Purchased to expand my network at home(LAN Parties) works great and with green aspect shuts down when not in use. Also have a 5 port from Trendnet same type. Happy with all. Ideal for samll office or home applications.

Cons:cables are plugged in the front creating more of a mess than rear-facing but once you go over 8 ports they are all like that
