convenient but ,,,
Comment:
Convenient set if you need to purchase tools quickly. It does the job. The syringe-type 3-prong extractor is very useful. I purchased to have a carrying case and some confidence that tools were antistatic (some of my existing tools were magnetized). If you are used to quality tools this set will seem cheesy.

Can't beat this kit for price to utility
Comment:
Can't beat this kit for price to utility. The soldering iron and the screw drivers have already proved their worth multiple times since I received them. Very happy.

Simple carrying case; good that it's sipper up. Things fit snugly inside, excellent for carrying around in a medium size back pack. Essential tools for computers.

Generally good mix of tools
Comment:
The wire stripper is sub-standard. The tool must be adjusted with a flat blade screwdriver to form the depth of strip. The surface the nut bites against is smooth and allows the adjustment to slip when tightening it, throwing off adjustment. The rest of the tool kit was pretty good. The spare parts kit was wierd for a computer mix with spades and lug terminals. Used those in the 1960's but not now. The rest of the kit was pretty good, though I did swap out the parts kit for a tube in the soldering iron spot, and ditch the spare parts bin to allow for a power supply tester. For the money, the value is there. There is meat, but you will have to season it to your own taste. It would be nice if they also sold the case alone in two or three color and allowed us to populate it with our own flavor of tool mixes. Sometimes I may be working on home theater and need a differet blend. Just a thought for another line item.

Quality portable repair tool kit at a great price
Comment:
You can't beat this kit for an everyday portable tool kit. I swapped out the soldiering iron for a wire cutter and added a hex set and this is the perfect kit to keep in a bag.

It has almost every tool I need to repair my PC. It is only missing a magnify glass, and anti-static wrist strap.

Great Setup
Comment:
I used this as soon as it got here, and I can already tell, I'll be using it over and over again. I already feel the connection one feels with a good set o'tools. Don't really need the wrist-wrap as most people in the business already have something mildly sentimental.

This is a good kit. The only problem I have is that it does not come with an antistatic wrist strap. You would think it would. But oh well.

Good starter kit.
Comment:
This is an ok starter kit but the tools are low grade quality. It's not the deal it's cracked up to be. A person would be better off going to the hardware store and buying these items individually, for quality purposes if you plan on using them a lot.

Good portable kit for computers
Comment:
This is a good basic tool kit including soldering iron and solder. It might be a trifle enthusiastic marketing to include a handful of cable ties and small parts in the '107 piece' count.
