Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired Keyboard USB
Cons:Not worth the $110 price tag only worth 30 at mostKills my Microsoft digital Media Pro keyboardGoes into my eclipse during boot up and keypad locks up into that during xp boot up, then when in windows i get something similar to Craig_S however a simple (yet annoying) unplug and plug back in fixes all that. This could be my motherboard as i have read on issues about the companies boards doing weird things with the USB devices connectedAnnoying beep when punching in numbersTouchscreen is not always responsiveBad place for the touchscreens lock button

Pros:Nice LED back lightVery easy to type with
Comment:
I bought it initially for someone else but the LED light even on the lowest setting was too bright for them, they require it for night time typing. So i am now using it.Worked fine as intended for around 2 days but now requires a unplug and plug back in to get the keypad working. which is fine by me, as it all still works as intended. This keyboard will not work in a PS/2 Port due to the power needed for the display, no problem if you have more ports then you know what to do with. All in all i would buy it again but not for the current listed price but for 15-20 bucks, i picked up another 3 after trying this one as gifts. I will note about the issues with the touchscreen to them and possibly requiring a consistent unplug replug. I gave it 4/5 because of the hassle of requiring to unplug it to get it to work right.I would strongly suggests to look at the keyboard it self before buying (should have a flap to view with out opening the product) to make sure the lock key for the touch pad wont be in your way nor the keys normally between the number pad and qwerty keys.

Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired Keyboard USB
Cons:LCD touch screen has an annoying clicking soundLCD key appearance non-configurable

Pros:Looks great
Comment:
This keyboard is not worth over $100. A suitable price range would be somewhere below $50. Although the $15 I payed for it is definitely worth it. So far the only downsides I noticed are that the LCD keys have an annoying clicking sound that is quite loud and that the appearance of these keys can't be altered.Amazing for $15, not for $100+

Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired Keyboard USB
Cons:- Very hard to get used to the touch numpad- Numpad has a clicking noise for every button you press, and from what I can tell cannot be turned off- Not very customizable (Icons cannot be customized, can only launch applications)

Pros:Keyboard portions has a fairly nice matte feel to it, seems as though it is of high quality.
Comment:
The numpad is a complete novelty, it has a hard time recognizing when you press the buttons on the screen. Do not expect to customize the numpad either. You can't change any of the icons, you you can't edit the numpad portion and about 3/4 of the media buttons. Further you can really only launch applications with it, which is not the end of the world if you set up some good macros with autohotkey or something. I would have given this a lower score however at $15 I can't complain. However at regular price it is definitely not worth it! The only saving grace is the main portion of the keyboard which does have a nice finish and does feel quite nice on the fingers. If you are in the market for a new keyboard I would skip over this one.

great deal on this, not planning to compare this to mechanical keyboards which those are obviously more superior, but all i need for a HTPC is one of these, this does the job perfectly

Cons:The touch screen randomly goes on and off Build quality is plastic

Pros:The keys are responsive Compact sizegood looks
Comment:
This key board (in my opinion) is not worth $100. Maybe $30-$40 maximum. The keys work well, and the back light is decent. But don't expect too much. Also no where does it say Saitek anywhere on this board, it just says eclipse. Is this really made by Saitec?

Cons:LCD Touch some time just stop for no reason. You need to unplug the USB cable and replug it to make it work again. It is some time slow to react.Drivers are from Madcatz ? It doesn't mention anything about this when you buy it.I don't like Madcatz, they have always made cheap controllers.. hope this keyboard will last at least 1 year.

Pros:Looks really nice, easy to install.
Comment:
In summary, it's a good keyboard for $30-$40 but don't pay higher than that.I am a gamer and I though it would have been a nice gaming keyboard.. it is not. I will still use it for gaming/work purpose but if I had the choice, I would have go with another real gaming keyboard.

Comment:
Got this keyboard at a very nice price. Keyboard works pretty well and easy to install (worked without any drivers install for me) however the LCD is sometime slow to react if you type too fast. I would recommend this if its under 30$ but I would never pay full price for this.

Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired Keyboard USB
Cons:Everything else (drivers, durability, shotty config software)

Pros:Small, looks ni e
Comment:
Keys are cheap and construction is not sturdy, the slightest impact (an empty plastic water bottle) kills the numpad.Even before that the drivers were really bad, numpad wouldn't work half the time. I'd often have to plug in a second keyboard to log into windows before the keyboard would work, when the numpad died on it I just tossed it, there is practically no redeeming value to this keyboard beyond it's pleasant looks and somewhat compact design. All in all do not buy this, mine lasted all of 3 weeks.

Cons:the touchpad number keys are wierd.

Pros:$30 for this keyboard is a steal
Comment:
At full price, i would never recommend this keyboard... the keys are a bit mushy, the touchpad number pad is strange, if not pretty. The backlighting is really good though, and youll be hard pressed to find a decent backlit keyboard anywhere for $30.At the sale price, its am amazing keyboard...at regular price, there are much better options available.

Cons:LCD panel seems to stop working randomly.

Pros:Quality feel.Nice Click.LCD panel is really cool and pretty responsive.Has a built in speaker that clicks when lcd panel is touched.
Comment:
I was very impressed with this keyboard. I bought this for my girlfriend for $29.99 and I almost wanted to steal it for myself (I have the Logitech G510). It has a really nice rubber grippy feel to it and the keys have a short throw with a satisfying click (not audible). The lcd panel is a lot more useful than I thought it would be (I thought it looked gimmicky at first) but we seem to be having a problem with it turning off randomly and having to unplug/plug the keyboard back in to make it work again. It still registers presses and makes a click sound, but it's just a blank screen. This may be some power saving setting or key combination that we've stumbled into so take it with a grain of salt.

Cons:Touchpad is stupid, keys go squishy relatively quickly

Pros:Backlit, Responsive keys, Good quality
Comment:
Overall well made keyboard, but I hope you aren't buying this for the touchpad. It's a stupid gimmick and doesn't work well. The keys are hard to hit consistently, and often wont turn on if after awakening your computer from sleep mode. But for $20, it's a great well made keyboard. Keys aren't loud, although the keys do feel squishy now after about 3 months usage, which seems faster than the average keyboard

Cons:after about a week some of the key lettering started wearing off

Pros:vey nice looking keyboard
Comment:
I was wanting a backlit keyboard to replace my old Zippy that had died a couple of years earlier after it decided to have afternoon tea . This keyboard is very similar to my old Zippy which also had scissor keys . but after just a week the lettering started to wear off I only paid 14.00 dollars for it but considering its regular price is much more this is definatly not woth the regular price .

Comment:
The Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired USB Keyboard is a nice keyboard when it is on sale for $20. If you want a cheap, easy to use, cool keyboard, just get this one when it's on sale. I got this for $20 just because I was amused by the LED Screen and it didn't really let me down.

Cons:No trackball and click pads available on the wired version of this keyboardLCD back-light does not light equally

Pros:Bright LCD NumPad2 Extra LCD screens for shortcuts, display not customizable only shortcuts
Comment:
People have been complaining about the LCD pad and how it does not respond. So far mine has worked well both on my wired and wireless version of this keyboard.I would not classify this as a gaming keyboard but it can be used just as well as another keyboard that's worth 20$. Got this on special and worth the buy, especially for a work station, disappointing not to have the trackball mouse on the keyboard, although it is not the greatest, it could have been useful on a busy workstation where the mouse can get buried or pushed away by equipment.Full price is too high for this keyboard due to the quality, the unequal lighting and what not, is all a nono when you are charging over 100$ for a keyboard, but at the price drop, its more than a bargain, its almost given. I would rate this keyboard being worth 40-50$.

Cons:keyboard keys feels cheap, some keys glow brighter than other, the LCD touch screen does not turn on when i turn on my laptop when its on sleep.

Pros:back light, LCD touch screen, programmable buttons
Comment:
its a beautiful keyboard and i only got it for $15 so its even better, i don't have many problems. My main problem is that the LCD touch screen does not turn on after i turn on my computer when i put it on sleep. Another problem i had was the feeling of the keys, they feel cheaply made and they feel fragile to a drop. The last problem i had was with the lighting of the keys, some of the keys glow brighter than the other which made it weird. This keyboard is very nice but i wouldn't recommend to gamers since the touch screen isn't always responding the best, but it is still good for everyday regular use. I love this keyboard and will be continuing to use it.

Saitek Eclipse Lite Touch Wired Keyboard USB
Cons:Touchpad is a gimmickRandomly dies every now and then

Pros:Good qualityCheap when on saleBacklight!Smooth keystrokes
Comment:
This was a bargin at $20's for a backlight keyboard. The keystrokes feel smooth and the keys are fairly well spaced out (I have smallish hands) The touchpad functionality is more of a gimmick, especially if you already have a multimedia mouse. The touch pad isn't good for data entry, and the media functions aren't very useful since everything is just a click away. I would recommend you buy the wireless keyboard on sale instead. It is worth the extra $10 because it has a trackball and mouse buttons.

Cons:Crammed keys, unusable lcd numpad, awkwardly placed numpad lock button (beside the windows key) and doesn't save settings.

Pros:Solid build, cheap.
Comment:
I bought it for 19$+tax so I have nothing to complain but if I had to buy it for full price but do review the images and other reviews carefully if you are planning on buying. Numpad on the right is absolutely unusable, often not registering keystrokes and etc.
