particular emulators. Also what the heck is up with the amd 1Ǘ.1 audio device filter on install could not use any of my midi controllers it was driving me crazy. Did a reinstall and noticed it is part of the amd ati install. Why would anybody want to filter out there 1/ 1.1 audio devices. I hope I didn't get a lemon seems ok but also appears like I could be left with a card that doesn't even work with its own control center hopefully they fix this

Low Energy usage, it have it in an old dell gx280 SFF, 160 watt ps!will run some games on low settings at 1920x1200No difficulty playing 1080p content material in XBMC.Excellent for my wife to use on that a PC i paid ุ for. price, doesn't appear like it would be significantly of an improvement over 1 of the ์ cards but i cant complain.when using the low profile bracket, the HDMI port is quite close to the top so some situations could have an issue getting a cable connected, mine was a close fit. good buy, would get once more. upgrade from 3450 in dell slim line, brought window score up from three.4 to 5.7. Plays blu-ray without hick ups via 55 sammi lcd. Like the audio driver that lets you configure upto 7.1 sound by way of HDMI. does have a noticeable sound shutter problems playing movies. idon't have problem in playing games although.. Not sure what causes this difficulty, I hope it can be fixed by subsequent driver update. I am going to keep it for an additional week until i uncover out about this.

Lots of bang for your buck. I got it on sale, with a rebate and in a combo with a processor I was going to purchase anyway - it was inexpensive. Does a great job with the eye candy in Windows, accelerating video and doing some light gaming. Minimal power use - runs fine on my 380w PS, with no need for a separate PCIe power connector. A couple of bucks additional will get you a a lot far more capable gaming card. Capable of DX11, but doesn't have enough mustard to play something with the settings high sufficient to notice a difference with DX11. This card is great if you want one thing low profile, inexpensive and/or with a modest power load. But have reasonable expectations about its limits.

Where do I start... it runs amazingly cool even when overclocked to 700뭎 (and apparently it can go higher, despite the fact that Afterburner doesn't like that). Idles at about 45C and only maxes at 60 under load. Draws insanely low power, my PSU is only like 280w 鳴 on the lowest rail!) and it can power this baby perfectly. Quite effortless to install, all I had to do was pop it in and install some drivers from ATI's web site. Runs Significant Sam HD maxed out at 1440x900 with 8x AA and 16x AF, giving a nearly-excellent 60fps with my outdated Athlon X2 4600+ and only 3GB of RAM. I CAN SEE THE WEAR AND TEAR ON MY SHOTGUN! Enormous upgrade from my integrated graphics, WEI (Vista 32) in 3D graphics went from 2. to five.9, and it also bumped memory up to four.! My 360 is louder than my personal computer. I occasionally get screen rippling problems even though playing games, but I'm thinking it has a lot more to do with my VGA cable than the GPU. So great I forgot to eat until 8pm. Acquire it. Now. You will NOT regret it. It's definitely ambrosial. I am seriously impressed by ATI's new lineup, and I utilized to be a Nvidia fanboy.

I have tried a couple of unique low profile video cards in my slimline Acer Aspire X1700 case and this card is the most silent, cool, and very best overall PQ of all of them. The Nvidia G100 that came with the X1700 had decent 1080i PQ, but it had some noticeable lag in Win7 MCE. I tried the ECS Arctic Cooling Nvidia GT220 low profile and it was a little too noisy and had sleep problems causing blank screens on wakeup. I ended up selling it immediately after a week and and tried the low profile MSI GT220. It's fan was excessively loud even at minimum RPM so I sent it back to Newegg. I decided to get this ATI 5570 based on feedback and I will in no way look back. It is totally silent and runs about 50C in my crapped case during HD playback. The 1080i OTA HDTV deinterlacing PQ employing all post processing features is the very best I have observed quickly beating my Nvidia GT220 and 9500GT. I have decided to replace my passive 9500GT with a HIS 5670 card because of it. This is my 1st ATI card and I am impressed! NONE!
