One of two bad
Comment:
I had a problem similar to another reviewer: one of the two modules was defective. It took a lot of effort and frustration for me to figure this out, while attempting to install Windows 7. The replacement process is very cumbersome. I has to purchace a new module to shorten the delay caused by the replacement system. As much as I purchase from this company, i could not do a direct replacement. This has caused me to rethink where I do my major purchases from. The replacement worked fine with no problems |

good memory

I purchased this as part of package deal for under $30; it works great. Looking to add another 2GB, but TG has raised the price! |

Received with barebone kit. Installed set up everything is working fine. |

Good memory
Comment:
Fully compatible, works as advertised. Windows open faster, less lag overall. Unfortunately, Windows 7 only recognizes 4 GB total, including the 1gb of video ram, so Windows only sees 3 of the 4 installed. Maybe I should upgrade to 64 bit, which would fix this. |

It seems to run the games my grandkids play fine. They are simple games and not graphic intense. |

Pretty good
Comment:
It seems to run well when I play older games, however I get a bad framerate on newer games. Although that most likely has something to do with my gpu. |

Bought 2 to upgrade my Compaq desktop. Both did not work! Unfortunately I can't return them because it's been over a month since I bought them. |

Bought this for a rebuild I was doing with a MCP6P-M2 mother board. Works just great. No problems with install or the computer accepting it. |

Came with my barebone kit, no problem working with Window 7. I plan to add another 2Gb RAM, will buy from the same manufacture to assure 100% compatibility |

1 of 2 bought was bad
Comment:
I bought two, one was bad. After changing motherboards and spending gobs more time than I should trying to get the barebones kit this came with to work, I finally determined one was bad. I returned it, got a replacement and now things are good. |

Comment:
I purchased this for a friend of the family. We were both surprised that the memory card was so cheap. By the way it only took 4 days from the states to an APO in Germany. |

Bad Memory Chip
Comment:
One of the two PC 5400's that I received was bad out of the box. My system would attempt to boot, but would hang up. I removed one of the PC 5400's (the bad one) and the system worked fine. Switched the two memory chips and then the system would not boot. |

It's ok for the mainstreamers
Comment:
Building my own computer finally and this came with the bundle I purchased. I wasn't too fond of only 2 gig, specially when it isn't 800mhz, but this will get the job done. My music software has the potential to do much more than this memory allows it (acid 7.0 and a lot of plug ins) but it hands everything much better than the old 'puter. I'm keeping it until I upgrade to 800mhz, or maybe build another computer and go with the ddr3. I hear wonders. Pretty soon we'll have ddr5 though, and no one will know what to do anymore to go faster lol. |
