I bought this headset for my father, he needed it for an online course he was taking. Its a very good headset when you see you can get it for 9.99$. Even if the price is a little bit cheap, I can tell you won't be disapointed. Maybe it is not very loud but, it is confortable. Tought, I wouldn't wear it for 10 hours, because you'll get red ears but, for short gaming sessions its very good. The mic is also working great, for 9.99 you can't be wrong.

On sale it is a satisfactory purchase. It shuts out exterior noise very well, and the quality of plastic material is surprising. Sound in and out is decent enough for everyday use like gaming and audio chat.

For the price I find it alright, I paid only 10$ on sale, very comfortable, easy to adjust, mic works fine but I find the sound is kinda low even tho if I put volume all up from headset and computer, besides that it's a good headset for the price I paid.

I needed an inexpensive set of phones, they were on sale and picked them up for less than half price.The best part about these is that they do not hurt when wearing for extended periods.Don't sit on them and don't expect audiophile quality of sound and you will be fine.

I bought these headphones because I lost my other ones. These are great! The earpads and the headband are made of a soft leather-like material that is really comfortable and I can wear the headphones for hours. If these were available as just a headset, no mic, I would get one for day-to-day use. I would definitely buy them again, as a gift, or just to have another pair for my other computer.

I Bought these to replace some real cheap headsets that hurt my ears these ones are great 6 hours gaming no discomfort! I Want more for my kids, waiting for the sale!

Just picked these up from the last sale, where they were $10, and yes, it's ONLY $10, but to be honest, I feel like I wasted that money, and instead should've put it towards a decent headset. Oh well, I took the $10 risk that they might be ok(i.e. at least as good as the other cheap headset I've been using that no longer has any foam covering on the ear pieces), and unfortunately, in this case I lost.... guess I'll give them away.Admittedly, I haven't tried the mic yet, but assuming it works ok, there actually are some good points to this headset:- Cheap,- Earphones are reasonably well padded, and comfortable,- Handy volume control & mic mute in the cord,- The mic is flexible, and easy to place where you'd like it.Now the bad:- As mentioned above, the sound is pretty crappy. This headset is perfectly usable for chatting, gaming, music, etc., BUT the sound the headphones produce has too much bass, even when reducing it via the various controls(hardware & software) available. It's not that they're booming or anything like that, but it's just plain muddy, and the resulting sound is not very clear.- Also, given my setup, the way that they merged the two cables into one, makes these almost unusable for me, at least without an extension cable.

For the price, this is the best headphones you can get. Got these headsets because the one i was looking for was out of stock at the local NCIX store, but i am glad i got this one instead.

Overall these are great at what they are advertised to do. Good for gaming, nice and clear sound from them and the mic is good too. When I first opened the shipping box I was afraid since the packaging is very cheap looking but so far I'm impressed with them, and I'm glad I bought them.

I have gone through a lot of pairs of under $50 headphones and these are the most comfortable so far. These are the best so far. I let them stretch overnight on my pc case to widen them. The sound is perfectly acceptable, and hour to hour, I end up caring more about comfort. I was pleasantly surprised by these.

Overall a very good headset, especially for the price. Very good sound. Larger and heavier than Logitech Clearchat headsets, but not too bad. Completely cover the ears, as opposed to the Clearchat, which more or less sits on the ears. This may make this headset uncomfortable for people who wear glasses. It's alright to listen to music with, better than your average front left right speakers, but it's perfect for what its name suggests; gaming. I haven't tried out any of the other gaming headsets, but so far this one does its job well. This is compared to my Sennhieser PC 161SK's, which are one of the best headsets you can get.First, they have a heft and build quality that is suprising at this price point. They use cheap-looking glossy plastic, but it is by no means cheap-feeling.The Mic boom is very solid and positionable, sound quality on the mic is very good, comparable to my sennhiesers.The earcups enclose the ear completely, blocking outside noise a decent amount. The Foam cushions are coated and will get hot and sweaty after long periods- Par for this price range.The headband is leatherette and very supportive, but without a bit of break-in the headset squeezes my head a little to much. May improve with time.The Cord is thick, about 6ft long, and the plugs have a solid positive lock in my computer jacks. Not cheap-feeling at all.Sound quality compared to my senns is no contest, muffled and a lack of distinction in all ranges. good headset for the price the sound is decent and the mic works great i do get some echo outa the mic every now and them but besides that there pretty good for cheap "gaming" headset. They fit nice on your head too so thats always a plus in my books.

It's a cheap unit and it's all I need for just occasional video conferencing. The sound is clear and mic is not noisy. The hard core music quality definitely isn't as good as the more expensive ones.The ear cups are not that big and don't cover up your ears very well, but I can still hear clearly. I also like the rotating mic which can be flipped up when I'm only listening.Overall, it's not the highest quality. But it's cheap and does what I want to.

For gaming etc.. or online video etc etc... nab em on sale.For the $ you can't go wrong.For serious music listening however they just won't cut it but to be fair they were never designed for such obviously. :)Overall buy em on sale.. use em for what they are best at.

Got these on sale for $10, and they work, so not too much to complain about. I haven't exactly done extensive testing, but the speakers and microphone both seem to have decent sound quality, which for $10 is all you can expect
