StarTech Mini DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter MDP2VGA
Cons:Possibly limited resolution, have yet to try over 1280x1024, but I am running 3840x1024 no problem and thats just because of monitor max. should work at higher too.

Pros:Does eyefinity flawlessly without expensive adapters!
Comment:
All the NCIX guys and just about any professional will tell you this won't work for eyefinity. That's uneducated lies(ignorance). Since eyefinity debuted I have been using this brand/type of adapter without a hitch, without active adapter!

StarTech Mini DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter MDP2VGA
Cons:None.

Pros:- Decent Price- Works with Radeon HD 6850
Comment:
I bought this to use my 2x VGA Monitors on my XFX Radeon HD 6850 (one DVI-I to VGA adapter, and this Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter). It's been working well for the past 3 weeks or so. I've had no issues with it at all. Note: I bought this adapter at one of the NCIX local stores, not online. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-04-11 01:04 PM

StarTech Mini DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter MDP2VGA
Cons:Nuts are too far back to easily screw into. Not quite as "sleek" looking as Apple's adapter.

Pros:Reasonable price, works fine
Comment:
I got this for my MacBook Pro, and it works just fine. I get a good, clear picture on my 20" 1600x1200 display, and there was no real setup or hassle. This unit (for me) was a good bit cheaper than Apple's Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, and works just as well. Sure, it isn't all white and rounded and pretty, but there are no real disadvantages here. This works great and I saved some money. My only complaint was that it was tricky to screw in the VGA cable, beause the nuts just weren't quite long enough to reach, but I did eventually get the VGA cable to screw in. Many people probably don't use the screws anyways, but I thought it worth pointing out.
