Seagate ST4000VN000 4TB 3.5in 64MB NAS Hard Drive
Cons:None so far...

Pros:Fast, none was doa, consistent performance
Comment:
Bought 4 of these to install in a Synology DS412+. All four were in good condition and working fine since the beginning. Getting 110-120 mo/s in read and 100-105 mo/s in write when paired with this NAS model. First time with Seagate!

Seagate ST4000VN000 4TB 3.5in 64MB NAS Hard Drive
Cons:Non yet

Pros:Good TB/$ ratio
Comment:
Works well in my TS-212 with TimeMachine. The bottleneck is the TS-212 CPU.

Seagate ST4000VN000 4TB 3.5in 64MB NAS Hard Drive
Cons:Expensive, paying bit of premium for NAS technology on these drives. Would have been better if they offer 5 year warranty specifically for these NAS drives to show that they have more than the standard 3 year of confidence behind their products.

Pros:Huge capacity, built specifically for NAS
Comment:
Purchased one from NCIX for my NAS storage, got a pair in total and running in RAID 1, so far so good, runs quiet and cool. Be sure to research first and install on a motherboard that supports GPT partition. If it is under Windows 7 or above, it will give you two options to initialize, GPT or MBR, MBR will not address more than 2TB.

Seagate ST4000VN000 4TB 3.5in 64MB NAS Hard Drive
Cons:The usual couple of strange results in testing - par for the course with all Seagates. Raw Read error rate and Seek Error Rate show high numbers with all of my Seagates. It has not been an issue in long term use with all other Seagate drives.

Pros:Good price on sale (175).All tests on two have gone without issue.Reasonable temps (39C) when doing full surface scans in dock with no cooling.Three year warranty (checked) which is normal for a drive of this type.
Comment:
I got these drives because of sale price, and because they are different to my other 4T drives. (In case a line of drives is found to have catastrophic failure or firmware issues.). They will be used for off-line backup, with a parity drive protection, and to allow checking for integrity. So, not a useful review in terms of people intending to use the drives for their intended purpose in a NAS box.
