Very Good Deal!
Comment:
I've been using it for about a month now and it was really easy to setup in my old Dell Dimension (no wireless card). Installed the software, reboot and plugin the card and voila! there it was! Added the device to my network and started using the internet pretty quick. Good product. Thanks!

Perfect inexpensive portable/backup wifi card
Comment:
This was the second one of these cards I've purchased. It is sturdy and works great. The wireless network here restricted by MAC so when someone brings in a laptop for repair, I can just pop this card in and get to work without having to muck around trying to find their MAC address and get it allowed on the wireless network.

Works well
Comment:
This TrendNet card functions well, although a little slower than the Netgear one it replaced. The software was easy to install. My only sugggestion is not to use the "updated" software on the company's website but the included CD instead. Since I have a TrendNet router the hookup was clean. Connection speed is 11 megs, however, slower than the USB plug in version. Why, I do not know. Not an issue for me since my max speed is 7 megs.

Works wonderfully!
Comment:
I just installed it and it started working. Best performance than the USB Wireless adapter I was using. 100% (Excellent) reception throughout the house, as compared to Good with other brand. A wonderful option for the low price!

Great for the price
Comment:
I've had the unit a couple of weeks. Works well through the house and outside. Setup took a couple of tries. I ended up letting WindowsXP enable and disable connection. If I disabled the connection with the software it came with I could not enable it later.

Great Value
Comment:
I purchased this card to replace a broken Linksys adapter. The Trendnet card has worked very well in most situations, and range and signal quality seem to be at least on-par with competing products. The construction does feel a bit light, but it is rigid and would stand up to normal use (but not abuse!). For what you pay, this card is an exceptional value.

Hassle free installation and configuration, next best thing after an on-board wi-fi adapter.

WHY IS IT SUCH A PITA TO INSTALL? I'M NOT A COMPUTER WHIZ, BUT HEY, I'M NOT BACKWARD ON THE SUBJECT EITHER. I'LL GET IT INSTALLED AND IT HAD BETTER WORK OR WE'LL SEE IF IT CAN STAND UP TO THE HAMMER TEST!

I could see wireless networks but couldn't connect. Also caused computer to lock up every few seconds for a period of 3 or 4 seconds. Tried a Belkin card and it is working fine now.

TRENDnet TEW-421PC 802.11g Wireless PC Card
Comment:
Loaned out my D-link card so ordered this as the price was great. Installed in an Athlon XP home laptop and got 100% signal from the get-go. It talks to my D-link router just fine and my sister-in-law can keep the other card. I don't understand the negative reviews as the CD came with mine. Didn't want the McAfee as it's only a 30 day ''free'' trial as I have ''really free'' internet suites. Ordered 2/27 and got here 3/3.
