SILVERSTONE FN121-BL Blue LED Case Fan
Comment:
Bright blue LED lighting, whisper quiet After a month, 1 of the fan's LEDs has been blinking at me...it's bad. Also, there is a discernable axis wobble to the fan. It requires to be replaced.Attempting to figure out Silverstone's RMA method on their web-site is futile, given that I'm beyond the Egg return period by a month. Much more hassle than it's worth. I bought a 120mm and two 200mm blue lit LED fans from Silverstone to replace the ones included with my Silverstone Raven RV01-BW tower case, that I bought the similar week. I highly advise getting blue lit fans to show off this case.

Replaced two 120mm fans in my Enermax Phoenix Neo case with a pair of these, and not only do they move much more air, the silence is nothing brief of astonishing to me. And the LED's are quite striking. These include mounting screws, and adapters to go from three pin motherboard headers to molex plug. Can't buy a 'six pack' of them...

SILVERSTONE FN121-BL Blue LED Case Fan
Comment:
Quiet yet moves a lot of air. Each died. When I had two fans on continuous 12v they lasted and worked flawlessly. After switching to a motherboard that can control fan speeds each died. The LEDs went initially. That didn't bother me too a lot. But then my temps were going up and looked at the fans. Both were turning so slow you could see the blades individually. Switched them off the mobo to direct 12v power provide. Too late. A close inspection revealed the LED wires were fried. If you purchase these fans maintain them off any sort of fan control. They are very quiet if you cut out the grills on inexpensive circumstances. Specifically the one applied for intake. Get a wire guard if you can't preserve your fingers out of spinning fans. ;PThey are challenging to install. To get about that run a screw by means of each and every hole just before putting them in the case. When putting them in the case turn the screw counterclockwise until you hear/feel the thread engage. Then turn clockwise to tighten.I will acquire once again but the non-LED versions.

My old system utilised 120mm brushless fans. Man do these sound so substantially quieter. And the blue LED's are a nice touch None to think of. These are definately a fantastic cost for what they are.

Finally identified the fan that fits my spending budget, noise, and performance expectations. At 1200RPM it moves an admirable amount of air. For a bit of reference it pushes about as much air as an 1600 RPM fan with 7 blades. (I don't want to say the brand name as it's against Newegg's guidelines but let's just say that the fans I was working with accompanied a case with a name that is slightly much less than 1000).Although I am skeptical of the 26 dB noise metric supplied it is undoubtedly a quite quit fan. This and other models from Silverstone do not support PWM. It's hardly a con if you're utilizing it as a case fan though. I have spent twice as a great deal on fans expecting this class of product. Obtain it. If you don't like the blue LED's obtain the ones that don't have 'em. I will definitely be using these in future builds so please maintain em in stock newegg, and thanks again for the rapidly shipping.

I like these fans because they look wonderful and are fairly quiet. They are perfect as case fans, but can also be decent CPU fans. The leds die pretty speedily. After about 6-8 months of use both of my fans are down to two leds out of 4.
