Yes, I know it's only $.49, but it's a short cord, and the retractor wheel is a bit sloppy. Just grab a old cord and put a twist-tie around it....

Good buy for 49 cents, I use this for my wall phone. But I think I will try and do what Mike did and put my headphones in it..

I removed the wire and used the retractor for my headphone wire. For .50 cents, you cant go wrong. To take apart, you peel back the sticker, remove one screw and make very sure you dont lose the little ball bearing inside...its very small, if its dropped onto the floor your done. Then just take off the phone cable and insert whatever wire you want so long as its very thin and wrap it around and presto, no more tangled wires.

For .49 cents you can't go wrong! Retractable so you do not have a tangled mess. Easily transportable.

It's fine, but not long enough, so I keep it on the counter for my house phone and have to use the other one for the computer.

Its a RJ-11 cable. Even thought no one ever likes to use it. Dial-Up internet access is a secure backup to your current ISP. It may be a good Idea to buy these just in case. and Just to let people know there are some Dial-Up services available that don't really cost much.
