Good Fan
Comment:
Put this fan on a amd dual core 4400. Had it on about a month and no problems yet. Runs goods, and is reasonably quiet, fan is not overly cumbersome. I don't know if I would use it on a quad core, but for dual core it has no problem keeping cool.

Great Value and Performance, but Loud!
Comment:
Works well...a little loose of a fit...worthless instructions. Very Loud! Works well with X2's.

Came with heat jell already in proper place
Comment:
Quality product. Open carefully as the heat paste is already applied in the proper location for most all chips. I ordered a syringe of heat jelly anyway. The clipping of the fan to the top of the chip was a little hard for me to do but my fingers are very crippled from arthritis.

Good, but not for gaming
Comment:
It is a nice fan for keeping your CPU cool under a normal load. But when I game (Overclocking my CPU to 3.1GHz) my computer crashes within 10 minutes of playing. Don't let this steer you away from this CPU though! It will play most games just not CPU intensive such as COD:5 and UT3. I think for only 20 dollars this is a steal of a CPU cooler. It will fit 90% of peoples needs and is SILENT. My GPU is louder than this cooler. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS CPU COOLER for the average PC user with some gaming involved but NO OC'ing.

fan
Comment:
I'm using this fan on a AMD 9550 Quad core processor and its keeping the unit at 31.3C or 86.8F inside my computer bench. Thats the coolest any computer has been in that location. Great very happy.

Great HSF at a reasonable price!
Comment:
Just ordered a 4th of these to cool another barebones kit for a customer. Light in weight, reasonable cost and the thermal compound is already on there. Auto speed adjust on my Biostar mobos works great with these.

Great fan at a very good price value!
Comment:
After reading some internet reviews about the ASUS motherboard I was considering buying, one criticism of the MB was that the CPU fan was in the way of the memory slots. So I checked out various specs of different fans they were selling and I settled on this one. Turned out to be a great choice as there was no interference problem. The fan was easy to install with heat sink compound already applied. It runs very quiet in my Cooler Master Centurion 5 case.

My 3rd one of these - Great value/performance.
Comment:
This is my third one of these, easy install. Much quieter and larger than the OEM provided AMD Fan while also being smaller and easier to install than most of the heatpipe monsters I have used in the past.

Good fan at a good price
Comment:
I wasnt expecting this quality for what I spent. It was a bit large and was an interesting ordeal to fit into the midsize atx case. However once it was in it kept my Athlon 64 very cool and was a very quiet fan.

Very quiet. Great value for the price.
Comment:
First time buying this brand. Wanted an inexpensive cooler for my processor. Saw this one, tried it out, and it is great. I leave my PC on 24/7 and no problems with processor over heating and shutting down.

Great Work Fan
Comment:
I have a AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ and had this fan at first. It is a good fan to keep things under the max temp when running normal apps like powerpoint and etc. But it could only handle about 20-40mins of gaming Mirror's Edge on full with phisx enabled before my comp shut down. So if you're looking for a fan to keep your CPU cool as you work on school assignments or surfing the web, this is the best fan for the price. As for gameing, I suggest the Butterfly.

Easiest fan I ever had!
Comment:
Like I said: the easiest fan I have ever installed. I am not sure how well it does on cooling, since I put together computer for friend - but so far have not had them compain about anything, so I guess it works well, too.

Great Fan but make sure...
Comment:
I thought i would write this just in case someone has the same problem i did.I built my rig and when i was finished, the fan would not spin.I went through about an hour of troubleshooting PSU,connections,CPU etc.etc.Finally i screwed off the fan from the heatsink, and the manufacturers did pull down the device,as stuck upwards. This caused the problem. So if anyone buys this, and it is not spinning, make sure this is your first step.Hope this helps out someone.Other than, outstanding fan and outstanding price.5 stars.

Great for the money
Comment:
keeps the CPU from getting hot. Its pretty quiet and the aluminum is shinny ohh shinny. It took me a minute to get the clamp figured out. Put the non locking end on first then the locking end slipped right on for me. using on xp5000 x2 cpu
