wouldn't work with Win ME
Comment:
I was looking for an adapter to use with windows ME. My son (IT professional) and I worked or 2-3 hours trying to get it to work with Win ME and eventually gave up and had a beer. Great bonding experience. Threw it in a box and may try again on another computer with XP.

Worked well at first
Comment:
Worked the first 2 weeks. The adapter then failed ... reinstalled the driver worked for another week ... loaded driver from web site ... web site had V1 and V3. Nothing on the part or label indicated which it was. Box said V2.5 ??? rated value a 2 even if it's cheap, if it doesn't work what's the point?

Works ok for the money
Comment:
This device is not horrible, but not great either. It works decent for the money. I needed a way to have wireless in a laptop that the internal radio quit, it does this well enough.

Wireless adapter
Comment:
Over 50 feet away the signal was so low that staying connect was impossible. Threw it away after installing one I bought at Best Buy.

Great Value
Comment:
A great value for the money. It was easy to install on a computer using Windows XP, and gets a decent signal even though it's close to 100 feet away from the router, with several thick walls in between. I tried a much expensive adapter in the same location and got no better results.

Doesn 't hold wireless connection well
Comment:
Good price but I got two, one in the home and the other in the garage. Neither connects well or holds the wireless connetion signal well. Always low signal strength even on the one inside my small home.

I don't have any complaints about this item. It works exactly the way it should, and it's super easy to get started. And it was cheap!

poor reception
Comment:
After I got this adaptor up and running, I found that it reception was terrible. The adaptor was located about 12 feet from the router and the connection was poor. I have found that with my Netgear WG111v3 that there are a total of 11 different networks within the vicinity of my home. Out of the 11 the TP-link only found 3. Maybe if you sitting right next to the router you could use it. Otherwise don't waste your money. Spend a little more and get a Netgear WG111v3. I have used 4 different wireless adaptors. While all of them worked, none would match it in speed, connect-ability, and ease of setup.

Once I was able to locate the drivers (I am running Windows 7, so it took me a little bit), it has worked great! Great product for the price!

Works like it should.
Comment:
I struggled along with an old generation wireless adapter that never worked right. I figured it was my computer. Surfing the net is so much easier now.

so far it works without any problems. Easy to install. It seems quite sensitive with respect to the router alignment.

It Works!
Comment:
Removed the wireless G adapter from the double box, briefly glanced at the instruction sheet, inserted the cd into the drive, loaded the driver, and inserted the adapter into the USB slot and my Vista 64-bit recognized the driver and adapter and immediately searched for a signal. Found my wireless network and 3 others. Entered my WPA key and we were good to go. As usual, very quick service.

Worth the Price
Comment:
This does what it should do, it provides wireless. I used this on a 64bit version of windows vista and the first time I installed the drivers it blue screened my computer. However, after the restart the drivers where installed and the adapter worked. It has not yet blue screened since so it seemed like a one time thing. I installed this on a business computer and recently I have been told that it was dropping the wireless signal, after examination it appeared to be an issue with vista's power settings. Overall this is a great adapter for the price, no flip open antenna like some, but range seems to be good so w/e.

Difficult or Easy? You Decide.
Comment:
This adapter can be difficult or easy to install depending on how well you can follow instructions. Also, the complete instructions, instead of a ''Quick Install'' sheet is located at the manufacturer's site. The most important thing to note while installing is that you absolutely must install the adapter's software before installing the hardware. (Don't plug the hardware in until after you have installed the software.) The second most important thing to note, if you are setting up an ad hoc network, is that you have to disable your other (Ethernet) LAN connections before setting up your host and client connections. Afterwords, you can turn them back on. Also if you have hooked up an ad hoc network, peer-to peer, your connection speed will likely max out it about 13Mbps. Ad hoc networks are slower than routered networks. So the slower speed is not the fault of the adapter.

Reliable product at great price!
Comment:
Works wonderfully as long as you use the included drivers. I used to swear by a very cheaply made Chinese wireless USB dongle and ended up buying at least half a dozen as they kept breaking. The connection was always stable and strong and would never drop, so I was hoping I could somehow find that same adapter but made better that wouldn't cause the case to break apart and render it useless. Well, I think this uses the exact same chipset, except it's A LOT more sturdier and is in as good condition 3 months later as it was the day it arrived. The signal is strong, my connections do not drop, and the price is unbeatable. This adapter has truly surpassed my high expectations and I would recommend it to anybody looking for one.

TP-LINK TL-WN322G USB 2.0 54M Wireless Adapter
Comment:
I had some doubt, but since there was a 30 day refund policy I decided to give it a try. First the software that it install is a bit strange. I end up switching to windows zero configuration wireless utility. Second, as for the Performance I a have a computer in the basement that connect to the access point at 54mg with and excellent signal. And the adapter on the same level get to 11mg with an average signal. No matter if it's connected directly to the desktop or raised above the desk with the supply extension cable. So you get what you have paid for and it's good enough if your not picky about the performance.
