It's actually my second, it's often cheaper to get this set than batteries alone.These batteries are well-made and the charge holds for a long time. They charge fairly quickly in the charger. The charger feels light and flimsy but works.You can get higher capacity rechargeables but these still are very good.A somewhat unscientific measurement - weight. Those throwaway batteries included with electronic items are very light. These ones are extremely heavy for their size - in my mind that's indicative of lots of dense electrolyte material and less liquids, inerts and fillers but that's just a guess.I'm using the AAAs in Panasonic cordless phone handsets, they work perfectly in this application. The AAs I'm using in Xbox 360 wireless controllers, they last a long time in this application as well. I think I'll use the spare AAs in my cordless mouse and keyboard.Definitely recommended.

I can have months without using my gear and these batteries will still have their charge on them. Because of that, I've been using these batteries for almost anything, T.V. remotes, clocks, penlights, etc. When NCIX sells them on sale, I'll make sure to get one. Too bad they limit only 1 per customer. I would buy at least 2 every time.Highly recommended for demanding photographic needs as well as average household use.

In my experience when recharged they are always under 1900 mAh usually more than 1800 but less than 190 mAh and I use a very sensitive high end digtal recharger with individual control over each battery. Pros:Good quality. Comment: In summary, Sanyo eneloop AA batteries do not deliver the charges they advertise.I would suggest NCIX to look into incorporate to its product lineupthe Powerex AA 2700 mAh. They are the ones with the Black cover (not the Imedion which are inferior)
Geeky@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 03/18/12	Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable Battery Charger AA 4 Pack and AAA 2 Pack Cons:- None Pros:- Works as advertised- Amazing value for the package, especially on sale Comment: Anyone who has bought rechargeables lately has seen price inceases, especially when you need Nickle-Metal Hydride (NiMH). And you usually do, to almost entirely avoid issues with partial charges and memory effect.When this kit is on sale, you would be hard pressed to get just a NiMH-capable charger for the same money, and yet here you get 4AA and 2AAA as well. This would all be trivial if they were poor quality, but they just aren't. If the performance of these batteries suffers at all compared to the competition, I certainly haven't noticed. Be sure to pick up some of these for your high-draw devices. For the price you might even consider them for some medium-demand devices just for the rechargeability. (NiMH batteries do exhibit some self-drain, so don't be trying these in things like wall clocks.)

Comment: I've used rechargeable batteries since the early 80's. Of all the brands I've used, these are hands down the best. After countless charging cycles, the first ones I bought 5 years ago are still in use. They are pre-charged, they last a long time, they hold a charge, they can power digital toys. I like that they are white, they don't get easily mixed up with off-brand disposables (more than a few generic silver colour rechargeable batteries have been accidentally recycled in my house). Picked up a couple of these charger/battery packs on ridiculous sale. Cheaper than buying the batteries alone, extra charger for the kids to use for wii remotes batteries.
